"..." Junala stared, as she didn't expect to find one so quickly...
"Y-You can understand me?" Junala wondered, as she couldn't be understood by the normal human tongue... Therefore...
"Y-Yes?" The boy said in an innocent tone.
"Oh, good gods..." Junala started to panic a little. She not only found a possible candidate this early, but a child...
"Which one of you bastards did this?" She growls to herself,
"Bastards...?" The boy mimicked...
"!!!" She recognized the face in a way. She then knew...
"Gallinum, you little sneezy bastard...!" Junala was FURIOUS,
"?" Back at the God Realm...
"Something the matter, Gallinum?" Spoke Alissia,
"No... I don't think so." He looked around, as if he was being stabbed by something, but shrugged it off.
"Ugh..." But back to Junala, she was hoping to find a proper candidate... But they got a child with a god's blood right here. The cat version of the woman then turned around, staring right at him.
"I think we should find a secluded area to discuss... This." Junala said, as the boy nodded, and eventually, within an alleyway...
"Don't freak out, alright, kid?" Junala asked, as the boy nodded, and...
"Fwoosh!" Arcana surged and twirled, as in an instant, Junala shifts from her cat form into her reagle divine self. She did look like a human, but something screamed otherworldly being.
"Woah..." The child's eyes twinkled as Junala stared,
"I am Junala, the Demigod of War. I am here in search of a champion to spread my name... And you just so happen to be..." Junala sighed,
"What's your name, boy?" She asked, as the child said,
"I am Basin Goldhold," Basin said, as Junala nodded,
"A profound name. You'll make for a great warrior, Basin. Of course it'll take years for that to happen..." Junala then thinks,
'Unless I teach him in a year... Hm. This is tricky dealing with mortal lives...' Junala wanted... Hm. Maybe when he's ready, he'll ascend to become an Immortal.
'But then someone would need to rise to a Demigod and a Demigod to a God... I wonder how father... Hm.' Junala continued to think.
"..." Basin is silent, but...
"Alright. You will become my champion. I will train you in the next few years and when the time is right... You are to spend your days spreading my name, fighting in the name of Junala, Demigod of War!" Junala said, as many knew of Junala, as a strategist and might so powerful that anyone who receives her blessing will live as a mighty warrior of prestige
"Really?" Basin is surprised to receive such words from something.
"Of course. After all... You're special." Junala said, as...
"Come! I will show you to your new home, child of Goldhold." Junala said, as the boy steps to her, and...
"Vrrmmmm...!" Arcana surrounded the pair, and being shot up in a red beam of light, people from the kingdom watched, unsure of what happened, as Basin's eyes were sealed SHUT.
"BOOM!" And a loud shockwave is heard, as this is Junala's domain. A large arena is seen, as Junala soon said,
"Open your eyes." She said, as Basin complies.
"!!!" And his eyes were WIDE,
"W-Where are we?" He wondered,
"We're... In the God Realm. My home and where the gods reside."
"G-Gods!?!" Basin's eyes widened, HE'S IN THE REALM OF THE GODS.
"This land will be where you train for the coming years. Until you become a man, you will stay here, and when you are brought back to your kingdom... Spread my name and teachings amongst the mortals." She said, as Basin is just starstruck-
"Oh? Seems you brought a mortal here." Spoke...
"..." Junala stared at...
"Gallinum, you little..."
"I knew that was you insulting me. Nobody can make me feel uneasy unless it's you. Now, who's the mortal child?" Gallinum said,
"Your kin." Junala flat out said,
"... Excuse me?"
"I SAID HE'S YOUR KIN! YOU BASTARD!" Junala was going to go HAM on him, and since they're in her domain... Yeah, Gallinum is somewhat at her mercy,
"Y-You're lying. I haven't had a lover in decades-"
"YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND, HUH!?!" Junala roared, as if a lion were right in front of him.
"Humans give birth, and their children can give birth. Connect those dots, Sea Monster." She said, her anger seeping out of her.
"... Oh." Gallinum does remember a beautiful woman he...
"Oh." Gallinum looked at the child,
"S-So... What's your family name, child?" Gallinum wondered,
"Goldhold."
"... Shit." Gallinum recognized that name...
***
After a while, Gallinum confirmed the child's identity.
"He has my face, that's for sure. Wait, why the hell did you bring him in the first place!?! Mortal or not, this is-"
"Oh, be quiet! This has nothing to do with you-"
"HE'S MY KIN! OF COURSE I WOULD BE INVOLVED!" Gallinum screamed back.
"What's with all the noise?" Alissia soon floats in,
"OH GREAT! Thank you, bastard, you got Hurricane Katrina involved!"
