The Vision That Changes Everything
**Arin's POV**
The scream that tore from Rowan's throat made my blood freeze.
I spun around from where I was crouching beside Siena's unconscious body to see Rowan doubled over, his hands clutching his head like something was trying to split it open. His eyes had rolled back, showing only white, and his whole body was shaking.
"Rowan!" Kael shouted, running to his brother's side. But when Kael tried to touch him, Rowan's body went rigid and he let out another terrible scream. This one was different though. It wasn't pain – it was pure fear.
"Don't touch him!" Elder Mava warned, hobbling over as fast as her old legs could take her. "He's having a vision. A powerful one."
Jaxon looked between his brothers with fear in his eyes. "What kind of vision makes someone scream like that?"
Elder Mava's face was grim. "The kind that shows a future so terrible, the mind fights against seeing it."
