What if there was another Sorcerer? Someone who could truly challenge the Six Eyes and Limitless. Someone who could potentially change the world as well."
A/N: First part of an intended two-part/three part One-shot fic that chronicles an alternate turn of events between Chapters 90 – 136 until the Culling Game Arc starts. "GOJŌ-SENSEI HAS BEEN SEALED!"
If those five words were of any less significance it wouldn't have elicited the amount of various expressions that seemed to have spread across, and, form in the faces of the significant individuals in the world of Jujutsu Sorcery who heard it.
Shock, awe, anticipation, fear, doubt, excitement, happiness, rage; these emotions raged on as those five words echoed around the district of Shibuya, blaring in the ears of the ones in the know.
A conspiracy had been set. A major player had just been neutralized from acting. This was not what, one, Nanami Kento, expected to face so early when they had made their plans. This threw a big wrench in their expected outcome of this battle.
One of their big hitters seemed to have been compromised so early.
"Change of plans. You two come with me." came the urgent voice of Nanami. "We must all regroup with Itadori Yūji at once."
"But… sealed? Gojō-sensei?" one, Fushiguro Megumi spoke up, unsure about whatever he just heard in the echoing shout of his teammate Itadori Yūji.
Nanami spoke again, "Whether or not it is true one thing is for sure. If Gojō is indisposed of right now, it's all over for the humans in this country."

"Well it seems it is good night for you, Gojō Satoru. Let us meet again in the new world."
Looking down at the kneeling Gojō Satoru was, one, Getō Suguru, dressed in ornate Buddhist robes. A smile on his face, Suguru kept his gaze at the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer of the present day, tethered to various masses of stretched writhing flesh all around his mid-section. But it wasn't the Getō Suguru that Satoru knew.
"Heh, yeah, I guess it's a good night for me. Pretty sure I messed up bad today." Satoru started with a nonchalant sigh. "But it's kinda shameful for you isn't it, hmm?"
A raised eyebrow and a sharp twitch of one of the, fake Suguru's, fingers happened in a short instant as Satoru continued, "How is it that you're letting yourself sleep like that? Aren't you ashamed of letting yourself get used like this, Suguru?"
As soon as Satoru said that, suddenly fake Suguru's right hand moved to clutch at his own throat as his eyes widened for a moment. A few seconds later Suguru seemed to have a face of surprised shock written all over it as he wheezed and started laughing afterwards.
"HAhahA! No way! This is a first for me!"
"Getoooooo~" a singsong voice emerged as another figure came into view with greyish-blue hair belonging to a patchwork face and wearing a sort of rag or shawl that was black with black pants to match.
"Mahito, look." Fake Suguru replied as he turned towards the aforementioned figure, Mahito. He seemed to have recovered from the effects of the Domain technique that Satoru activated. "You theorized that the soul came before the body did, didn't you? Well, I feel like the body IS the soul, and the soul the body."
Mahito looked on with interest as fake Suguru continued, "Otherwise, this phenomenon right now, of the body's memories entering my mind even after changing the hosts, can't be explained."
Mahito raised an eyebrow as he spoke, "Hmm, but does it have to be the same for everyone? Considering the matter of both our Jujutsu techniques, you and I practically live in different worlds."
"So, techniques dictate our worlds, huh. Heh, heH" (("?" Mahito looked on)) "I like that thought. It is poetic."
Both turned to the still bound Satoru as he looked seemingly bored and indifferent to the discussion that was going on between the two. Fake Suguru seemed to sense something amiss as he watched the flippant attitude of the sorcerer before him. Satoru saw them looking at him with interest as he started to speak,
"Heey, let's just go and get this all over with. This is just getting uncomfortable now, y'know." he smiled as he continued, "I'm not enjoying looking at you two and this just gives me some break from all this nonsense. I'm looking forward to what is going to come next. Hehe."
Fake Suguru raised an eyebrow at that as he wanted to retort by sealing Satoru up now as their discussion and gloating was almost done. But that last line gave him pause for a moment as he briefly thought over what had the strongest sorcerer still be so confident and nonchalant. His mind went back to before when Satoru mentioned the name of the sorcerer who had an encounter with the real Suguru before the Cursed Spirit Manipulator was killed by Satoru.
The sorcerer in question was one, Okkotsu Yūta, a Special Grade Sorcerer himself.
'Putting your hopes on Okkotsu(?), that child is of no concern to me, what with the boy being a product of major trauma and lost family connections. Are you so sure about him like that, Gojō Satoru?' Fake Suguru reasoned mentally. 'Or is it something else entirely that you're banking on?'
"Well, I'm enjoying the view myself you see, but I suppose you're right as well." Fake Suguru couldn't help but say. "Whenever you'll get out, that is never, you may wish to see the world that is going to be dawning, but for now, we can't risk anything else happening now do we?"
But it didn't matter in the end. Whatever Satoru thought would be happening in the future, fake Suguru had all his bases covered. There was just no way that he, fake Suguru, had forgotten to fill any holes in his plans and thus, Satoru was almost fully sealed right now, kneeling in front of him, at his mercy. The plan had been executed perfectly. "Farewell, Gojō Satoru."
Fake Suguru chanted two words, "Gate, close."
Satoru grinned before he spoke two words as well just before getting sealed, "Shinkiri (Clear Water)."
Narrowed eyes followed the grinning face of Satoru as the masses of writhing flesh converged in on the sorcerer and then, a silent gust with the instantaneous shrinking masses of flesh signalled the seal was completed. Gojō Satoru disappeared with mirth in his eyes and was caged inside the cube that was the Prison Realm. A few shakes later, it flew out towards the hands of the fake Suguru as Mahito wondered out loud, "Clear water? What was that about?"
Mahito looked at fake Suguru who had been keeping an eye over the cube in his hand as Mahito further enquired, "We can't use that anymore now, right?"
"Yes, only one occupant at a time. Unless the person that is trapped inside takes their own life, it can't be used again." Fake Suguru replied still keeping watch over the cube. (("Boooring!" Mahito lamented as his face showed disinterest))
'Clear water, hmmm? Clear….. Water… Gojō Satoru, what did you do?'
Fake Suguru couldn't help but want to dig deep into whatever it was that was going to come out of the last two words spoken by the sorcerer. He knew something was amiss, from even the memories of the original Suguru as well. Now that he remembered, there were patches of memories that were missing; either sealed up or totally destroyed. Fake Suguru couldn't help but narrow his eyes at this as he felt some discrepancies in the original Suguru's memories.
