6 years pass after the incident at the Dimension Dungeon in Holy Sword Manor. The Xuan Clan is peaceful as ever. As the day at the Xuan Clan's residence. Suddenly the ground starts shaking, and a huge wave of Qi comes out of a tower that is situated at a distance from the Clan's Residence. People start to head there and gather there. Suddenly the ground under the tower shakes as the ground gets torn apart and lava rises up and shapes itself as a tornado. Everyone watches in awe as a 15-year-old boy comes out of the lava tornado, walking in air. After some see his face, they bow down.
"We greet the divine child and flame prodigy of the Xuan Clan!" As one from the crowd says, others also say the same.
Shen looks at them and snaps as the fire tornado behind him disappears, but this causes a huge hole in the ground, and the tower is gone with nothing else there except for a big hole that goes deep into the lava of the earth.
Suddenly someone teleports in front of Shen. "Very good, Shen. Who would have thought you would become this powerful?" Says Shen's grandfather Xuan Yuan. "Seems like you developed a martial art based on flame, am I correct, kiddo?"
Shen smiles and says, "Yup, it's called 'Eternal Crimson Flame.'" "Well, we should head back." Shen looks at his grandfather.
"Sure thing, kiddo!" Shen's grandfather says as they both fly back to the Class residence and go to their house.
"Shen, you have a marriage arrangement. Last time they came, you were in seclusion, so, yep, they didn't get to see you. They are coming again tonight with the bride." His grandfather says as Shen goes into shock. "Your future wife is from the Wuan Dynasty and Ice Palace. She is a genius in Ice Palace with the title 'Ice Dragon' in Ice Palace. Pretty much a match for each other."
"Grandpa, is there any way to cancel the marriage?" Shen says with a nervous smile.
Shen's grandfather Xuan Yuan laughs and looks at Shen. "Of course." Stops laughing and looks at him. "Of course not."
"Yeah, it's no use even asking you," Shen says with a dead face. "It's probably you who even set this up. Aren't I correct?" Says Shen, looking at his grandpa.
"Ahem, I don't know what you're talking about." Xuan Yuan says nervously. "Anyways, be sure to stay prepared." After saying this, Xuan Yuan leaves Shen's room.
Shen takes out one of the demonic bones he got from the dimension Dungeon Trail from Holy Sword Manor and focuses on it as a red energy comes out of it, and Shen absorbs it. Shen opens his eye and realizes this energy is a dragon essence. Suddenly his body glows red as some of his bones are changed into dragon bones. Shen thinks that if he can cultivate it, he might unlock a dragon transformation, dragon soul, or inherited dragon skills.
Shen lies down in his bed, and the day passes. The scene shifts to the main hall of the Xuan Clan with Shen. After a while some people enter, and among those people Shen notices Irina.
"Irina! How are you?!" Shen shouts as he walks to her. "It seems like you reached the Early Stage of the Foundation Establishment realm."
Irina gives a playful laugh. "Seems like so. "You also reached the middle stage, Foundation Establishment Realm," Irina says.
"Oh, you two know each other?" Shen's father says. "Shen, she's your fiancée."
"Oh, Fia... fiancé??!!" Shen says.
"What, you're my fiancé?!" Irina says.
Irina's father, Wuan Wuyan, and Shen's father, Xuan Hong, both laugh. "You two should go somewhere else. Walk around the residence, drink, eat, and enjoy."
Shen and Irina nod as they both walk out of the hall. As they are walking, there is nothing but an awkward silence.
Shen finally decides to break the silence. "So you became a genius?" Told you that they will know you're a talented genius soon." Shen says. "And now my fiancée also."
Irina's face becomes red as she blushes. Then both of them go inside Shen's room. Shen lies down in his bed, tired. Irina laughs and then leaves his room.
In the morning, Shen gets woken up by his father. "Get your ass up. You will be heading to the Yang Clan. There is a competition where the genius of each clan will fight. Those in the top 10 will earn the right to enter a dungeon left by the Celestial God. No slacking off. Now get ready." Says Shen's father.
"Ahhhm. Send someone else, please?" Shen says, standing up.
"Say it again, and I'm going to make sure you go in seclusion for 40 years." Says Shen's father, knowing Shen hates to go to seclusion.
"Who said what? I'm going to get ready." Shen says as his father leaves the room.
After a few hours, Shen comes out prepared, and his father takes him out and shows him a flying ship. As Shen gets on it and waves bye, the ship starts flying towards the Yang Clan residence.
After 3 hours of flying, it reaches the Yang Clan residence, and the sky is filled with numerous ships. Shen looks down and jumps and floats down to the ground. Everyone watches as the mighty Xuan Clan is walking towards the Yang Clan's mansion. Suddenly some people block Shen's way. Shen looks at them, and it's none other than Zhen Zhou.
"Oh look! It's the almighty Xuan Clan. Oh, sorry, I remembered you getting nearly killed. How did that feel?" Says Zhou with a wicked smile. "Looks like you're quite a shit right now." Oh, what's that scar on your left eye? Oh, I remember, it's done by me!"
Zhen closes his eyes and reopens them as a huge pressure comes on them. Ordinary people around them get on their knees, and some even vomit. As Shen is about to attack Zhou, an elder from the Zhen Clan steps in front of Zhou. The elder is wearing a mask, hiding his face.
