Chapter 107 - 106: Starlight Media In Trouble 2

---

Fang Zemin stared at the video for three whole seconds before he erupted.

Bang!

The tablet flew from his hand and slammed against the table, skidding to the edge.

His face was flushed with fury, and his voice thundered through the meeting room.

"FIND OUT !!! FIND OUT WHO POSTED THAT!"

Everyone jumped.

Jiang Xueyi shrieked as her hand knocked over the bowl of soup she'd placed on the small table, nearly scalding herself—if not for her assistant's quick reflexes.

Lin Weichen, who had previously leaned back like he didn't have a care in the world, stood up sharply, the phone slipping from his fingers onto his chair, eyes slightly wide.

The casual arrogance was gone from his face, replaced by fear and disbelief.

Zhao Rui slowly reached for the tablet and picked it up, her fingers shaking.

Her throat dried as her eyes took in the footage.

The footage on the tablet was unmistakable—grainy but clear enough.

A security camera video, timestamped three years ago.

It showed Fang Zemin himself, seated in a dimly lit VIP suite at a luxury hotel, alongside the esteemed Director Gu Yanchuan—nicknamed "The Justice Man" of the entertainment world—and the notoriously selective Investor Su Xian, who only backed sure-hit films.

And seated between them, visibly uncomfortable, were two young girls.

One of them was Xu Jiaqi.

The other… was a delicate and nervous girl, clutching the hem of her dress tightly.

In the footage, Fang Zemin could be heard coaxing the girls, pushing drinks into their hands.

"Just a few glasses, girls. This is your chance. One film and you'll be stars."

Xu Jiaqi clenched her fists. "I don't want it like this."

Yan Qingsi added, her voice quivering, "Please… we want to go."

Su Xian leaned forward, grabbing Yan Qingsi's wrist. She tried to pull away, but his grip was tight. Fang Zemin sneered.

"Ungrateful girls. You think fame comes cheap?"

Xu Jiaqi stood up quickly, shoving Lu Xian off her friend. "Let go of her!" she snapped.

Beside her, the girl was shaking, clearly terrified.

Xu Jiaqi held her arm standing in front of her. "We're leaving."

Fang Zemin grabbed a drink and approached her with a dark glare. "Don't be stupid, Xu Jiaqi. This is how things work. We all did our part. You think talent is enough?"

Xu Jiaqi pushed him hard. "Then I'll rely on myself."

She pulled Yan Qingsi by the arm and stormed out.

Fang Zemin's voice was cold with fury.

"You'll regret this, Jiaqi! I'll bury you so deep you'll never get a commercial, let alone a film! You'll be lucky to book a shampoo ad!"

The video froze there, Xu Jiaqi's back shielding Yan Qingsi as they fled.

Zhao Rui's hand shook as she lowered the tablet.

Whoever had leaked this video wasn't just targeting Starlight Media.

They wanted to destroy Starlight Media.

Fang Zemin noticed her hesitation and exploded again.

Thwack!

A folder flew across the room and slammed into her shoulder.

"WHAT ARE YOU STANDING THERE FOR?!" Fang Zemin's furious voice exploded. "MOVE!"

"Aahhh!!"

Zhao Rui yelped and dropped the tablet.

It hit the ground with a loud crack as she fled the room.

The atmosphere was heavy.

Even the air seemed afraid to move.

He turned to the PR Director, who had gone ghost-pale. "I want this off every platform in three hours. Scrubbed clean. I don't care if you have to threaten the media or bribe them. If I see this on one more site—!"

"Y-yes, sir!" the PR Director stammered, grabbing his phone, already dialing numbers with shaky fingers.

Fang Zemin turned his burning gaze on Lin Weichen and Jiang Xueyi. "You two—OUT!"

Neither dared argue.

Their managers grabbed their things, pushing them toward the door, assistants in tow.

Once the room was cleared, Fang Zemin slammed his palm down on the desk with a roar of frustration.

"I'll find whoever leaked this, and when I do, they'll WISH they were never born…"

---

Meanwhile, the internet was melting down.

Just as netizens were recovering from the first wave of scandals, this new footage dropped—and it was catastrophic.

If the earlier scandals had set the internet ablaze, the new footage was a full-blown inferno.

The leaked CCTV clip spread like wildfire across all social media platforms.

Within minutes, it was picked up by bloggers, entertainment outlets, and even international news.

They were digesting the drama of Jiang Xueyi and Lin Weichen!!

Now...

It was their CEO.

Fang Zemin.

And not just him—Director Gu Yanchuan and Investor Lu Xian too.

The footage of them forcing alcohol onto two young actresses exploded like a firecracker in a gas station.

@PinkUFO: "THAT'S JIAQI?! OMG. I knew something shady happened back then! My queen!! No wonder she disappeared three years ago."

@StarrySkyJiaqi: "She was being harassed?! This is WHY she disappeared?? I'm shaking. This industry is hell."

@nightsparrow: "That's… that's Yan Qingsi beside her. Didn't she DIE last month?"

@filmnerd88: "I remember when they said she died of low blood sugar. SHE WAS 22!! Are you kidding me?"

@actorchaser: "Starlight Media needs to be burned to the ground. How many more girls went through this?" Never supporting anyone under that agency again."

@xinxi_fanclub: "This reminds me of Xinxi's story too. How many actresses are going through this and no one says anything?"

@lovexinxi: "Xinxi became mentally disabled and is currently in a mental hospital. Don't tell me they're related!!"

@CEOtrash: "Fang Zemin should be in JAIL. What kind of monster threatens women for refusing to drink?!"

@AnonymousLeaks: "Whoever leaked this—thank you. The industry needed this reckoning."
