Tristan woke up with the strong arms of the Alpha around him firmly, their bare skin touching reminded him of what they had done the previous night.
He pulled the cover away and tried to get away and that only made the Alpha's grip tighten.
Tristan gave up after a few trials and let him hold him. And he slowly went back to sleep with the Alpha.
When he next opened his eyes, the Alpha was gone and the door flung open causing him to pull the cover over himself.
"Tristan!" Mariah's excited shriek made Tristan shudder before he peeked out of the covers.
The news of his return had spread like wildfire and everyone was coming to confirm the truth.
"It's really you!" She exclaimed, pulling the cover away from his face to reveal his face.
"Yes," Tristan whispered back.
"It's good to have you back" She said and hugged him.
"No wonder he placed a guard at every metre of this place. You are truly back" she repeated and shook him excitedly.
