Astria POV
My heart was racing as I dashed into the room to get hold of my child. The necklace was glowing on his neck signifying the dangers ahead.
"Babe!" Alaric called out and pulled the door opened.
"What?" I asked.
"Close the window...." But it was too late.
Fire burst through the windows causing everyone to fall to the floor.
I held my child tightly in my hand. "We need to get out of here!" I screamed to him.
Jason rushed to the bed and gently pushed it to the side. Underneath the floor is a tunnel and he pushed through the doors and it opened.
"This tunnel has been here for several years. It is time to make sure that we use it. Go in with the baby."
"And leave everyone to die out here?" I asked.
"We both know Lyra is coming for the child. Dawson and I will try to bring the creature down."
Another explosion hit the foundation of the pack mansion and caused me to fall down. My baby was crying.
