After the lecture ended, Logan stood up with mixed feelings.
He wasn't the only one who felt that way. Most of the other students in his class looked around weirdly, searching for their group members.
"Look, it could've been worse," Grant said, patting Logan's back.
"How so?" Logan asked, staring at him.
"Uhm," Grant stuttered, scratching his cheek. "Well, if Derek and his friend were in your group, it could've been worse."
"I guess that's a fair point," Logan nodded, heading out of the classroom with the others following closely behind.
"Think about it," Robert joined in. "At least Livia is somewhat neutral, and you've spoken to her before, which I doubt Derek has."
Logan gave a nod, lost in thought.
"Well, anyway," Grant said loudly. "I'm going to search for my two teammates and start planning ahead."
Thomas, Layla, and Robert nodded, each planning to do the same.
"Good luck," Logan told them, smiling softly. "I'll try to do the same in a little."
