The day before yesterday, she hadn't slept at all. Then yesterday, she couldn't sleep either because of her grandmother's situation.
Now, Rachel felt like her legs were made of jelly as she walked.
After a while, as she brushed past someone, she stumbled and fell straight to the ground.
Luckily, her clothes were thick enough, so it didn't hurt that bad.
Just as she was about to get up, someone quickly rushed over and helped her. Rachel looked up, and it was George.
"What are you doing here...?"
"My car's parked by the side of the road. Let me give you a ride home," George said.
Even though she'd already refused him earlier, he still couldn't stop worrying about her.
So, he had secretly followed her in his car.
"No need, I can get home by myself," she said.
"You literally just brushed against someone and fell. How can I let you go alone like that?" George insisted. "My car's right there, and if we keep standing here like this, the traffic police might give us a ticket!"
