"I'll just apply this to his wounds and hopefully, his fever will come down soon." I said to the maid who had been helping me out in the clinic since i got here. She had been the one collecting herbs and helping me mash them into fine powder that I normally use for the tonic. If it weren't for her, I'd probably have been exhausted by doing everything myself.
"Will he wake up?" She asked, tears gathered in her eyes. "He'll be fine right? What if he doesn't wake up after this?" She sniffed trying her best to reel in the tears but she failed because they just kept on rolling down her cheeks.
"He will." I assured her. "It's a deep cut but he's strong so he'll definitely wake up soon because he was brought here on time for treatment. You don't have to worry so much. Are you his sister? Or relative perhaps?"
