Lily didn't know what she was going to say about it, there was no way she would have expected that there was a chance that he would know her late father and there was another chance that he knew more about her than she expected.
"You're suddenly quiet," Lucien had a smile on his face, there was nothing that would have braced Lily for what he had to say.
"There is so much I know about you that makes it hard for anyone to think I don't have the upper hand here."
Lily didn't mutter a word, she was only looking ahead trying to make sure that nothing was going to round her up together with him that way.
"I know you think I am some kind of monster, for reasons best known to you." Lucien continued, he didn't want anything to give her the creeps or bring up questions in her head at the moment.
"But I want to let you know that the only reason why I will not hurt you is not because I love you or because of one messed-up reason but because I plan on making things make sense soon."
