138. Chapter 138: A madman, a complete madman. She is more dangerous than Homelander!

The terrorist held a gun to Hughie's head, making him stand up. Then he patted down his pockets, but found nothing.

"Damn, poorer than me." The terrorist casually took off Hughie's hat and put it on his own head.

"Behave, don't move around."

After a warning.

The terrorist then walked towards the back, carrying his backpack.

"Just my luck, they took all the money I had on me." Hughie whispered to Mother's Milk.

Mother's Milk didn't speak. He frowned with a worried expression. If things went smoothly, they should be able to get off the train soon, but could reality truly match their expectations? He had no confidence in that.

As expected.

Bang! A gunshot rang out in a carriage further back, accompanied by the terrorist's roar: "Go to hell! If anyone dares to call the police, I'll blow their head off!"

In an instant, everyone was so scared they covered their mouths tightly, not daring to make a sound.

"We need to get off quickly." Mother's Milk looked around anxiously, preparing to find an opportunity to get off the train.

"Once the train stops, we can get off."

Hughie and Mother's Milk were positioned close to the train door. Hughie was certain these terrorists wouldn't stay on the train for long, because it was about to pull into the station. By then, they wouldn't be able to escape even if they wanted to.

"If I were Billy, I'd buy a plunger and suck that clogged brain of yours out."

"Don't forget, we're wanted criminals. If the train pulls into the station normally, not only will they not be able to escape, but we'll be caught too. And that's the best-case scenario. It'll be worse if the New York Police notify Vought to come rescue people. We have to pray the superhero who comes isn't Homelander."

Mother's Milk said urgently.

Fortunately, that group of terrorists also realized this. After stuffing their backpacks full, they rushed into the driver's cabin with guns, threatening the driver to stop the train immediately.

Soon, the train began moving towards a side track.

"Get ready to get off."

Mother's Milk pulled Hughie, ready to go. The moment the train door opened, the well-trained Mother's Milk shot out like a black panther. On the way, he subconsciously looked towards the sky, only to see a shadow flying towards him with astonishing speed.

"Get down!" Mother's Milk tackled Hughie to the ground, and then the two of them hid behind a cement pillar.

On the other side, the leading black man was urging his greedy subordinates to leave. "Idiots! The police are coming soon! Do you want money or your life!"

However, just as his right foot stepped out of the train door, a slender arm grabbed his neck and lifted him up.

"Die, you piece of trash!" Stormfront's fingers suddenly exerted force, directly crushing the black man's cervical spine. Then, she threw the corpse out like garbage.

"Stormfront! It's Stormfront!"

"Thank God."

"Oh my God, a superhero is finally here to save us."

"Stormfront?" One of the black men showed a terrified expression. He quickly dropped the gun in his hand and skillfully squatted on the ground with his hands over his head. "I surrender. Everything is in the backpack."

He originally thought Stormfront would spare him this way. However, what he didn't expect was a flash of lightning rapidly expanding in his pupils. Bang! As the black man was sent flying, the surface of his body was instantly carbonized, resulting in near-instantaneous death.

Seeing this, the passengers inside the carriage not only weren't afraid but actually breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well done! Stormfront, you're my idol." "Thank you for coming to save us!"

"Excuse me, has Homelander arrived? Did you come together?"

The passengers seemed to ignore the remaining terrorists and started thanking Stormfront all at once.

"You're welcome, it's our responsibility as superheroes. Are you okay? Don't worry, I'll take care of them." Stormfront smiled at everyone and comforted a little girl beside her. Her actions earned her another round of enthusiastic applause.

The terrorists present exchanged glances.

Since Stormfront wasn't going to let them go, instead of just waiting for death, they might as well fight back.

"Fuck you!" The terrorist fiercely pulled the trigger on Stormfront.

Stormfront didn't dodge. She spread her arms, as if welcoming the baptism of bullets. Bullets made of brass couldn't penetrate her skin at all. If you slowed down the trajectory of the bullets thousands of times, you would see that the moment they hit Stormfront, the bullet heads would directly flatten, then lose momentum and fall to the ground.

The terrorists kept shooting until all the bullets in their guns were spent. Utterly broken, they even wanted to make a break for the door.

"Hmph, trying to escape?"

Stormfront sneered disdainfully.

Then, several streams of lightning, like venomous snakes, struck the terrorists, instantly burning them to charcoal.

One of the black men was cornered with nowhere to retreat. After a roar, he lunged at Stormfront and, like a street hooligan fighting, bit down on Stormfront's arm.

The next second.

Outside the carriage, Hughie and Mother's Milk watched everything happening before them with terrified eyes.

With a roaring explosion! Flames mixed with lightning filled the entire carriage, then shattered all the windows and surged outwards towards the outside. The unimaginable heat instantly raised the surrounding temperature by dozens of degrees.

If the two of them hadn't been far from the train, they probably would have been roasted.

"My God!" Hughie's eyes were completely blank, and he kept repeating the two words.

"Damn Stormfront!"

Mother's Milk cursed resentfully.

He didn't believe that just a few hooligans could make the entire carriage explode. That kind of destructive power would require at least dozens, if not hundreds, of pounds of TNT.

"A madman, a complete madman. She's more dangerous than Homelander!"

Mother's Milk knew they shouldn't stay here any longer. He immediately pulled Hughie and quickly left. At this moment, Hughie still hadn't recovered from the explosion. It was simply unimaginable how many passengers had died in that blast.

Just as Mother's Milk and Hughie left, the unharmed Stormfront walked out of the sea of fire right after them.

Her expression was calm, without a trace of guilt, as if this kind of thing was completely normal for her.

By the time the police cars arrived at the scene, most of the officers there were shocked by the horrific extent of the terrorist attack. The police chief leading them couldn't help but tremble. He came before Stormfront and asked in a dry tone:

"Ms. Stormfront, can you explain what happened? As far as we know, you were a witness."

"I am truly sorry. I feel deep regret for those who died." Stormfront pretended to look downcast, then continued: "Just now, I had already controlled those terrorists, but I didn't expect them to have planted a bomb on the train. For a moment, I didn't react in time and was engulfed by the surging flames."

Meanwhile, fire trucks and ambulances had already begun extinguishing the fire and rescuing the injured.