This was troubling for the fake Getō Suguru. Something was amiss in this game and fake Suguru didn't like it one bit but one thing was done for now.
The sealing of Gojō Satoru was completed.
-Same Time-
Around 5000 Km away
Lake Manasarowar, Burang County
Tibet Autonomous Region
"Ok that's enough for today sunflower!" was the first thing that was heard as a girl, 16 years of age with greenish-grey hair, a fair face with closed eyes, wearing a bluish-black Parka jacket with a black skirt and black tights floated over the surface of water in a meditative lotus position. This was Saito Tsubaki, an apprentice Jujutsu Sorcerer to the person who had just called her.
At a distance there stood a person, a male, tall, with red curly wild hair, wearing a white duffle coat with black pants and black shoes. This was Tsubaki's teacher, one, Shimizu Takumi. He waved at the girl as she slowly opened her eyes and levitated slowly towards dry ground. She let out a slow long breath and turned towards the person, who called her out, with twitching eyes as she gritted out,
"Taka-sensei! How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that and call me by my real name! Tsu-Ba-Ki! Say it!"
"Hmmmmmm~~~" a fox-like grin emerged on Takumi, while his bright green eyes shined, as he said, "No-I-Won't."
Thwack!
A vicious slap from a twig caught Takumi off-guard but he bounced back as quickly as he fell down with a grimaced trembling grin on his face and a huge bloody mark on his left cheek. His eyes trembled and let out tears.
"Nice slap."
"Hmmf!" the girl, Tsubaki, huffed whilst pouting and tried looking intimidating with her hands on her hips, brown eyes narrowed at Takumi. "Tch, I don't even know why I bother anymore with you."
"Hey, it's because I'm the best damn sorcerer and you know it." Takumi said in a smug manner as he healed his cheek.
"Best lame sorcerer more like. Oh wait, wasn't there someone else who was stronger? Starts with a 'go'." Tsubaki smirked.
"Now hold it there little lady sunflower, let's not get too testy."
"Ohhh~ do I hear jealousy Taka-sensei. Hmm? Hmm? Hmm?"
"Geee sunshine, you need to curb that hu – !"
Suddenly Takumi turned around and peered into the tent that was put up as he put up one finger to silence whatever Tsubaki wanted to say while he slowly made his way back towards the tent. Specifically towards a small pouch in the corner of their sleeping mat.
Takumi picked it up and peered in after loosening the knot and opening it up as he saw whatever that was in it had turned into grey ash with lingering cursed energy dissipating away.
"The medallion you had." Tsubaki spoke up from behind Takumi as she reached the tent and instantly knew the situation when her eyes fell at the pouch.
She had seen Takumi keep that medallion close and had also been informed by him that it was a special item related to Gojō Satoru. To see it turn to ashes all of a sudden with no evidence of any ignition whatsoever spelled something really wrong.
"Hmmmmmm. Oh well." Takumi hurriedly retied the knot and put the pouch in one of the pockets in his coat as he turned around and walked out the tent, as if non-plussed. A few distance later, in an open space near the lake, Takumi started drawing symbols in a circular form. Finishing the circle with various symbols with a small concentric circle of symbols near the centre Takumi waved at Tsubaki who was already making her way towards him, clearly not understanding the way Takumi had reacted.
"Hey, sunflower! How do you feel like going on an adventure?!"
With a raised eyebrow, Tsubaki reached Takumi and replied, "Adventure? Really? Your precious medallion just turned to ashes. Doesn't that bother you?"
"Well, the medallion just turned to ashes and that is the precise reason why we are going on this adventure. Now get inside the circle."
A shrug of shoulders was the only response as both of them entered the recently made circle of various symbols akin to runes.
"So look, this medallion that I had, as you may remember I told you, was linked directly to the Cursed Energy of Gojō Satoru. It was part of a deal we had but long story short, I was to not jump in any matters regarding Cursed Spirits or the Jujutsu Administration themselves until Satoru-chan was operating alive and well. But now that the medallion's turned to ashes….."
"You think Gojō Satoru, the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer currently, is dead?"
"Naah, that guy isn't dead. As much as I hate to admit it, he is really, really, annoying to kill. He was most probably sealed off, cut out from this world. It's essentially like he was dead."
"Why would the Jujutsu Administration not want you acting though? You never told me about it."
Joining his hand in a crisscross fashion with the fingers intertwined Takumi said, "Well, you'll see when we reach there. The medallion turning to ashes also has a different effect waiting to be triggered."
"Oh? What's that?"
Smiling at his student, Takumi just replied with a "Leave some for the surprises will ya?" and then was about to activate the technique he was preparing to use when Tsubaki suddenly shrieked.
"Wait! Are we going to leave everything here and just bail like that?!"
"Umm, yeah. What's the problem?" Takumi replied, non-plussed.
"Problem?! Those are our stuff! My Stuff! How can we leave those?!"
"Oh c'mon! It will probably be of good help to some of the people around here. I mean, we've seen how cold it gets and how much some of the people live in here freezing."
"Are you serious? You always do this!"
"Welp, can't help it if I have a Sugar Mama who wants to give me everything that I ask for while being superhot herself for a plus."
"You're still in relation with that bimbo?!"
"Why do you think we got all this stuff at the ranch we arrived in?"
"I can't believe this!"
"Can't help it if I'm winning in life easily, sunny."
"How can Obā-san live with a son like you?"
"Same as how you can tolerate me?"
"Smartass."
A smirk was the reply as Tsubaki moved her hands towards the tent as a purple ornate sheathe filled with sword flew out and smacked her palm after a while. Gripping it she moved it towards her shoulders and hung it around the back as she nodded towards Takumi who nodded back and then, focusing a bit, he closed his palms.
Dhoom!
The only witness to there being anyone in that place were the tent with some materials, the smoking fire pit with the snubbed out flames, and the circular crater that was left for an impression in the ground.
-Back in Shibuya-
Slowly but surely, two other figures would start to make sense of their consciousness, courtesy of being trapped in Satoru's Ryōiki Tenkai (Domain Expansion), as Mahito looked on with glee and fake Suguru said with a happy face, "Ohhh, it seems they are slowly waking up."
He was joined by another figure in the shape of a larvae-like crustacean, when the eyes of the two other figures, a human, and a humanoid with a volcano for his head-top, opened wide fake Suguru continued, "Ho, looks like you're all awake at last. Jōgo. Chōsō. Now how about we discuss what happens next - !"
