Chapter 11: | A Huge Secret
---
Samantha stayed silent for a while, resisting my command.
But soon, tears started flowing from her eyes, she opened her mouth and confessed everything.
The Sigil of Absolute Fealty was, after all, absolute.
"It all started from the very first calamity of this world..."
Samantha tried to cover her mouth as she cried, her body trembling.
"Those beings calling themselves the World Council..."
She tried everything she could, punching at me while sobbing, but her movements were weak, devoid of true defiance.
I pressed for more.
"Continue."
Samantha cried, unable to defy my order any longer.
"Those beings killed us, tortured us, then offered us to the world so that dungeons could be created."
I nodded, retracting my order.
Samantha's knees gave out, she kneeled and cried, a broken sound.
"I see. So this adds another reason for me to destroy the world."
Then, silence.
Samantha's crying stopped as she slowly looked up, only to see a cold and calculating grin from the man she liked.
A shiver ran down her spine.
She felt it in her bones that this man could abandon her if needed.
But then, his face became warm in the next second as he gazed at her and smiled, as if none of that had happened.
Samantha was scared, but she was soothed by a voice so calm and gentle.
"Don't worry, as I, Alister von Fai, won't abandon you."
Samantha was relieved.
Defenseless, she hugged the man before her, sobbing and recounting what had happened.
Hours passed as I calmed her.
I brushed her hair, massaged her body, and she rested her head on my lap, finally stopping her crying.
"Finally, she's asleep."
The demeanor I displayed earlier wasn't what I truly felt from hearing her past.
My eyes twitched, and my face was as cold as a glacier itself.
It had been hard to suppress my killing intent, to kill and butcher my someone alive.
"Those damned bastards! How dare they sully my beautiful wife! You World Council, or whatever you are! Mark my words, I, Alister von Fai, will make you live worse than a fucking worm!"
I vented, then panicked as Samantha stirred.
"Shh... shhh, sleep please, and don't wake up."
Luckily, Samantha wasn't awakened by my rumbling.
"Phew, a crisis avoided. Now, let's find the ingredients needed."
Samantha smiled, as his pressence dissapeared, then giggled like a fangirl before her face turned solemn.
"I truly didn't want you to find out."
Samantha closed her eyes as she sighed.
"Is this truly the fate of us? To suffer from those beings?"
---
Meanwhile, down in the abyss, the scent of blood and death could be smelled from a distance as flora, living their daily lives, were plucked out.
"This amount should be good."
The forest of kelp, mountains, grasses, and flora swayed as a ghostly entity flickered with every step.
I sighed.
Samantha should be awake right now.
Let me see the non-poisonous plants I gathered.
Hmm, a red vine, then seaweed, then a plant that looked like a cluster of eggs.
All of these were tasty, as I'd tried some of them earlier.
Now, let's see about her dress.
A black silken dress materialized before me, along with her undergarments.
I sniffed and couldn't help but shake my head at the foul odor.
Slowly, I washed it with my bare hands, with skills like I'd done this countless of times before.
How weird?
---
The night was dark as the stars shone through.
Below, on a certain cliff, a couple chattered as the man roasted the hind leg of a dragon and prepared a salad.
"So, tell me, why do you like the color of black?"
Samantha reminisced about the past.
"I think... that the color of black would suit me."
I pondered for a bit, glancing at the starry night sky.
"But perhaps something thinner or something similar would suit you better."
Samantha giggled as she pondered.
"Silly, do you think I don't know what you're thinking of?"
I chuckled as I remembered what happened earlier.
"What do you mean 'silly'? Aren't you the silly one since you bawled for hours earlier?"
Samantha pouted cutely, just opening her mouth.
I sighed as I slowly fed her.
"Okay, okay, I won't mention it, but don't you think it's just silly?"
Samantha's eyes twitched.
As I sensed danger and tried to dodge, but her fist still hit me in the head.
"Hmph... I won't talk to you!"
Samantha was cute, and I couldn't resist her when she was this cute.
"Then I won't feed you."
Samantha grabbed my hand, forcing me to feed her.
The night was filled with laughter as we bickered.
---
Days passed as I carried Samantha in my arms.
