Broderick was thrown into a dungeon, a very horrific place that Alaric had specially designed within the jurisdiction of his mansion. Alaric believed it was going to be highly stupid of him, if he ever allowed Broderick to die so easily. Nothing would be more invigorating than seeing Broderick beg for mercy. Alaric hired Astria to look after his feeding.
Days turned into months and Broderick Alessandro was beginning to loose weight, due to the fact that he was given only a certain meager of food. At some point in the dungeon, Broderick developed a strange sickness, which totally forced him to not be able to speak.
Whenever Astria stepped foot into the dungeon, she felt bad seeing the state of condition Broderick was in. She could see the hate he had for her, written across his face, but there was nothing she could do. Astria kept on reminding herself that she ought to do what to be done, for the purpose of her son.
