'I need to do something...'
The injury on his stomach was worsening with the seconds.
The problem is he can't do anything about it. Closing the wound would be impossible with the equipment he had, which was only a sword.
Gritting his teeth, he summoned the runes of his new armor.
Memory: [Nightfall Armor].
Memory Rank: Awakened.
Memory Type: Armor.
Memory Description: [A curse of darkness consumed them all, bringing upon an eternal night.]
Faraam would love to theorize about the description of the memory, but he was unfortunately dying.
Finding nothing helpful, he summoned the Nightfall Armor.
And after a few seconds, it materialized on him.
'What? How does that even work?'
The Nightfall armor was a dark armor covering his body from head to toe. With tattered clothes covering his lower body and two layers of dark grey plate covering his chest. The pauldrons were broad and jagged, but the most eye-catching was the helmet, which covered his whole head without even slits for him to see, yet Faraam could see and breathe easily. From the back of the helmet, dark, long hair covered his neck.
{Nightfall Armor picture.}
'An armor that only protects vital parts and sacrifices other parts for maneuverability.'
Well, that works well with how he fights.
The only thing that remained was to figure out the armor enchantments, and Faraam had already figured one out.
'I'm healing...'
Indeed, his body is healing faster, not close to regeneration, but not too far either.
With all of his remaining power, he stood up and started walking toward the hill he stayed on.
The body of the demon most likely will vanish tomorrow with the dark sea, but he didn't care about it.
The soul shards were useless to him, and he had enough food on the hill to survive for a few days until he healed enough to continue his journey.
Sighing, Faraam glanced at the fake sun. The description of the Nightfall armor was still on his mind, but for now he doesn't want to think about it.
He needed to return before the dark sea rises.

Three days had passed since he killed the Scythe demon. Sitting on top of the hill, Faraam glanced at the fake sun.
After three days of healing, he passed the critical state, and he could say confidently that he won't die.
He also figured out two other enchantments of the Nightfall armor.
The first one, which he called it, Self-repair, simply meant the armor could repair itself even if it wasn't in his soul sea. The second one, Blessing of the Night, made him stronger and faster and able to heal faster when there was little to no light.
Faraam was very satisfied with his armor, especially with the Blessing of the Night.
Taking his sight from the fake sun, he summoned the description of the Nightfall armor.
Memory Description: [A curse of darkness consumed them all, bringing upon an eternal night.]
He had a lot of questions. Who are "them"? What is the curse, and where did it come from? How could there be an eternal night when the sun is still in the sky?
A lot of questions without any answers.
Well, it was always like that. There was nothing he could do about it.
'It will take around four days for my injuries to fully heal.'
Good thing he hunted some Scythewretches before he fought the demon.

Five days passed in an instant.
Faraam didn't do anything other than eat, sleep, and take a shit somewhere far from his hill.
Just like he predicted, he healed fully in four days and took a day to be ready to leave the crimson forest.
Standing at the end of it, Faraam sighed.
He really wanted to dig a grave and bury himself.
In front of him was a chain of mountains.
Well, it barely passed the height to be named a mountain.
The problem wasn't the mountains themselves. Actually, he would be happy to see it, as he would have a place to hide from the dark sea in the night.
The problem is... he wouldn't be the only one hiding in the mountains.
In the past three weeks, Faraam only met around twenty abominations. Which was very low considering he was in a place not part of the human territory.
That was because of the dark sea, of course.
Then how would a place that the dark sea would look like?
Shivers ran through his spine.
Awakened, Fallen, and maybe even Corrupted nightmare creatures would take the mountains as their nests!
"This is bad. No, this is the worst!"
Faraam scratched his head with both of his hands, trying to figure out a solution.
Walking to the end of the chain of mountains would be impossible, as he would die from either the dark sea or form hunger.
Not to mention how time-consuming it is.
Going blind to the mountains was pure stupidity, as he would become mere food for the nightmare creatures.
But is there another way?
"I should check around and see if there is another way..." He muttered.
***
There wasn't. Not a single route. Everything was blocked by the mountains.
That's why Faraam ventured inside, walking between the slopes of the mountains.
He was sure that the horrors he imagined were waiting for him in the center of the chains, but Faraam didn't care.
Why? Because he will take the long way. He won't walk into a place until he is sure there is no danger, and if there is, he will make sure he survives such dangers.
Clutching his hand, Faraam glanced at the unknown.
How much he hated going blind. Everything he did in his life was perfectly planned until he was infected with the Spell.
For the first time he met the unknown, and how much he feared the unknown.
Faraam glanced up at the grey sky and entered the chain of mountains.