The elder looks at Shen. "I beg forgiveness of the great Xuan Clan. This kid here is foolish. Please forgive him. As for compensation for what he said, the Zhen Clan is prepared to give anything the Xuan Clan wants," says the elder.
Shen looks annoyed and takes away the spiritual pressure. "Elder of Zhen Clan, I suppose, I want 10 celestial crystals by the end of this competition," Shen says. "And if you don't deliver this by the given time, we will take that as a sign of disrespect and eradicate your entire clan without any hesitation."
"It will be done!" says the elder as he walks away with Zhou.
The scene changes to the Yang Clan mansion chamber, where the Zhen Clan is staying for the competition. Zhen Zhou is standing in front of his father, who scolds him for insulting the Xuan clan. After 2 hours, Zhou comes out.
"Young master, why so upset?" You can't attack them in public, but in the competition you can cripple him and say, "It's an accident," says the masked elder.
Zhou praises the elder, and the scene shifts to an arena where all the clans fighting to enter the dungeon will be fighting, and only the top 10 will be granted the permission to enter. Near the arena are sitting the patriarchs of the 5 strongest clans, including the Zhen and Xuan clans.
Everyone is excited when someone from the Yang Clan comes up on the stage. "I'm Yang Yulia. I'll be the host today. The rights to enter the dungeon will be given to those who are in the top 10," says Yulia. "The first fight is between the Xuan clan's divine child, Xuan Shen, and the Zhen clan's genius, Zhen Zhou!"
Both Xuan Shen and Zhen Zhou get on the arena as a protective barrier surrounds the stage. Both of them look at each other with wicked smiles.
"The fight starts now!" shouts Yulia as Zhou starts to laugh and rushes towards Shen.
Shen easily dodges his attack, and boom, uses Qi and punches him in the chest, sending him flying away. Zhou takes out his sword, which has a lot of runes carved in it. Zhou swings his sword as a dark purple beam cuts the air and starts heading towards Shen with terrifying speed. Shen snaps his fingers as a lot of fire petal leaves are summoned near him. All the petal leaves in one swing of Shen's fingers start heading towards Zhou's attack while merging into one. As all petal leaves merge into one, a burning lotus is created, which clashes with Zhou's attack and shakes the ground. Both the attacks, after clashing for a while, get destroyed, and Shen makes a fist as he, without hesitation, uses the 5th form of the 8-form elephants, which is a Chimera. The chimera rushes at Zhou, and Zhou imbues his sword with fire and again strikes, which is now a pure dark-colored beam that cuts Shen's chimera and is about to hit Shen when Shen again summons the petal leaves and gathers them around him as a lotus shield is created. The shield manages to stop the attack.
The shield vanishes as Shen jumps in the sky and stands there. Shen raises his hands and engulfs them in flames. Zhou also engulfs his hands with fire and starts to form an arrow. As Zhou is about to finish, Shen's hand flame extinguishes. The ground starts to tremble, and the part where Zhou was standing shakes heavily as suddenly that place breaks, and lava from Earth's core comes up and takes the shape of a tornado.
Shen looks at Zhou and smiles. As the lava drops back in the core, Zhou is seriously injured, and Shen takes out his Eternal Sword of Darkness and, in an instant, comes in front of him. Before Zhou can surrender, Shen stabs Zhou in his core and breaks it and takes out the sword covered in blood.
"I win," says Shen, looking exhausted.
"Xuan Clan! You dare cripple my son?!" Zhou's father, Zhen Wilkins, shouts, "Give me an explanation, or I'll kill you!"
Shen looks at him and starts laughing. "I mean, do you have the guts? And it was a mistake. What can I do if the Zhen clan can't even provide good enough armor to that brat?"
As Shen again laughs, Zhen Wilkins gets up from sitting and raises his fist as the sky darkens and a sword starts to manifest and heads Shen's way, but before it can hit Shen Xuan Hong teleports in front of Shen and, with one snap, destroys it. Xuan Hong looks at Zhen Wilkins and releases a shockwave from his body, which shakes the entire Yang Residence.
"Wilkins, you dare raise your hands on my son in front of me?!" Xuan Hong says
Xuan Hong releases his aura of Fake Immortal, and the sky cracked, the mountains groaned, and the Yang Residence trembled to its foundations.
"Kneel or die!" Xuan Hong says.
Wilkins, finding no one daring to oppose a fake immortal, is forced to get on his knees.
"I'm sorry for what I did. I beg for my life to the mighty Xuan Clan!"
Shen looks at him and nods. "See, you now know your place. Go fuck yourself." Says Shen as he casually walks away from the arena to the Xuan Clan chamber.
The stage where both fought is completely destroyed, and it takes them 2 hours to repair it. Then the competition continues, but no one dares to fight against Shen; thus, Shen wins first place easily.
Later, all the top 10 are gathered in front of the dungeon entry. "All of you listen!" Says an elder from the Yang Clan. "You can take as many treasures as you want, but if you die inside there, it won't be our responsibility. You will be given 1 week inside; you may come out early, but after the time limit, the elders will enter and make sure to get you out. That's all. Now prepare."
Each leader from each sect steps forward in front of the dungeon gate. All of them gather their Qi, raise their fingers, and get out a beam. They start to break the seal of the gate.
After an hour, the seal breaks, and a burst of gold energy releases from there, and then the gold energy gets replaced with dark and evil Qi.
