"Listen here, girl. We have a common enemy, and that's all. We are allies by convenience. Don't get the wrong idea."
Well, after everything that happened, it's no wonder she would have trust issues.
"It's okay. Let's partner up until we make her pay for what she's done to you and to everybody else."
I offer her my hand with a smile. She looks at it and then at my face.
"I know that I'm not the most trustworthy person out there, but you're able to see memories, right?"
She nods, unsure about what I'm trying to say.
"So, if you ever have any doubts about my intentions, I'll allow you to access them and see for yourself."
The widening in her eyes and the shock on her face are exactly the reactions I expected. And the very reason I've offered it in the first place.
My guess is that the goddess probably never allowed her to do that, so she would never suspect anything.