Suddenly fake Suguru stopped talking as he glanced at the cube in his hands which all of a sudden felt heavier and started sporting a bunch of eyes all around. It trembled and shook in minute bursts while in his hand as he kept his gaze when the humanoid figure, Jōgo, asked, "Getō, what's wrong?"
Out of nowhere, fake Suguru moved. Down right into the ground with his hand that held onto the cube, fake Suguru dropped the cube before his own hand touched the ground with it, seemingly saving his hand from being crushed as the cube fell in a massive crater around the figures situated in the vicinity.
"Tch! This GUY!" fake Suguru gritted out as he knew it was most probably the doing of Gojō Satoru inside the seal as the cube kept shaking in the middle of the crater with even more eyes popping out.
-Inside the Seal-
A dim, ragged and morbid world was what awaited one in the Prison Realm when one was sealed as Satoru could now truly experience what it was like. A place of ominous atmosphere, Satoru lay floating amongst the surface-less void space whilst being slowly surrounded by dark, malicious skeletons that disintegrated as soon as they got close enough to him.
"Huh, it seems time doesn't pass here." Satoru wondered out loud as he gazed around the timeless void space being surrounded by skeletons from underneath him.
"Hmm, I kinda messed up big time. This could mean trouble. But whatever, it's all going to be fine. I have faith in EVERYONE."
-Back with Getō and others-
The shaking cube still didn't stop shaking in frequent bursts as each of the eyes all around it gazed around everywhere as they blinked in erratic fashion.
Kneeling down Mahito looked at the cube as fake Suguru kept his gaze at the cube as well. Mahito, prodding the cube from a distance enquired, "So what's the deal with this cube now?"
"Well, the seal is complete." Fake Suguru started. "However, the Prison Realm, it takes time to process the occupant so it's taking quite a bit of time for a powerful being like Gojō Satoru. It is a shame but we won't be able to move the cube for the time being."
"Shame." The other human-looking figure, Chōsō, murmured.
As the five figures kept their watch on the cube, each of them felt a slight disturbance a few distances away that had been leaking very miniscule amount of cursed energy. Mahito sent out an elongated transmuted hand as he punched through one of the walls a few steps out.
They saw pieces of an equipment of sorts fall through the rubble as fake Suguru mirthfully spoke out, "Seems like we've been got."
"Yeeesshh, Getō, that's quite a shame isn't it?" Mahito said grinning.
"I'm thinking of taking my chances." Fake Suguru replied while looking back at the still shaking cube.
A few minutes later, fake Suguru gets informed by one of his scouting cursed spirits that Itadori Yūji had already announced the sealing of Gojō Satoru to everyone.
"Hmmph, looks like the jig is up for real this time." Fake Suguru informed everyone as the other three barring one turned towards him while he continued,
"The Jujutsu Sorcerers will start to increase in number in the area as they will be converging here. Almost every decent Jujutsu Sorcerers are headed this way. I am most probably going to be staying here, what about you guys?"
"To avenge my brothers," Chōsō started. "I am going to kill Itadori Yūji and Kugisaki Nobara. After that, I am going to head down towards Jujutsu High to retrieve the rest of the remains of my brothers."
"I don't know who this Kugisaki is Chōsō.." Jōgo started. "..But Itadori is going to be off-limits for now. We're going to turn him into Sukuna."
"I don't care." Retorted Chōsō uncaringly.
"Huh? Whudju say?" Jōgo grumbled out as he and Chōsō grinded out each other with focused glares.
"Now, now, calm down Jōgo." Mahito spoke up jovially but Jōgo seemed to have none of it.
"Whatever's going to happen, I say we can still win this thing. With Gojō Satoru sealed and gone we are all equal until we can bring back Sukuna and THAT is why, Chōsō, Itadori is OFF-LIMITS!"
"Let's just kill Itadori." Mahito said out of nowhere. "Isn't it going to be fine even if there is no Sukuna? I mean, to be honest I want to kill Itadori Yūji too know." Mahito finished with a jovial shrug leaving Jōgo fuming with surprise.
"Mahito! What the hell are you saying?!"
"Think about it? I've been wondering after I fought Satoru. It doesn't matter now if we can revive Sukuna, we're undoubtedly, more, well equipped for the upcoming battles."
"Are you serious Mahito?"
"I'm serious for Real, For Real."
A moment of contemplation later Jōgo said, "It is sort of true that reviving Sukuna seems to be like a double-edged sword. If he is revived we might suffer as well. But if that…."
As Jōgo mumbled on about his ethos and goals, fake Suguru had been deep in thought watching the cube in the ground as he gave minimal attention to the grabble that was being spewed around him.
'You seemed to still have a confidant air to you Gojō Satoru. Even while being sealed. Now, what am I missing?' Fake Suguru's head turned with these racing thoughts.
'Hmmm, if the information has been withheld via a Binding Vow then it is going to need a trigger or the person needs to be dead. But since Suguru was already dead and I still don't have the information about it. It is interesting.
Whoever made this Binding Vow didn't seem to leave any kind of loophole for the information to be shared. A perfect clause which would also mean dire consequence for both the caster and the ones being casted upon while in agreement, how did they manage? It would need an immense and precise reasoning and clause to be set up.'
It truly stumped fake Suguru that, at this moment of time even, the supreme powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer was able to leave him with a lasting headache over the next course of action but fake Suguru was certain, still, that sealing Satoru was the best outcome for his next stage in the plan.
While he pondered over the facts, Mahito had turned to him to ask a question as fake Suguru turned his attention towards him. "Getō, you're probably more in line with what Jōgo is saying right?"
"Hmm." Fake Suguru seemingly agreed.
"So what do you think you're going to do?" Mahito enquired more to which fake Suguru replied nonchalantly,
"Oh, but I have to keep an eye on the Prison Realm as it is still processing Satoru. I'm afraid you shall proceed to this next stage on your own. I'm going to have to pass. Do as you wish."
Fake Suguru continued after a pause as Mahito looked on. "Sukuna is nothing more than a contingency plan on the off side that the Prison Realm didn't work. The main plan was always the sealing of Gojō Satoru and that went off with no hitch. I would say you can do whatever you want now. There is nothing mo –!"