"HUH!?! Listen here, meathead, it's not like I can control my human desires!" Gallinum defends himself,
"And you call yourself a Demigod!" Junala mocked him,
"Uh..." Basin is confused, widely confused.
"Come on, let's get you out of here. Cottoncloud!" Alissia calls for her black and white split cloud creation, the creation goes under and allows Basin to sit on it, making it float alongside her.
"So... You're Gallinum's boy? Hm... Has to be the second generation; you have his face, but everything else isn't his." Alissia explained, as Basin stared down, seeing the various islands.
"Wow..." He gazed in awe.
"You know, if you spend your days embodying a concept of the world... You might ascend into an Immortal when the time is right." Alissia explained,
"Immortal?" Basin is confused by that term. He heard it once but was generally confused.
"An Immortal is the first stage of becoming a God. There are three stages, with the second being a Demigod such as myself... And the first being the God of this realm. A being mighty much like my father!" Alissia controlled the clouds, shaping them into the people she discusses.
"Father? L-Like my grandfather?" Basin wondered,
"Yeah! See, you're smart as it is! What kind of education did you get?" Alissia asked,
"... I never had one," Basin explained,
"Ah... Hm, well, the kingdom isn't exactly nice on granting peasants an education..." Alissia soon thinks...
"Ah! I know, come on, lemme ask Alaric if he can be your tutor!" Alissia guides the pair to...
"Alaric!" Alissia said, as Basin's eyes sparkled once more,
"Wow..." He was awed, amazed,
"Flowers..." He comments,
"Alaric!" But Alissia kept on calling for him, as Basin wondered, as the flowers moved when he stepped, ensuring they didn't get crushed, water flowers all around the land... Waterfalls are seen in the distance, as...
"?" Basin encounters a pedestal.
"Hm." Basin looked on, as...
"!" When he placed his hand on the pedestal...
"EH!?! WHO DARE TOUCHES MY HUMBLE CREATOR'S THINGS!?!"
"EEK!" Basin is HORRIFIED, as Simulation looks around...
"Hm!?! And what's this puny mortal doing here!?! HM!?!" Simulation is curious,
"Simulation! Where's Alaric?" Alissia wondered,
"My humble creator!?! Why, he is off with his father, exploiting the lands of the Greek Gods!" He said,
"Great... They're beyond our reach. Oh well, Simulation, I want to ask you something." Alissia soon said,
"Y-Yes, Lady Alissia!?!" Simulation wondered,
"I want him to be tutored by Alaric, tell him of my request as soon as he comes back, alright?" Alissia asked him.
"Oh, right! Will do, Lady Alssia! But I got one quick question..."
"Hm?" Alissia is curious by it,
"Who's this puny mortal-"
"HE'S ALARIC'S NEPHEW YOU MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO!" Alissia shouts, as every Demigod seems to have a temper,
"EEK!!! R-RIGHT! I AM SO SORRY!!! AHH!!!" Simulation was horrified. Alissia gets scary when she's mad. Even scarier than Junala.
"Good! Now cut it out with the "puny mortal," you sound like Alaric.
"A-Apologies... But I am Alaric's post humble creation...!" He whined a bit, as Alissia shows him around... And eventually...
"Wait!" She realized there's someone else she can ask!
"ALRIGHT, TO IGOR WE GO!!!!" Alissia soon ZOOMS to Igor, the Demigod of Literature, the Avatar of Stories. If nobody's story is recorded, nobody can be remembered, and he's someone special who became a demigod via how he lived his life. He was an influential author who brought stories to life...
"Igor!!!" Said Alissia, as Igor is one of two godly beings who aren't Dominael's children, despite me saying he gave birth to 10! Lucky me for so many retcons, hm?
"Hm...?" An older-looking man is seen writing on paper with a quill,
"Ah, if it isn't the child of the winds... And who's this child?" Igor is the wisest demigod, the one who allows everyone's story to be remembered even if it's by one person, and therefore allows the person to exist in this world, run my arcana that can be easily controlled. Only Dominael can manipulate arcana to that extent, making Igor one of the most powerful non-god beings.
"This is Basin Goldhold. I am sure you heard of him-"
"Of course I did. For years, his story and history pique my interest." The man said,
"Basin Goldhold. Grandson of the great Demigod of the Sea, Gallinum. I am sure Poseidon would love to see you if he could." The older man wore a robe as old as his age perceives him.
"Thank you, Mr. Igor." Basin thanked him,
"Hahaha, don't be so formal, child. You're one of us, it's a celebration we should have! Drinks and meals with us, divine beings! But alas... The father of gods is currently in the other realm with his son at the moment." Weaving the air with a quill, a paper is quickly given words, as Igor's domain is a library filled with scrolls carefully labeled and marked by age, era, etc.
