"I am sorry father for all I have cost you." She begged. Astria was surprised to hear Broderick call her his daughter and this was what triggered her to come back
"You don't have to be hard on yourself darling. You did what you believed was best for you." Broderick said, stretching out his hands and reaching for Astria's own. It was a surreal experience, getting to hold the hands of his daughter once more. It made Broderick really feel emotional.
"I was careless to have let you go. I mean claimed to be my daughter and on two separate occasions I didn't believe you. I feel totally guilty." Broderick admitted, while Astria rubbed his hands gently a mechanism to sooth his guilt countenance.