She just giggled and fed on a seagrass that looked like grapes.
Samantha giggled and petted my head as she fed me another sea grape.
I took a bite and chewed, its contents exploding in my mouth.
It was salty, sour, yet sweet at the same time.
Samantha patted me again like a dog as she whispered.
"Good boy."
I chuckled, unable to help but lick her neck seductively as I whispered.
"Do you like this dog?"
Samantha flushed red as she pushed my head away.
"Ahem... Now, let me tell you about the Overseer of the next floor."
Samantha instantly turned into her teacher mode.
"So, the Overseer this time is Cillian, an underwater beetle race known for their defenses that even the great Dragon Emperor would have a hard time breaking it."
I smiled, licking her neck.
"Delicious... so tell me, is it really that tough?"
Samantha smacked my head as she angrily complained.
"Don't interrupt me, hmph... And yes, that bitch is extremely tough, just like the first Emperor of the Whark armor."
I smiled, unable to help but lick her neck, then sucked it like a delicacy as it was too sweet and delicious to ignore.
Samantha let out a moan as she quickly pushed my head again.
I chuckled teasingly as I whispered.
"Why deny me when you like it? And really, why talk about that dead Emperor when I'm the Primal Emperor, the Emperor of the Whark?"
Samantha gasped, then gazed at me in disbelief.
"You're kidding, right?"
I shook my head as I continued to lick and suck.
Truly delectable.
"Well, I'm not kidding, and why would I lie?"
Samantha shook her head in disbelief as her hands probed my abs, then my muscles.
"Well, I'm just shocked since you're far weaker than the World Devourer."
I see.
So that's the previous Emperor's title.
How intriguing.
I would like to meet and devour him, but sadly, it's not possible.
Samantha continued as she whispered to me.
"And you're not as savage as what I heard and saw from the actions of those Wharks."
I sighed and chuckled.
"Hahaha! Is that truly why you couldn't connect me to them? Is it because I'm handsome, polite, and caring?"
Samantha giggled as she ruffled my hair.
"You jest? And what do you mean, 'polite,' when you're truly nothing but a pervert, licking at me like a dog?"
Samantha giggled as my face turned red.
So, I truly looked like a dog, and what she said earlier wasn't even a joke?
"Haaa... Now you're treating this handsome husband like a dog. Then, should I bark?"
Samantha giggled as she petted me.
"Maybe if I'm satisfied with my 'dog'... perhaps I'll grant it a reward?"
But then, a terrific pressure pressed down on everything, and a voice echoed.
"Samantha, it seems that you're finally free. Congrats."
Samantha giggled as her hands played with my hair.
"Thanks, Cillian."
I smiled as I waved my hand.
"Yo, I heard from Samantha that you're tough."
Cillian burst out into laughter as she pointed at Samantha.
"Samantha, you didn't even hesitate to share your sister's information with your husband? Really, what a backstabber!"
I chuckled at her way of words.
"Bwahahaha... Perhaps Samantha finds me too handsome and precious to die here."
Cillian chuckled as she stomped her feet, ready for a charge.
"Well, it's true that you're handsome... so be careful not to get hit in your face, pretty boy~"
Well, that's new for me, but everything has a first, I guess.
My legs tensed.
As I took a step, my body vanished and reappeared a hundred meters away.
"So this is my limit, huh?"
Then slowly, I put Samantha on the ground as I kissed her lips and savored her taste.
"Truly, you're just way too addictive, Samantha."
Samantha flushed as she tugged on my shoulder, then pulled my head lower as she kissed my forehead.
"I guess my efforts truly weren't in vain."
Samantha's lips curled into a smile as she fidgeted.
"Survive this, and... maybe I'll reward you..."
Well, this is a motivation!
A reward?
What could it be?
I couldn't help but get excited just thinking about it!
Then Cillian's voice echoed, angry.
"Hey, you couple! Stop showing your love to us single people! And quickly, fight me!"
My legs tensed, then I reappeared back in my position, unable to help but chuckle.
"Hahaha... This is fun."
Then killing intent exploded out of my body as my face became serious and my voice cold as the glacier.
"You can surrender right now... or don't blame me if I rip you apart."