Fake Suguru felt it to his bones as did everyone inside or nearby the veil that had been drawn all over Shibuya. The feeling that ran through oneself when something goes horribly wrong and you feel it course through your spine, fake Suguru felt it all and at that moment he knew. He was missing something from Gojō Satoru and that had led to this. This was supposed to happen but not so early, and not like this.
The screen veils covering the area around Hikarie ShinQ and the station had been destroyed.
-Above the Underground Station-
Shibuya S Tower, Top of the Building
Three figures could be seen on the top of the Shibuya tower building. An old woman, a short bald man and another tall one, both male standing whilst the old lady sat in a prayer form with a ring of beads in her joined hands.
"Did ya hear that, Awasaka? Gojō-sensei has been sealed." Spoke the old lady. "Seems like Intel has been leaked out to all, even the enemy."
The bald person replied, "That's good news isn't it, Granny Ogami? Things seem to finally start getting interesting now." a pause later, "So… Gojō Satoru really did get sealed. How exciting. I wonder Granny, what is going to happen to this poor country?"
"Same as it had been, Awasaka." The old lady raised her hands to her face. "Nothing will change now. We will curse, be cursed and die, as we did before. As we lived free before."
All three looked towards the area where the Shibuya station was located as it had a veil drawn over it. The bald man spoke, "I cannot wait for the new sunrise, Granny Ogami. It will be much better than the mornings I've been waking up to."
"It will be nice to wake up happy, Awasaka, but let the night rest first." Optimism apparent in her frail voice, Ogami kept her closed eyes focused towards the on-goings of her surroundings when suddenly she felt a disturbance. Eyes wide as they opened instantly she turned her focus towards the distant skyline.
This feeling she had coursing through her body, it was only one other time she had ever had a reaction this bad to someone's aura itself. She can never forget the feeling she had, when she felt his birth, when that boy spawned. But that person was sealed off now. Locked up in a place bereft of time so why? 'What is this? Who is this?'
"Awasaka." The bald man turned to her as she gritted out, small bead of sweat dripping down side of her face, "Someone powerful just entered the veil."
Awasaka Jirō didn't know what to say but when a pulse touched his body, his body reacted. Turning towards the skylines his vision zeroed in with the others as well when in the next instant, a bright flash tore through their eyes.
Covering their eyes the three only had one thing going through their heads right now.
'The veil is broken!'
Thuump!
-Somewhere around Shibuya-
"Getō did?!" Nanami asked, doubt laced in his voice after hearing whatever Mechamaru had told him through the earpiece of Yūji.
"Technically speaking, it was someone in the body of Getō Suguru, acting as him. The whole of Shibuya Station underground is in panic right now." the static voice of Mechamaru rang from the earpiece as it continued.
"From the Special Grades and the Cursed Spirits that they have brought along, with the Cursed Users that are unknowingly supporting the fake Getō and also the transfigured humans and civilians under stress, it is currently a big mess right now."
Nanami pondered over the matter as he said, "Sounds like they are boxed up but this gives us a perfect opportunity to attack from all the nearby stations and it all makes sense now. But in order for that to work, we must lift the veil screen covering the station, first."
"This is an emergency. So we will all have to multitask." Mechamaru emphasized as Nanami started to contemplate a new plan.
A short while later, Nanami said, "There are several things only a Grade1 Sorcerer like me can handle and that is why I will take some of the heavy hitter works at the moment. I will head outside and take care of them while in the meantime…."
Nanami addressed the other three figures before him, "…I'm going to leave you with some things to do on your own. I'd like for the three of you to do something about the screen that is prohibiting us Sorcerers from entering that area. Ino.."
A figure jumped down in between Yūji and Megumi as he looked at Nanami while he said, "Kusakabe and Supreme Grade1 Sorcerer Zen'in should also be inside the curtain as well. If you meet up with them, Ino, please explain the situation to them and ask them for help regarding the plan."
"Got it!" Ino replied.
"Also…" Nanami paused and then said, "I'm leaving these two in your care."
"Understood!"
Nanami nodded and turned towards Yūji and Megumi and said, "Make sure you all stay safe and do hurry up. We do not have much time and every time we waste right now could be our last. I will be heading out now, I pray th-!"
KRAAASSSSCCHHHH!
A bright light tore through the district area. A shattering sound was heard. A wailing wind blew. As the four turned their shocked heads towards the origin of the flash and sound they didn't know what to say anymore.
The outer veil literally shook as the shockwave raced through every sorcerer even outside the veil signalling one major thing.
A veil had been shattered, a very strong veil.
-A Few Moments Earlier-
Skies of Shibuya
In the skies over Shibuya two figures could be seen abruptly appearing as they easily fell through the first veil over Shibuya. Takumi and Tsubaki had teleported right over the veil and now they were free falling towards the city.
"Hoh! Interesting! A three part veil with stronger applications! This one's probably a normal one that we got through!" Takumi shouted amongst the deafening wind drafts, seemingly undeterred by the current situation.
"What you thinking then, Taka-sensei!?" Tsubaki asked/shouted as she free fell alongside him, arms crossed and one leg over the other.
"I'm gonna break through the veil screens over the station, they seem to be for something else! You can do clean up!"
"Clean up after you?! No thanks!"
"Not that! I meant clean up the trash sorcerers of the enemy! Like the ones on that building!" Takumi pointed at the distant high rise building which was the tallest inside the veil.
"Fair enough! Want me to come back you up quick Taka-sensei?!"
"Nah! Just kill the Curses and Curse Users that have ill intent! Doesn't matter how high in the CoC they are! Go ham sunflower!" Takumi told her as he dived in towards the veil over the ShinQ area.
"Look for a Mochi shop in Spain-zaka street!" Tsubaki shouted back as she took a detour herself towards the tallest building in the area.
"Sheesh, she thinks any shop's gonna be open after this madness? Haha!" Takumi laughed as he dove in with his right hand clutching a small ruby stone.
"Shirafude (しら筆, White Brush)."
A distinct sizzling sound and a burst of white and black energy later the ruby stone Takumi clutched had now turned into a broad, larger than usual, Batangas blade that had a handle wrapped in various talismans with a small elongated portion of the talisman paper jutting out in the end.
"Oh ye! Let's break through this shitty barrier."
Takumi clutched the weapon tight as it seemed to vibrate with glee when he reached, danger close, towards the top portion of the veil screen. He swung the blade towards the screen and as the blade touched the outer layer, Takumi barrelled through like it was nothing. The veil shattered, altogether sending a massive shockwave around as Takumi manoeuvred his body in mid-air. He reached and dug his blade through the wall of a building in his drop route as he slowed down his fall.
