When the door broke down with a loud thud in the lonely cold night, my eyes widened with astonishment.
I watched the prince casually step over the door like it was nothing, worthless, and he turned back to me with his red eyes boring into me.
His red eyes flashed with a cold glint like a blade, his voice soft as a wind, "Are you coming in?"
Without a word, I looked around, praying no one heard or saw it, but it was dark. I turned back to the prince and followed him in.
The light enveloped the unfamiliar room, and the room was empty and silent until a shocked voice cried out.
"M—My prince!"
I turned back to the voice. It was the vampire, Lila, wearing a night robe around her body like she was woken up by the sounds. Her lips dropped open in surprise.
When she realized her attitude, a hint of fear flashed across her gaze. She bowed her head before the crazy prince, and her words gritted through her teeth, "May I ask why you broke into my house, my prince?"