"You know, Igor, I think you should put your wide arsenal of knowledge comparable to Alaric's to use! I want Basin here to be educated on-"
"ALISSIA!!!" Roared Junala,
"EEK!" Alissia quickly hides behind Igor,
"YOU SNEAKY BRAT! You dare run off with my champion, huh!?!"
"Ah, Junala. Yes, this boy was freshly picked from the mortal world, hm?"
"Igor... Of course you'd come here... Yes, he is indeed my student. I want him back if-"
"Now, now, children. I think it's necessary for Basin here to learn of his origins before introducing him to the powers of arcana and war, hm? Besides... Did Gallinum agree to this?" Igor questioned,
"No, of course not. But if he can't even monitor his kin, I don't care if-"
"Now, now, no need to be violent, Junala. It's key that a warrior should be capable of composure. A warrior of the mind, should I say? Hahaha! What marvels the modern world can do with the work of the past." Igor had a special ability to perceive the past and future via his writings. His power is linked to three vessels, that is the Homer of the past and Homer of the future. The future Homer made the stories that came to life, the past Homer recorded such stories, and the present Homer then makes it reality via the other making it reality.
"But-"
"Come, now. Let us share a moment. Mind, I recall some stories of Dominael's conquest against Zeus, hm?"
"!!!" Junala's eyes widened,
"Y-You'd do that!?!" Junala ALWAYS wanted to hear of the conflict between Dominael and his twin brother, Zeus.
"Come, come, let us begin."
***
Back in the realm of the mortals...
"Thank you, Mr. Homer." Alaric finally found him, an old man similar to Igor.
"It is my pleasure to know people take an interest in my stories..." A blind man, he knew that his stories would be recorded someday.
"I will take my leave." Alaric finished, three books filled with stories beyond his wildest expectations.
"... He is so much like him and so much like me... Yet I am so much like him." Alaric said, as Dominael is seen floating above the world,
"Did you finish collecting?" Dominael wondered,
"Yes... I did, father-"
"DOMINAEL!!!" Roared...
"Oh, great." Dominael growls, as thunder crashes, and soon a man as tall as Dominael...
"U-Uncle Zeus!?!" Alaric's eyes widened in horror, being a god, Zeus was LEAGUES stronger than even Gallinum, who is the Avatar of Thunder.
"Brother... This is a pleasant surprise." Dominael stood in front of Alaric,
"You dare say that when we agreed to NEVER interact with our respective realms!?! Have you not learned a thing, brother!?!" Zeus was ANGRY, as electricity surged around his being,
"Yes, of course. But we're one of the same. We simply abide by laws, but they-"
"NO EXCUSE, DOMINAEL! I let it slide by him taking Atlas' daughter... BUT TO DARE COME AND GO AS HE PLEASES!?!" Zeus was rightfully angered,
"That's enough, Zeus!" Spoke...
"!" Alaric and the others turned to see two more gods larger than him but of similar size to Dominael,
"This has gone long for too long, let it go." Spoke the stoic Poseidon.
"Poseidon... This doesn't involve you-"
"I think this involves ALL of us, Zeus. Oh, greetings, Dominael." Then appeared the raging fires of the underworld, Hades.
"Hades..." Zeus growls, as these four have beef with one another... More so, Zeus is against the others.
"Why bother preventing a child who had nothing to do with us from not crossing over? For hundreds of years, those dramatic times died out alongside our loves. Let it rest." Hades explained, as Zeus glared at all three,
"You dare try and forget the past!?! The past of-"
"That was almost a thousand years ago, Zeus," Dominael said,
"I left the curtains open for you to cross over... I didn't think you'd keep your mouth shut."
"Tsk!" Zeus growls,
"LEAVE! Before I lose my temper!" Zeus ordered, as Dominael stared, before soon gesturing to his son,
"Come, Alaric. Let us go back." Dominael ordered, as they eventually leave and head back into their realm. Since then, 5 days have passed, and since then...
"A warrior mustn't let slip their blade, that means death to you, and dishonor on your grandfather!" Junala was training Basin in the art of war.
"!!!" Simulation then felt...
"MY HUMBLE CREATOR!!!" Simulation rushes to...
"My humble creator! It is I, Simulation, your-"
"Hey, Simulation," Alaric said,
"Give me a drink..." He ordered, a bit tired after that.
"Master, welcome home." Ollie soon appeared,
"Ollie, it's a pleasure to see you again," Dominael smirked,
"You flatter this lowly creation, master." Ollie bows their clay head slightly.
"Hm?" But Dominael noticed the smell...
"Dionysus' wine, correct?" Dominael wondered,
"Yep." Alaric waves his hand as the arcanic water pushes a jug into Dominael's hand,
"Hehehe..." Dominael smiled... Drinking from the large jug.