As Takumi reached the ground he looked around as he saw the state of the area covered in the screen, which he had barrelled through like nothing.
A small amount of people, some injured, some being chased by Cursed Spirits or by the transmuted human bodies; courtesy of Mahito but Takumi didn't know that, came in his vision as he dispatched a few of the transfigured humans with his blade. He watched as the humans who were surviving and running around to find a means of escape had seen the veil over the station being shattered and tried to see if the veil over the whole of Shibuya had gone down as well. It did not.
Takumi gazed at the building in front. The, once full of people, Shibuya and the area in front of the Hikarie building was bare of anyone except for empty wind. He could sense numerous life signatures, both cursed and human, around him as well as the underground levels of the transport metro.
'Jeez, they polluted the soul too? It stinks till here even though they seem to be couple of basements down. Now where are the entries?'
Clutching the blade in his hands Takumi started walking towards a building as the few people all around had started to vanish from the streets again, one by one. He sealed his blade back into the ruby as he made a dash towards the inside of the Hikarie complex. Before he reached the complex though he felt a sudden disturbance from the west side of the district, very close to him.
A sudden jump in erratic Cursed Energy output meant there was a fight going on which made Takumi change directions. He dashed towards the side alley of the complex when he jumped over a few more houses and then in a distance saw two black coat wearing individuals already dead with another standing over their bodies while holding a sword that seemed to have a hand for its handle and no hilt.
Normal sized stature with a thin frame, tied-up blonde long hair, and wearing a one-piece black suit that covered his lower and left-top sides of his body, the person stood over them shaking in glee as he proceeded to kick the downed bodies all around, laughing in mirth. Takumi watched as the person seemingly taunted something and then walked away.
Takumi observed the bodies in the streets. 'Those are the administration uniforms. So, they never learned did they?'
While Takumi was observing the scene, the blonde-haired person he was focused on; one, Shigemo Haruta, giggled as he removed the blade he held from the back of one of the downed Jujutsu Academy sorcerers.
"So weak~ so weak~ but it's good, you see, for me. Hah! I've really been let go in this whole thing you know but oh well, what can you say anyway? You're dead and can't even talk anymore mhhehehemehemeh~, I call this mercy for you. At least you'll not suffer anymore~."
Haruta simply turned and had proceeded to walk towards his next destination. Giddy eyes and a timid anticipation marred his face as he made his way towards the next place where he could get more prey, the helpless and the weak, the people who are scared, and most importantly, 'I wonder if I can get any cute girl to kill today, hmhmhhmhheheheh.' He thought giggling mentally.
"But I do wonder how did the veil come down so fast? Will Uraume punish me for this? I di-!"
FlrrRp! / DuuP
Haruta stopped and clenched the sword in his hand as it also clenched back. His eyes widened as the hairs in his body stood straight and his spine tingled with a cold shiver. It was danger after all. Danger lurked in the vicinity Haruta was currently at.
"You know, I'm really not that powerful, whoever you are. I'm just walking out he-!" while speaking Haruta was grabbed by his face while turning back and then instantly sent through the shop walls across the street.
Unlucky for Haruta was the fact that the shop he went through was an antique selling shop and he got pierced in his ribs by a pole-arm. Lucky for Haruta, the pole-arm broke in time and didn't go through his chest from the back as his wounds healed, unknown to his assailant. Unknown to Haruta, two of the six black lines underneath his eyes had turned white in that one instant.
'What the hell? Who was that? I couldn't even- '
With not even a small chance of escape or reaction time several earth spikes pierced through Haruta's body in an instant as he gasped and chocked up large amounts of blood while his body gushed out blood through the numerous pierced pores. For a short moment his consciousness hung and erratically swapped between reality and the abyssal black for a while.
He couldn't move, he couldn't scream. No sound, no movement, no help. Crushed and pierced by the spikes emerging from underneath the body and the back, six white lines marred right below his eyes whilst being buried beside the shining antiques around; Curse user, Shigemo Haruta, was dead long before the thought of miracles formed in his mind.
The figure, Takumi, watched the destroyed front of the shop for a short while, turned and made his way straight towards the inside of the Hikarie complex.
'Detours suck.' Takumi reasoned mentally as he passed through the halls of the famous complex building making his way to the underground parts. As he passed the few hallways through and the stairs leading in to the underground levels and station he noticed the violence now.
Various marks of blood, guts and other gore details were splattered amongst the walls of the first basement floor signifying the brutal assault that had happened. Takumi kept on his toes as he made his way through the bloody halls into the deeper underground chambers as he made his way towards the inhumanly cursed signatures that he could feel were starting to move underneath.
'Jeez, Satoru-'yuung! Why do you this? You've made a mess again this time.'
-With Getō and others-
Underground B5F Level
The moment the veil had come apart fake Suguru merely sighed after the short bout of shock. It seemed he was the only one that just didn't seem to be bothered by it as Jōgo erupted,
"GeTOOO! The Veil is DOWN!"
"We can all see and feel it as well Jōgo, sheesh. You really need some Kakigori in your system." Fake Suguru teased the Cursed Spirit with a volcano for his head as he exploded even more at that comment while Mahito kept on giggling on the side.
"You ThINk thiS iS fUNnY MAHITO! GETŌ?!"
Mahito merely watched, comically lip-tied, as he turned towards fake Suguru with inquisitive eyes.
"Well, the veil shattering isn't a big deal anyway since it was meant to happen sooner or later. Shame it happened ahead of schedule but it doesn't change my plan." Fake Suguru said as he turned and proceeded to sit down by the erratically shaking cube with eyes. "I am still going to be here for the cube to settle down. I do not care how many sorcerers come here. They will all die anyway."
"Hoh! Getooo~ Then can I play with Itadori Yūji-kun~" Mahito spoke in a singsong manner.
"Grr! I TOLD you he is OFF-LIMITS!" Jōgo shouted back.
"Let's just go and kill the guy. The veil shattering doesn't matter. It just means they can reach here faster." Chōsō said as he clenched his right fish. "That's better for me."
"Do as you all shall wish Mahito. I am here if you come back." Fake Suguru merely spoke as he smiled and watched Mahito jump in joy and proceed to head out towards the stairs right beside the corner as Jōgo watched them all run off and not to be left behind ran after them as well.
