The first day in court had indeed turned out to be in favor of the plaintiffs. It was literally Mara's testimony that had made everything clear. There was no form of argument nor acts by the attorneys proving themselves wrong.
It went well, and it was certain...

"Everything went well, kudos to you," Naylah told Kurtis, her face bright and relaxed.
"It's just the beginning. We are ready to make Gregory lose every bone in his body to make him pay for what he has done to your family. With that evidence clearly proven, they are the losing side," Kurtis said, giving a confident nod.
Naylah also felt the same way and nodded. At this point, she was more hopeful than before, more relieved than the actual moment she stepped into that courtroom.
There was a different feeling now, and she was glad.
