Amith's voice turned cooler. "Descendants of large families do indeed have better innate conditions than ordinary people, but whether they can become strong depends greatly on themselves."
"Talent and equipment are important, but they only set one on the path of a strongman. Ultimately, how far one can go depends primarily on a person's mindset and wisdom."
Lara's lips curled with a faint sneer. "Professionals differ from ordinary people, those with poor talent and lacking resources see little outcome no matter how hard they try."
As she spoke, Lara's gaze fell on Bhavin Agnihotri at the forefront of the crowd. "For instance, that student."
"Though he is of the Illusion profession, his actual utility might not even surpass a second-tier profession. Back then, Field Marshal Sam Bahadhr defied all odds to cultivate that Mechanic at such a great cost, wasn't that the best example?"
"Ten years of effort, easily destroyed by a mere ninja, all those resources Qinga invested only resulted in this?"
Lara shook her head, saying. "In recent years, Field Marshal Sam has become somewhat senile!"
Upon hearing Lara mention the Field Marshal Sam, Amith's face immediately darkened. Field Marshal Sam came from Qinga, a source of pride for all Qinga students.
But ever since the assassin from Country-P succeeded in targeting the Mechanic, Field Marshal Sam's prestige suffered a massive blow.
In particular, Btira Academy, Qinga Academy's competitor, had been suppressed for decades due to Field Marshal Sam's rise back then.
This incident gave Btira Academy even more grounds to criticize Qinga. And yet, the people of Qinga Academy couldn't retort.
They had ensured the Mechanic's safety with utmost vigilance, but who could have known how the assassin from Country-P managed to slip through countless checks and succeed in Telka City?
This matter was truly bizarre to the extreme. Faced with Lara's disrespect towards the Field Marshal Sam, Amith, although inwardly upset, could only endure in silence.
Below the stage, Sunil, who had just passed Btira Academy's evaluation, tidied up his disheveled hair and looked arrogantly at Bhavin Agnihotri.
"Bhavin Agnihotri, did you see that? This is the true Illusion profession, compared to your trashy Fake Illusion profession!"
Bhavin Agnihotri looked down with his eyes, nostrils flaring in disdain, with an expression that seemed to look down on the world, as if he had already reached the pinnacle of his profession. "You might be able to exploitbugs in the instances for a while, but can you do it for a lifetime?"
"In the combat type instances past level twenty or thirty, can you still exploit bugs so the enemies won't attack you?"
"Hmph, accept it, you're just a trash Mechanic, comparable to a sewer Fake Illusion Professional!"
People around cast gleeful gazes at Bhavin Agnihotri, eager to see him flee in shame. However, looking at Sunil's demeanor, a strong sense of mockery flashed in Bhavin Agnihotri's eyes.
He walked forward slowly, arriving at the Illusion Mirror of Btira Academy, sneering, "Tsk tsk, just passing a test and you act like this, someone unaware might think you've become a Hundred-level master already."
Seeing Bhavin Agnihotri still daring to retort, Sunil's expression darkened instantly. He was about to counter when, unexpectedly, Jannat spoke first.
Jannat's gaze swept over the Very Rare level Thetsa Venie Knife Melee behind Bhavin Agnihotri, revealing a hint of disdain. "Just passing a test?"
"Where does a Knife Melee wielding Mechanic like you get the courage to say such things?"
"Hmph, a newly awakened Mechanic, the most useless Illusion professional, with such strong conceit, dares to comment on others!"
Bhavin Agnihotri squinted at Jannat.
Jannat raised an eyebrow, scolding, "What are you looking at? The East Clear Empire's of Country-I declining international status in recent years is due to people like you who are not hard-headed!"
"Do you think a Very Rare level Knife Melee is rare? Wearing a piece of fancy gear just to attract attention? Hmph, after six years of classes compulsory education, you don't even understand the consequences of using weapons across different professions."
"You're simply a fool!"
"With someone like you, if accidentally caught in an Abyss Instances or combat type Instances, you'll probably be wiped out in no time, purely wasting the Empire's resources!"
Behind Jannat, Sunil felt secretly delighted by her words. He didn't expect this seemingly aloof sister Jannat to be so sharp-tongued, almost poking straight into his heart!
"Sister Jannat, don't say that, this Bhavin Agnihotri in front of you is Eatie Academy's long-term top-ranking super scholar, with a Spirit Power Value of an unprecedented 100."
"Who knows, maybe that Knife Melee has some extraordinary use?" Sunil sarcastically pleaded Bhavin Agnihotri's "innocence" on the side.
Bhavin Agnihotri gave Sunil a peculiar look, muttering to himself: Hey, is this guy's profession's passive skill "making serendipitous guesses?" Imust say, it's quite accurate!
Jannat glanced back at Sunil, with a flicker of surprise in her eyes, but then she indifferently said, "So what if you have full Spirit Power Value? Awakening as a Mechanic, even if your Spirit Power Value doubles, it's still a trash profession!"
"Mechanic wielding a Knife Melee, are you planning to practice the Vegetable Cutting Technique?"
"With someone like you, you won't last three minutes, let alone half a minute against my illusions, you'll be thrown out!"
A flash of coldness appeared in Bhavin Agnihotri's eyes as he looked playfully at Jannat, "Not even half a minute? Are you sure?"
Bhavin Agnihotri smiled arrogantly. "Hmph, for a trash profession like you, half a minute is already generous!"
Bhavin Agnihotri laughed heartily, took the Knife Melee from his holster, and strode towards the Illusion Mirror in front of Jannat.
With a flicker of his figure, he disappeared into the Illusion Mirror, leaving only a defiant taunt. "Frog in a well that knows nothing! The power of this fancy Knife is enough to bald your head!"
"Wow," came the sound, as Bhavin Agnihotri's declaration sent the surrounding people into an uproar.
Jannat was so infuriated her face turned crimson, and her delicate body trembled slightly.