Fake Suguru merely watched them disappear and then he spoke in a soft tone after a moment.
"You know, I'd say the Curses right there are smarter than you two." He turned to his right as he saw amongst the crowd of still dazed humans. Two young girls, as they glared at him.
"Give Him BACK!"
Mimiko started, "We co-operated with you and we kept killing those monkeys on your orders."
Nanako followed, "We did as we were told now, give back Master Getō's body as promised."
"Don't you dare play with.." Mimiko said followed by Nanako.
"…Master Getō's body any longer."
A mirthful laugh was the reply as fake Suguru replied, "Have you lost your minds you two? I don't remember taking even your brains out too." Laughing he continued, "Next time you cut a deal or promise with a sorcerer you better make sure that you make it a Binding Vow."
Both of the girls intensified their glare as they gritted their teeth. Fake Suguru merely looked on at the cube and said, "It's unfortunate you have lost the deal but that is of no concern to me. Now you can go, shoo. Or would you like to be killed by this precious body of your master?"
Fake Suguru merely kept his eyes on the cube while Mimiko snarled inward. She gripped her big plush toy close to her and spoke silently, a short warning, as she and Nanako proceeded to vanish amongst the still-dazed crowd.
"You'll regret that."
Watching them as they disappeared, fake Suguru merely said, "Regret, huh? I forgot what that was a long, long, time ago." Facing the shaking cube he said, "Now, if only you can settle down quickly then there is much to be done later on."
-Around B3 Level-
Underground Shibuya Sta.
As Mahito made his way towards the upper levels of the station he couldn't help but plot more on what he could possibly do to make Itadori Yūji even more miserable before he can be killed.
'Hmm~ I should probably try and get some humans to break him even more. If he hasn't changed since the first time we met then all the more exciting. Oh~ How can I forget.
I have that Grade-1 sorcerer to look out for as well. He is sure to make Itadori mourn even more when he dies!'
It was clear on Mahito's part. He wanted to kill Itadori Yūji for he had been someone who had absolutely been able to make Mahito's life interesting. From Sukuna's soul to the boy's own grit, Mahito was eager to test the young sorcerer's mettle even more with his own.
For they were two sides of the same Cursed Coin, but Yūji still was naive about it. And Mahito wanted to break that naiveness down.
'With Sukuna not interfering I can easily fight with Itadori yet if I use my Domain I will surely be cut down. Sukuna is still leagues above me but Itadori on the other hand is fresh and ripe. Like me~ It's going to be a party soon~
Hmm?!' ((Mahito saw the floor around him shake as he saw various Cursed Spirit suddenly explode down the stairs right in front of him at a distance))
GhrrDhhoOm!
Crashing down, the floor above sent shockwave and debris flying as Mahito covered his eyes from the dust when after a while, he saw someone carving through the sea of Cursed Spirits in front like a mad man. A red head-top was the clear cut vision that Mahito's eyes captured and he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows with focused interest.
'Oh! Who is this new sorcerer?'
Before he realized, the attacker had reached Mahito's vicinity but he created a transmuted human shield that stopped the incoming slash. (('He is fast!'))
ChwoOsH!
Shoulder slashed Mahito's eyes widened but he quickly created distance as the other remaining Cursed Spirits attacked the sorcerer. The sorcerer didn't stop or slow down his attacks as Mahito launched a stream of snake-like transmuted humans but the sorcerer didn't seem to slow down.
'What the hell?! My wound won't heal quick?! And it burns!'
Mahito ducked the kick that came as he was trying to regenerate with his technique but it seemed like his technique was somewhat slowed down. Right before he could stabilize himself he saw the next attack coming (('If only I can touch him once!')) which Mahito dodged by a hair's breadth as he tried and reached for the hands of his attacker while his smile widened, despite his condition.
'Now I will use this on y-!'
But instead of touching the skin and trying to use his technique, Mahito's hand bent away from its target (('What?!')) as he was then kicked away but he created a few more transmuted humans that, along with the Cursed Spirits as well, tried to slow down the sorcerer.
On the other hand, Takumi was interested in the Cursed Spirit before him that seemed to be far more interesting than any he had encountered before. It had the disgusting twisted soul aura of the same humans he had seen and slew before reaching here.
'This Cursed Spirit is most probably responsible for all those heinous soul deformities, he has the heaviest presence of them all. He feels disgusting to stay around. I better finish this quick and find the source of Gojō.'
It didn't matter for Takumi whatever grade the Cursed Spirit was, he had only a single goal at the moment and that was to find the place where he could still feel the lingering Cursed Energy of the Gojō clan head.
"You're pretty different than the other sorcerers I've come across. That makes you a real pain right now you know."
The sudden talk by the Cursed Spirit had taken Takumi by surprise for a moment but he just shrugged.
"And you're pretty interesting for a Cursed Spirit. But I just can't seem to like you. Your aura stinks you know."
"Hmm~ Does that mean humans stink as well? Don't mind me, I'm just a Curse born of the evilness of humans. I just like playing with their souls too much."
Takumi merely shook his head. The Cursed Spirit before him was interesting but he could care less about him currently. He could feel himself getting closer to his destination and thus without any further adieu Takumi dashed forward as the Cursed Spirit made a move to dodge his attack.
"Oh! No more pre-fight banter?! Hmhm~"
"I don't like to waste talk on trash."
Cutting low and changing shape (('What the hell?! He changed his-!')) Mahito dodged the slash attack and got behind Takumi. Mahito launched a swarm of transmuted snake-eel hybrid humans with sharp jaws that Takumi cut through as well but Mahito had been waiting as he launched a transmuted human bomb that exploded right beside Takumi. Mahito grinned but Takumi emerged from the smoke, unharmed, and Mahito had to make a run for it.
'Seems he can also do something like Gojō Satoru to negate damage. My shoulder still hurts even after I used my technique to the max. ((Mahito's eyes narrowed)) He does not use normal Cursed Energy.'
An earthen spike headed towards Mahito but he bend backwards in an inhuman position to dodge it when Takumi appeared right in front and sent another slash (('Those slashes are not normal as well.')) which Mahito dodged by splitting himself up into various shaped clones. Takumi eyes narrowed as he saw Mahito make a dash towards the same area where he had previously appeared from. A pulse spread out the vicinity and reached Mahito.
"Hanten (Reversal)."
