Chapter 46 - Chapter 46

Xu Yuan's words served as a clear reminder to everyone: they must improve their strength quickly, because the guild won't support idlers.

Hearing this, the players exchanged glances and smiled, understanding his meaning. Even if Xu Yuan hadn't explicitly said it, they all knew they had to elevate their abilities and not let down the guild's future.

"Alright, everyone, go get busy with your tasks," Ken said. "I'll invite you to officially join the guild later."

The players nodded and dispersed, each heading to their respective activities.

After the crowd had dispersed, Xu Yuan turned to Ken with a curious expression.

"Who was the first to say they wanted to donate something?" he asked.

Ken thought for a moment before replying.

"I believe it was Wen Wu. I checked; he also recorded a video of the building site earlier. He's quite dedicated."

Xu Yuan nodded.

"This person can be cultivated. Keep an eye on him," he said.

Ken nodded in agreement.

"Alright, you go handle your tasks. Come find me later—I have something to discuss with you," Xu Yuan instructed before entering the house.

With the guild now established, it was time to begin implementing plans. The first priority was to secure the first kills of various monsters. To obtain the deed titles, different players needed to secure these kills, so trusting the right people was crucial.

Xu Yuan began gathering information on unclaimed monster locations and their spawn points. Once he had this intel, he planned to hand it over to Ken to manage.

He also possessed numerous land deeds and needed to scout suitable locations for establishing additional main cities— since multiple cities would help expand their influence across the vast game map. Many players were still far away, and setting up cities elsewhere would be strategic for growth.

Next, he needed to find miners. Although villagers could produce iron with iron farming machines— reducing iron demand—minerals like redstone, lapis lazuli, and diamonds remained essential. Xu Yuan didn't intend to spend too much time mining himself; he'd delegate this task.

He also planned to send teams to explore ruins, as treasure chests sometimes yielded valuable items. Additionally, there was a need to establish a Pillager Outpost— since villagers could breed and multiply, they'd require emeralds to obtain resources. An outpost would facilitate a Pillager farm, ensuring a steady supply of emeralds and totem of Undying.

Xu Yuan felt overwhelmed by the number of tasks ahead. Many projects could only be handled directly by him, and he knew he'd need to prioritize carefully.

While deep in thought, he noticed Ken walking in with a somewhat serious expression.

Xu Yuan looked at him with concern.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

Ken found a seat and explained, "I just found out that the Dragon Teng Union's land has been upgraded to level 3."

Xu Yuan was surprised.

"So soon?" he said.

He hadn't paid much attention to the upgrade after Long Teng obtained the title deed. Gold coins in the game were still hard to come by, and Xu Yuan had managed to upgrade the deed quickly because of the many first kills he'd secured and the rewards he received.

But it had only been a short time since the upgrade—how had Long Teng managed it so fast? And Xu Yuan hadn't seen any system broadcasts about a first kill recently; where was the extra gold coming from?

Ken nodded.

"I investigated. Long Teng is actually an old acquaintance of mine—he just changed his name in the game, so I didn't recognize him at first."

Xu Yuan raised his chin, signaling him to continue.

"In the previous game, he was the president of a top guild, which was always competing with my old guild. Now, he's paying various studios to help him generate gold, which explains the rapid development."

"I also heard he's hired a Think Tank to research this game, but I'm not sure if they've achieved anything yet..."

Xu Yuan was momentarily surprised. He hadn't expected such operations. But in this era of large-scale online games, many people relied on money to climb the ranks—many aimed to profit from the game's economy.

It was normal for a guild to make early investments to grow stronger and establish a foothold.

Ken saw Xu Yuan deep in thought and added, "I know a studio that might be able to help. Should I hire a few people?"

Xu Yuan smiled.

"Game development and operations like this are complicated," he said. "But right now, Long Teng probably doesn't even know how to set up a gold farming tower. As long as I build the Zombie Pig Spirit Tower, I'll have an Unlimited source of gold. No need to hire studios."

He patted Ken on the shoulder with a smile.

"I never spend krypton gold in games," Xu Yuan said confidently.
