Mrs Bai decided to check on her daughter in the room only to see Bai Xue styling her hair.
"Xue'er, are you going somewhere?" Mrs Bai smiled slightly.
"Yes mom, Liu Jiajun called in the morning, we are going on a date very soon. He said he'll pick me up by 5PM." Bai Xue blurted while glancing at the mirror. She didn't even realize she called his name informally which made Mrs Bai happy as her smile grew wider. She just got the sign that Bai Xue and Liu Jiajun already formed some sort of closeness.
"Alright, Have fun!" Mrs Bai exclaimed silently as her heart jumped for joy, feeling rest assured that very soon they'd be the happiest couple. She quickly entered into her room dialing Mrs Huang's number. Her eyes glistened while telling Mrs Huang what just happened. She never expected both of them to accept the marriage so easily since it's the 21st century, arranged marriage isn't much of a trend anymore.
Mrs Huang chuckled at the other side of the phone while listening to her friend. And somehow, she was relieved a little. Knowing her friend Mrs Bai is happy at the moment.
Soon, it was few minutes to 5PM and Bai Xue began to pace around her room after getting dressed up. She curled her black hair and left it to flow behind her back. She's dressed in a leather black mini figure- hugging silhouette dress paired with high knee chunky platform boots and her wine-colored leather mini bag.
She couldn't concentrate and began to think about how she'd stay in the car with Liu Jiajun. Still thinking of the awkwardness, Liu Jiajun's call came in. She stared at her phone for few seconds before picking up.
"Are you ready?" Liu Jiajun's thick voice asked. Bai Xue blushed slightly immediately she heard his thick voice on the phone.
"Yes... I'm ready, where are you?" Bai Xue wanted to confirm if he was just coming on his way or is already at the door while she pressed her lips together.
"I'm here at the doorstep, waiting for you." Liu Jiajun announced with a smile on his face. Bai Xue quickly stroll out of her room immediately the call ended. She went on to her mother's room to tell her she was going already.
Mrs Bai waved goodbye to her as if she was already sending her off to her husband's house, but Bai Xue grumbled at her mother's action and left in a hurry. She opened the door and strode towards the elevator. Bai Xue's heartbeat increased at once, she's already steps close to coming out of the building when she stopped again and practiced the breathing technique before going outside.
She beholds a tall moderate build up man standing beside a black colored sport car. Liu Jiajun is dressed in an elegant outfit of black turtleneck shirt and blue pant. His thin silver framed glasses rested on his eyes as he stared at Bai Xue with a slight smile that is visibly seen.
Bai Xue's eyes widened at the sight of the car as she moves closer she began to admire it even more.
Immediately she moved closer to where Liu Jiajun was standing, she blushed a little and smiled. They both stared at each other for a while before Liu Jiajun opened the door of the car for her. Next, he took the black colored coat on the chair and draped it on her shoulders in an elegant manner.
While he was doing that Bai Xue couldn't resist the urge of staring at his face as she admires the muscles on his arms and chest. She blushed till she entered the car and waited for Liu Jiajun to start the car.
Soon, they were already on their way to the restaurant he booked. Bai Xue stared at Liu Jiajun's face and admired him, with her eyes roaming round his body, she caught a sight of his Adam's Apple and swallowed hard.
"How was your day?" Liu Jiajun asked as he glanced at her and fixed his eyes on the road.
"It was good. And how was yours?" She asked with a smile.
"It went well" Liu Jiajun nodded as they made a stop in front of a large restaurant building.
Bai Xue thought they would be going to a restaurant at a more distant location but was surprised they stopped here. Next, Liu Jiajun opened the door for her to come down and stretched his hand forward for her to take it.
Bai Xue placed her hand gently on his and came down from the car smoothly. Liu Jiajun didn't let her hand go and instead held it till they were both escorted to the private room he booked for them. That way he felt Bai Xue wouldn't be shy and they would talk freely even better. Meanwhile Bai Xue blushed so hard her cheeks and ear turned red because she wasn't expecting Liu Jiajun to continue holding her hand.
Bai Xue thought everything was moving too fast but his next action shocked her as she widened her eyes. Liu Jiajun stretched out one of the seats and placed it beside the second one making it stay close to each other.
Bai Xue screamed in her head and bit on her lower lip. She would be sitting beside him instead? Her heartbeat instantly increased.
"Come." Liu Jiajun said as he removed the coat gently from her shoulders and allowed her to settle on the seat.
They both ordered for their food and waited for the waiter to come back. The awkwardness returned to the room leaving both of them smiling and glancing at each other. They both could somehow feel how attracted they are to one another.
"I thought you'd be very cold to me." Bai Xue blurted while staring at him with a slight smile.
"Was that your first impression of me?" Liu Jiajun smiled.
Bai Xue nodded in a cute way and smiled. "What about now?" Liu Jiajun waited for her to answer.
"It's getting better." Immediately she said that Liu Jiajun chuckled silently.
