The afternoon sun was hot, scorching and just the way she hated it as she navigated through the veil between the land of the dead and living.
However, she soon forgot all about the burning sun when something else caught her eye. A scene— one which was happening in the land of the living.
And it was something she hated. The kind of thing she abhorred with every living fiber in her body.
A man, hovering above a woman.
She doesn't care what the hell it was that was happening, all she knew was that she didn't like what she saw. And she didn't like the way fear emanated from the weak woman like waves crashing against the sea shore.
Her fiery manes lit up, her blue eyes shining like bedazzling stars in the sky. And then she knew… she was about to strike. Just the way she hated it.
But something felt different this time however. Something didn't feel right. She felt like she'd found a mark. The other side to the coin which was her. Her flesh. One she'd searched far and wide for.