A flung out left hand of Takumi closed in to a fist as the area around him, for 50 meters, just stopped of any activity; Mahito, along with his doppelgangers, also stopped moving, some even in mid-air (('What the hell is this?!')). Takumi brought his hand forward like a punch.
"Choku (直, Straight)."
All of a sudden Mahito felt his whole being stretched in as it started out of nowhere and before Mahito knew it, he was smashed into the ground (('Ho-?!')) as his doppelgangers dispelled off leaving his original body in the crater.
Before he lost his senses, Mahito could only feel the incoming attack as his consciousness faded while he could only wonder along.
'What just happened?'
Next, he was launched through the floor, underneath.
-Back with Getō-
DhoRoOM! / CraAShhH!
Eyes widened, fake Suguru jumped back as the floor of the station above him came crashing down in front of him; luckily the cube wasn't harmed as a small protective screen came over it. Dust and smoke filled the room intensely as fake Suguru covered his lower face portions and watched with small lidded eyes. The destruction had also snapped the dazed humans out of their trance, after experiencing Satoru's Domain.
They started to panic as they witnessed the situation they were in, with the memories rushing in, and the blood and guts around the vicinity, the humans tried panic run towards a corner. Fake Suguru didn't give them any heed as he kept his narrowed gaze at the settling concrete dust.
"Yoooooooooooooooo~!" was the first thing heard when the crash and destruction started settling down with the dust. Fake Suguru narrowed his eyes at the, still familiar to Suguru yet not familiar to him, signature of, the energy, the person he could sense was wielding. His eyes widened as the dust slowly cleared out and Mahito's deformed unconscious body came into view coupled with fingers, fake Suguru felt, around his left shoulder.
As soon as the fingers touched fake Suguru, a huge and long centipede-like Cursed Spirit erupted from underneath his heel and pierced through the person behind him; coiling around his body in the process, the centipede Cursed Spirit was ready to devour it when the person dissolved into mud. Fake Suguru turned back and watched the mud that gathered under his heel with narrowed eyes.
"Quite a response." Takumi came into view, foot stomping over the chest of the unconscious, brutally beaten up, Mahito. "That's so not like you though Suguru-yung. Am I seeing right or are you doing something really, really, naughty again with Cursed Spirits?"
As the dust cleared further Takumi's full visage came into view. Holding a long dagger-like blade with an extended smaller blade emerging from the top side, Takumi appeared in sight with a smug grin on his face as he proceeded to kick the unconscious Mahito to the side of the rubble-ridden platform.
"Who was THAT chump? He was pretty interesting for a Cursed Spirit and it seemed like he had some kind of ability as well but his aura just stunk." Pointing at the downed Mahito Takumi asked,
"Is that one of your new pals? I didn't know you were also experimenting now with Cursed Spirits like that. What is going on here Su- !" Takumi paused mid-way, suddenly, as he was sitting down on the rubble behind him. "Wait a minute. You don't seem right. No, you don't seem right at all."
Takumi's eyes narrowed further as he sat down and proceeded to smile while asking, "Will you kindly tell me who you are. You know, Suguru-yuung's Cursed Energy was never this densely mixed."
Looking at the figure in front of him, Takumi couldn't figure what it was that had bombarded his senses with an overabundance of Cursed Energy that just didn't meld with Getō Suguru's own, but Takumi was sure as hell, things weren't as normal as they seemed.
Takumi had known Suguru. Not as much as he knew Satoru, but Takumi knew the person that Getō Suguru had been. Suguru was one of Satoru's closest friends. He was a loving and proud sorcerer even though he had been disillusioned by some of the things that the Jujutsu Administration had done. His soul had a taint but it still glowed with optimism and camaraderie; but this Getō Suguru in front of Takumi had none of the Getō Suguru traits he had felt and knew of.
Takumi knew about the attack on Kyoto and that Suguru had disappeared after that incident. Whatever had happened after that disappearance, Takumi doubted that Getō Suguru had been the one to return. He then also noticed them, the stitches on the forehead and the almost unnoticeable traces of Reverse Cursed technique manipulation. Takumi could sense it all, the dichotomy in the person's spiritual aura. Takumi's special ability confirmed it all.
The Getō Suguru in front of him was not the Getō Suguru he remembered. This was a fake in Getō's literal body.
Fake Suguru, on the other hand, was baffled, for a short moment, when he saw the motionless, bloodied, body of Mahito. Fake Suguru had seen him leave just moments ago to play his so-called games, but here he was, back, defeated so quickly. It shocked him, still, at the fact that Mahito got beat up so fast but then came the epiphany. A small fleeting rush of information of past as fake Suguru looked at the person who had defeated Mahito and was standing in front of him after kicking him away.
'Clear….Water…. Clear… Shi…Shin… Kiri…. Mizu… (?) Wai- Shi..Kiri..Mizu.. so that's what it is?' Fake Suguru pondered inside his head.
He listened to Takumi's doubts and it made fake Suguru giggle at the chaos he had seemingly created by occupying the body of one of the most infamous rogue Jujutsu Sorcerer of recent times. It seemed as if the one thing fake Suguru knew he was missing about Gojō Satoru's was now revealed for him.
"Heh, I see." Fake Suguru giggled to the tirade of words Takumi spoke as he continued, "Clear Water, now I know, it was you isn't it? Heh, is that it? Since Okkotsu is weak, now Satoru puts his hopes on a sorcerer of the accursed extinct clan of shamans?"
As he said that Takumi stopped his speculations and then raised an eyebrow at fake Suguru. Takumi focused back on him as he saw fake Suguru had slowly started summoning more centipede-like Cursed Spirits around him. Takumi wondered out loud, eyes blinking, "He had plans for me?"
Fake Suguru, ignoring the question, murmured to himself, "You humour me Gojō Satoru." 'Shin Kiri. Shimizu. Now that I think about it who would've thought that that clan would still be relevant to this day?'
((eyes focused back at the sitting Takumi)) 'It doesn't make sense still. As far as this body and even I can remember, the boy was kicked out of the academy with his Cursed Energy sealed off. But why is the question? I cannot seem to remember much about him, why is that? Clear Water. Was it an incantation? A release chant perhaps? Hmmm~ I can still feel gaps in the memories. What am I missing? Is it the Binding Vow I figured?'
Fake Suguru spoke, "This is quite a surprise reunion. So you were still alive and in contact with Gojō-kun, hmm? That is news."
