Chapter 5 - chapter 4: Strange Game

Ela says nothing and turns her gaze forward.

Idris steps closer and says softly,

— "You know, I always tried to understand you… but you never let me."

Ela gives a faint smile and replies,

— "Out of the three foolish boys, you're the most complicated, Idris.

But why did you come after me?"

Idris stays silent for a moment, then murmurs,

— "Even your silence now feels like a wound."

Ela rises, brushes her hair to one side, and says in a calm voice,

— "I'm not here to play out any drama. I want to be the center of my own story now."

Idris asks,

— "Do you still love me?"

Ela looks him straight in the eyes and answers,

— "If love means trying to understand me, then yes, there's still a chance.

But if it means control or possession—then the answer is 'no'."

The two of them stare into each other's eyes for a moment.

Silence deepens, and the night grows darker.

Ela slowly turns away and begins to walk.

Idris remains still, realizing...

This time, Ela has truly changed.

---

Just as Ela starts walking away—

Suddenly!

Idris grabs her hand and pulls her back toward him.

Ela gasps in shock.

Her eyes reflect a storm of surprise and fury.

Idris's face holds that smile—

Chilling. Cold. Wrapped in an eerie darkness.

He whispers,

— "You still don't get it, do you?

You can't escape, Ela. You're inside a cage I built."

Ela's eyes blaze like fire.

She struggles to pull away from him.

— "Let go of me, Idris!

I won't drown between the man you were and the monster you've become!"

Idris stares deep into her eyes.

His terrifying smile widens.

— "You called us three foolish boys, didn't you?

But fools don't know how to play this game like I do.

You never even realized who's been controlling it from the start."

Ela slowly calms down.

A bitter yet brave smile forms on her lips.

— "What you just said… it's not enough to scare me.

But it's more than enough to expose your weakness."

Idris releases her hand.

His face hardens, and his eyes flicker with suppressed rage.

Ela walks away—this time without looking back.

Idris stands frozen… alone…

with nothing but the trace of a failed attempt hidden behind a mask of fear.

---

As Ela walks away—

Suddenly!

From the shadowy corridor behind, someone steps forward.

Firm, deliberate footsteps echo in the silence…

Slowly, the figure becomes clear—

Rafael.

His eyes burn with a sharp, fiery glare.

He stares directly at Idris.

— "Grabbing women from behind… is that your new habit now?"

Idris steps back slightly. His smile begins to fade.

Ela halts in her tracks.

A mix of shock, relief, and disbelief shines in her eyes.

Rafael walks forward and stands beside her.

His voice is calm, yet firm—

— "Ela, I'm here now. You're not alone in this darkness."

Ela opens her mouth to say something,

but Rafael looks at her and gently shakes his head.

Idris speaks coldly,

— "No matter how hard you try, I'm the one who makes the rules of this game."

Rafael replies—

— "You've forgotten one thing…

Some games only allow one final move.

And today—I've come with the last move."

The corridor lights begin to flicker…

The atmosphere thickens with an unknown tension.

In Ela's eyes now shines a new fire—

The glow of courage and clarity.
