Blood dripped from Clard's entire body. He was completely exhausted. He had just defeated all the Ant Bees that tried to kill him.
But he managed to escape death. He looked up. Half of his troops were dead. As he looked around, the troops led by Gramn were in even worse condition. Almost 60% of his forces had been killed by the Ant Bees. Even though there were more Ant Bee corpses, this still felt like a defeat to Clard.
It was nothing like what he had imagined.
"What exactly are they? How could they be this strong?" Clard muttered.
It had never crossed his mind that they would be cornered by the Ant Bees. A mission he thought would be easily won turned out to be the most difficult one in his life.
Clard's eyes were still moving, and blood continued to drip from his wounds. He pulled out a potion and drank it. His body glowed for a few seconds before dimming again. Slowly, his injuries began to heal.
