Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: New World New Me

As I open my eyes the first thing I notice is the fact that I'm falling in the air my body was rushing downwards through the sky. I also noticed the fact that Stan is nowhere to be seen. As a natural reflex, I call out his name, "Stan you there?" He doesn't respond. {He must have been summoned somewhere else} I think. But suddenly I remembered that I was falling to my death, as I called out to myself, "Ciel, you there?" {Yes Rimuru-sama. Currently loading ways to survive this fall. Loading complete, suggesting to use multi layer barrier and slime form to survive fall.} "Thanks Ciel." Thinking fast, I use multi layer barrier and turn into my slime form, landing right in front of Rudeus as what seems to be a gorilla girl tightly grips his arm, and as I turn back into a true dragon, I let my aura spike as I say, "Unhand him you filthy gorilla!" She turns, and in a rage she charges at me only to hit face first into my multi layer barrier, and falls right on her ass, she gets up and throws a straight punch at my barrier just to do no damage. As she continues to hit it with all her might I turn to Rudeus and kneel before him and say, "Sir, please allow me to serve you." He looks down at me and asks, "Who are yo-" Before he finishes his sentence, Fitz comes out of nowhere and breaks my multi-layer barrier, allowing the gorilla girl to finally land a hit, only for the bone in her hand to snap in half. I turn to Fitz, and as he looks at me I teleport right to him and say, "Nice to meet you Master Fitz." he looks at me surprised and asks, "You aren't mad that I shot you?" With a small smile, I respond, "How could I be mad at my master's childhood friend?" He stares in surprise and asks, "Y-you know about that?"
