Two days later, the music forum received another anonymous post — a piece titled "Twins in Dissonance."
Yoongi recognized it instantly. The motifs, the syncopation, the internal dissonance that bled between minor and diminished chords — it was Jihoon. Clear as day.
But there was something hidden.
Y/N and Yoongi spent the night analyzing it.
Yoongi: "This isn't just a warning. He's luring us to a specific location."
The embedded tones were GPS coordinates, disguised as tempo markers.
Y/N: "Where is it?"
Yoongi: "The orphanage where we grew up."
The place was in ruins. Overgrown ivy curled around its windows, the gates rusted open like forgotten arms.
Inside, the piano room still stood — decayed, but intact. And waiting on the grand piano: a cassette tape. Labeled: "For Min Yoongi. Alone."
Yoongi played it.
Jihoon's voice crackled through the speakers.
Jihoon (recorded): "Hyung. You chose silence. I chose symphony. But in the end, we both played for ghosts. This isn't about Y/N. This is about you. I want one final duet. You and me. Public. Live. And no blood. Let the city decide who wins."
Y/N: "What does he want from you?"
Yoongi: "Validation. Redemption. Revenge. I don't know. But if he's dragging you into it, it means he knows…"
Y/N: "That you finally have something to lose."
