Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: Encounter

Shindai and the others were ambushed by two Jonin-level Rock ninja.

Thanks to the repulsive force from Shindai's Magnet Release: Magnetic Conversion, Kakashi directly eliminated one of the Rock Jonin.

Now, Obito used that repulsive force to propel himself toward the remaining Rock Jonin.

While rushing forward, Obito threw several kunai at the enemy Jonin.

The Rock Jonin drew kunai in response, blocking all of Obito's incoming projectiles.

Face-to-face with the enemy, Obito aimed his kunai at the Jonin's throat. Just as Obito was about to strike, the Rock Jonin suddenly kicked him away hard.

Obito tumbled across the ground and said in disbelief, "Why isn't this working like it did with Kakashi?"

Shindai retorted sarcastically, "As if you could actually kill him! You were slower than a snail compared to Kakashi just now. That guy is a Jonin. With his guard up, there's no way he'd fall for something so easily, idiot!"

Kakashi had already gotten back up and returned to Shindai's side, and after missing his attack, Obito did the same.

Fighting a Jonin alone would be both difficult and dangerous.

But with the three of them together? Just one Jonin? There's nothing to fear!

Shindai summoned Kannazuki, readying an attack alongside Obito and Kakashi.

Just as the three were preparing to charge, a crashing sound came from a distance.

They turned toward the source of the sound and saw many large trees fall as two figures burst forth from the forest.

Shindai, Kakashi, Obito, and Rin Nohara, who was hiding, stared with wide eyes, their expressions filled with disbelief.

It was Jiraiya!

However, those fallen trees weren't caused by Jiraiya himself, but rather by the person chasing him.

And chasing Jiraiya was Han.

Steam erupted from every vent in Han's armor, producing a sound like a roaring train. He ran fast in a straight line, knocking down every tree in his path as he pursued Jiraiya.

Seeing Shindai and the others staring in shock, Jiraiya was also stunned.

Concerned about Shindai and the others getting hurt, Jiraiya immediately stopped running and quickly formed hand seals before slamming his hands onto the ground.

[Earth Release: Bottomless Swamp!]

As Han continued advancing, the ground suddenly softened beneath his feet. Looking down, he saw the surface had turned into a swamp.

Before Jiraiya could continue his attack on Han,

a black rectangular block fell from the sky, heavily crashing onto Han who was stuck in the swamp.

This black rectangular block was Shindai's doing.

Regaining focus, Shindai immediately used [Magnet Release: Iron Sand Rectangular Block], creating a rectangular shape using iron sand and sending it to strike Han.

Someone capable of making even Jiraiya run must certainly be extremely formidable.

Plus, seeing Han's strange appearance, Shindai immediately recognized him as Han, the Five-Tails Jinchūriki from Iwagakure.

If Han decides to hunt them down later, it'll be a catastrophe. So when he saw Han sink into the mud trap Jiraiya had created, without hesitation, he acted first—crushing him immediately with a heavy strike.

Jiraiya watched as Shindai slammed and pinned Han beneath a massive iron sand construct. Immediately, he gave Shindai a thumbs-up: "Not bad, brat!"

Shindai completely ignored Jiraiya and shouted toward Kakashi, Obito, and Rin Nohara, who were still stunned: "That's the Five-Tails' jinchūriki! Leave him to Jiraiya-sama—we need to get out of here now! This place isn't safe anymore!"

After shouting, Shindai immediately turned around and ran off.

Jiraiya's lips twitched slightly. Although he originally intended for Shindai and the others to escape quickly, witnessing how resolutely Shindai left him behind stirred a deep sense of annoyance within him.

Kakashi and Obito looked at Jiraiya.

Jiraiya nodded his head: "That brat's right—you kids should run fast! This is no fight for you to get mixed up in!"

Hearing this from Jiraiya, Kakashi and Obito immediately grabbed Rin, who had been hiding nearby, and sprinted away.

Jinchūriki—they had only heard rumors about it before—it was a secret military weapon symbolizing a nation's power in war!

However, just after the four of them had taken a few steps forward, the iron sand construct that had pinned Han suddenly blasted upward and flew away.

Steam burst violently from every hole in Han's armored plating, and he directly burst out of the swamp.

Drenched in mud, Han turned his eyes toward Shindai, who was running desperately ahead, not even daring to glance back.

Once again, steam spewed violently from every pore in Han's steam armor. His target wasn't Jiraiya though—it was Shindai.

Jiraiya felt a sudden shock in his heart—he hadn't expected Han to chase after Shindai.

He slammed his hands together, activating the technique.

[Wild Lion's Mane Technique!]

Using chakra, Jiraiya extended his hair into a lion-like shape that tightly wrapped around Han.

But the power granted by Han's steam armor was immense. After getting entangled, Han forcibly dragged Jiraiya along for some distance until he barely managed to stabilize himself, pulling hard against Han.

Realizing he was restrained by Jiraiya's hair, Han did the opposite—he turned around and charged straight at Jiraiya. Steam burst violently from every vent in his armor as he rushed forward and swung at Jiraiya.

Alarmed, Jiraiya instantly released the Wild Lion's Mane Technique and swiftly dodged using his Shifting Body Technique.

Han's fist slammed into the ground, causing immediate cracks to form across its surface, creating a deep crater—revealing just how strong Han truly was.

Han then shouted toward that Jonin-level Rock ninja: "Tsuchiba, stop them!"

Tsuchiba immediately responded: "Yes sir, Han-sama!"

[Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!]

An earthen wall suddenly rose up in front of Shindai, blocking his path completely.

However, Shindai activated his Iron Sand Body, smashing through the wall and continuing his escape.

Tsuchiba continued unleashing earth-style ninjutsu to stop Shindai and the others from fleeing.

After Jiraiya released his grip on Han, Han lunged at Shindai again.

Jiraiya attempted once more to bind Han with the Wild Lion's Mane Technique, but Han's speed, boosted by his steam armor, was simply too overwhelming. Jiraiya was just a step too slow.

Shindai glanced back and saw Han charging toward him like a mad bull. His whole body froze in terror.

Damn it! Why are you looking at me like that?

Kakashi, Obito, and Rin Nohara saw Han rushing toward Shindai and shouted in unison, "Shindai! Run!"

Shindai was practically in tears. Did it look like he wasn't trying to escape? His legs were spinning so fast they'd start smoking, yet no matter how hard he ran, he couldn't go any faster!

As he fled, Shindai manipulated [Iron Sand Body] to gather over his shoulders, forming [Iron Sand Wings], launching himself into the air.

However, Han's steam armor released a powerful jet of steam, lifting him into the air as well—and his flight speed far exceeded Shindai's.

Shindai stared in terror at Han speeding toward him. "Don't come any closer!"

Just as the strange Kunai was about to strike him,

Minato Namikaze appeared right in front of Shindai and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to transport him beside Jiraiya.

Having barely escaped death, Shindai's heart pounded wildly as he stared around in shock and confusion.
