Kranos hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. He earnestly wanted to get his hands on the books on arrays, formations, talismans, and alchemy, but he didn't know how to go about it. Kevin seemed to notice his hesitation.
He turned to Kranos curiously. "Are you interested in any of them?" Kevin looked stunned as he stared at Kranos, noting his expression.
Kranos nodded faintly. Kevin's eyes widened slightly. The elders stared at Kranos in slight surprise too, their frowns deepening. Ignoring their thoughts, Kevin spoke up.
"If that is the case," he turned to the elders, then continued, "since you elders want the books from the royal treasury, why don't you give Kranos a chance to study, alongside your disciples, whichever side profession he wants?"
