Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 – Group Pet

"Well, my name is Cu Chulainn. My martial soul is this spear, and I'm an agility-type spirit master," Cu Chulainn said, holding up his red spear.

"My name is Ning Rongrong. I'm a support-type spirit master. My martial soul is the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda," Ning Rongrong added, showing the glowing pagoda in her palm.

"Emiya. Spirit projection," Emiya said calmly, arms crossed.

"My name is Xiao Wu. My martial soul is the Soft Bone Charm Rabbit!" Xiao Wu said cheerfully.

"My name is Tang San, a control-type spirit master. My martial soul is Blue Silver Grass."

Everyone took a moment to look at Tang San. After all, Blue Silver Grass was a very common martial soul. But becoming a spirit master with it was rare. That said, since this was Shrek Academy, nobody reacted strongly. The academy accepted all kinds of strange martial souls.

"My name is Shirou Emiya. My martial soul is a strengthening type. This is my sister Illya. Her martial soul is a staff," Shirou Emiya introduced.

As for Basaka... well, he wasn't a student.

Poke!

Ning Rongrong gently tapped Emiya's arm with her finger.

"Hm? What is it, Miss?" Emiya asked, confused.

"That guy has the same last name as you, and you two kind of look alike..."

"Haha, that's just a coincidence. I'm called Emiya because Emiya is my last name. His name is Shirou Emiya—it's clearly different."

Emiya waved it off, then added with a smirk, "Besides, look at how mature I am, and look at him—he's like a little kid!"

While Emiya was busy making fun of Shirou Emiya, the others were more focused on Illya.

"Wow, so cute! Your name is Illya, right?" Xiao Wu said as she bounced up to her.

"Yes, my name is Illya! But don't be fooled by my size—I'm as strong as Basaka!" Illya said proudly, puffing up her chest.

"Yeah, yeah! So powerful!" Xiao Wu said, squatting down to praise her.

Illya was so cute that even Ning Rongrong couldn't resist. She walked over and started chatting with Illya too. Before long, the two little beauties were happily talking with the even littler loli, making for a very eye-catching scene.

Even Zhu Zhuqing, who had been standing quietly nearby, kept sneaking glances at them and seemed tempted to join in.

Cu Chulainn, watching her from the corner of his eye, found it amusing. He leaned close and whispered in Zhu Zhuqing's ear, "Miss, if you want to join, just go. Nobody here knows you. You don't have to worry about your image—"

Before he could finish, his lips brushed against her ear.

Zhu Zhuqing's ears turned red, and to cover her embarrassment, she stomped down hard on Cu Chulainn's foot with her long leg.

"Ow, ow! Wait—aren't we supposed to be taking a test?" Cu Chulainn cried out.

At that moment, Zhao Wuji, who had been standing off to the side watching all this, finally lost his patience.

"Excuse me? Are you all ignoring me?! I'm standing right here, you know!"

He cleared his throat and shouted, "Alright, the test begins!"

Even though the incense hadn't fully burned down yet, Zhao Wuji didn't care. He'd been a rogue for years—what's one more shortcut?

Everyone finally snapped out of their fun and remembered, Oh right, we're here for the final entrance exam.

"The Seven Treasures are famous, one is strength!"

"The Seven Treasures are famous, the second is speed!"

Ning Rongrong's pagoda shone brightly in her palm as she cast her boost spells. A wave of strength and speed flowed over the team.

This was the legendary Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda, known as the top support martial soul on the continent. Even with just her first two spirit rings—both hundred-year level—her boosts gave a 30% increase in strength and speed, ignoring the difference in spirit power between users.

Of course, the bigger the gap between spirit powers, the more energy it took from Ning Rongrong. But the sheer value of that boost was undeniable.

Everyone felt the change in their bodies and couldn't help but admire it. No wonder the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect was one of the top three sects.

"Hey, hey! Sister Rongrong, don't forget me!" Illya called out as she jumped up and down.

During the earlier introductions, Illya had already learned the names of Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, and as a child, it was natural for her to call Ning Rongrong "sister."

"Oh, right! My bad. Of course I didn't forget our little Illya!" Ning Rongrong replied with a smile, thinking Illya just wanted to play along like a child.

She didn't realize Illya was actually a student here. After all, she looked far too young—just a seven-year-old loli!

Still, since her support skills didn't cost much energy, Ning Rongrong boosted Illya too.

"Thank you, Sister Rongrong!" Illya said sweetly.

"You're welcome~"

Ning Rongrong smiled warmly, but in the back of her mind she thought, Why did it feel like giving Illya a boost took as much energy as supporting a high-level spirit master? No way, that's got to be my imagination. She's just a kid!

But Ning Rongrong's own imagination was her worst enemy, so she brushed the thought aside.

In a group fight, it was normal for the strong attack or agility-type spirit masters to strike first.

This time, they had two agility types.

So, Zhu Zhuqing didn't even look at Cu Chulainn—she sprinted toward Zhao Wuji with her long legs.

"Wow, someone's in a hurry," Cu Chulainn muttered with a smirk, then dashed after her. His speed was nothing to scoff at either.

As soon as Zhu Zhuqing made her move, the others followed suit and activated their skills.

"Blue Silver Entanglement!"

Tang San's iconic ability burst forth, sending blue vines weaving across

the ground.