Takumi listened as his eyes narrowed at the '-kun' but fake Suguru continued, "Shimizu Takumi; the Cursed Alchemist, they named you. The unknown Special Grade of '08. Last I remember you were in the academy in Tokyo being on the verge of execution. You were kicked out of the Academy due to stealing of private techniques, misconduct against the administration and most importantly….-!?"
Fake Suguru actually just stopped as he spoke and his eyes further narrowed briefly as well. 'Wait, I can't remember it? What?! There was something that happened! Suguru's memories bring up a blank as well. What is this? How is this possible?!'
"Having trouble remembering?" fake Suguru swiftly turned his narrowed eyes at the grinning Takumi who said that and was still sat in front of him.
"Don't worry. It was part of a deal between me and Satoru-yuuung~ Pinky swear and all that stuff, we are very tight lipped about it."
((Takumi rose from his sitting position)) "Now that I know you are not Suguru-yuung, I am actually pretty miffed. I wanted to catch up with him you know. I hoped that he would survive his fight but I guess Satoru was out of mercy that day. Well, guess I'll meet Yuki-naaoooo~ around this time if I'm lucky. Like really, I didn't expect Suguru-yuung to be this weak though, seriously."
For the second time that day fake Suguru's right hand came up to his throat while his Cursed Spirits erratically shuddered around him. 'Grrhghk! Again?!' It was noticed by Takumi.
"Ohhh~! Is that Suguru-yuung's own guilty conscience?! Or is that rage?!" Takumi said out loud as he stood in front of fake Suguru who removed his hand from his throat while also taking a deep short breath.
Takumi grinned.
"Don't worry your pretty little brain there falso! I'm just gonna tell you that there's a Binding Vow in effect here. Some memories are just better left untouched and unseen by people the likes of you. What is this, Invasion of the Body-Snatchers?!
Also, since I've been exposed enough to you in your proximity I can clearly say you're truly not Suguru-yuung anymore. Satoru probably also wants a piece of whoever you are but we'll see."
((Takumi points the sword he was holding towards fake Suguru)) "You were cool back then Suguru-yuung but now, I'm gonna kill your body."
-Twelve years ago-
Forest between Toyono – Kameoka
Osaka and Kyoto prefectures
"So you're the kid, Shimizu Takumi?"
Bright green eyes stared on as Getō Suguru, with hands inside his pockets, looked at the young, pre-teen, Takumi in front of him with squinted eyes. Nobody said a thing as they both stared at each other for a while when Gojō Satoru burst out laughing all of a sudden.
Suguru turned towards the wheezing Satoru as the boy just kept an intrigued gaze over Suguru. Suguru merely turned back his gaze towards the boy and spoke, "So, what's so special about you?"
Shrugging his shoulders young Takumi said, "I'm God."
Suguru could do nothing but raise his eyebrows at that response as Satoru only kept laughing even more beside him. Tired of the laughing, a twitching Suguru slapped Satoru over his head. He still kept laughing.
"Sigh, I don't know why I am bothering with this. Hmmm, you have an odd feeling to your Cursed Energy Takumi. Would you like to learn more about it?"
"You have a strange aura around you yourself. Like Cursed Spirits, a lot of it."
Suguru blinked as Satoru came around behind him and seemed to focus in on the conversation.
"Mr Typical-asian-guy's soul is covered by a lot of black patches while Mr Can't-take-anyone-serious there has a much more, cleaner soul with a raging aura."
Satoru whizzed while Suguru's eyes twitched with irritation again. Suguru focused back on Takumi and asked, "How are you able to say that? Is that your technique Takumi?"
"Hmm, I don't know. As far as I can remember, all those black suit dudes had similar general aura for Cursed Energy. I can also see this black patches in an otherwise colourful world and I always tend to stay away from those patches cuz they always turn out to be Cursed Spirits. Some would attack out of nowhere but they can't pass my spikes."
"Spikes?"
Shnkt! Ghruuuwm!
Five huge spikes made of the dirt and soil around them appeared a few paces away from their positions with five dead Cursed Spirits that hung from their pointed tip as they were all pierced through gruesomely. Suguru raised an eyebrow with Satoru whistling and watching the spectacle with his friend. They were further intrigued when the Cursed Spirits exploded and just completely disappeared from their senses.
"He can manipulate the ground." Satoru whistled at the size of the earth spikes that Takumi created. Suguru narrowed his eyes as the spikes crumbled away while asking Satoru, "Are you masking my senses again Satoru?" Satoru just whistled and shrugged. Sighing Suguru sent out some recon Cursed Spirits which momentarily surprised Takumi's senses and his special vision. Suguru then turned towards Takumi who asked,
"You can control them?"
Takumi was intrigued by the ability of Suguru so he asked again, "Cursed Spirits, you can control them?"
"That is my ability yes. Jurei Sōjutsu (Cursed Spirit Manipulation)."
"Woah. Well, this forest could be a goldmine for you. There are a lot of Cursed Spirits around this place."
"Is that so?" "Yeah, and it's probably the weird dense Cursed Energy that blanket the area like pollen seeds which interferes with your sensing. Seen a lot of people with black uniform like you enter the place and get killed most of the time."
Raised eyebrows, Suguru asked, "And you never helped them out? Or say, warn them?"
"Never cared about them so I don't care if they died. None of them were as chill as you guys are right now."
Suguru was intrigued listening to it while Satoru seemed to be in deep thought over something else.
"Well, your ability seems to be very powerful. Can you control it?" Suguru asked with a smile.
"I'm training for it. That's how Shiro Hairdoe next to you actually found me today." Takumi replied.
"Is that so?" Suguru wondered mentally, 'He took out five Grade 2 Cursed Spirits. Just like that.'
"Takumi, what do you think about joining Jujutsu High? That's where Satoru and I are currently studying to develop our techniques."
Takumi didn't give much reaction to the question as he only listened and pondered for a bit. Satoru jumped in saying, "Hey, Yo, Hey, Yo! Poaching my potential apprentice Suguru? Hmm, hmm, you won't be doing anything like that will ya?"
"He is not your pet Satoru."
"Hehe, let's take him to meet Yuki or Mei Mei. He'll be one for sure!" Suguru just proceeded to palm his face as Takumi merely sat down on the grass and proceeded to create something out of the earth again.
Concentrating a bit, Takumi was able to make a small sculpture that crudely resembled a Kyūbi. Suguru, noticing it, smiled and spoke, "That is very good."
"Still not perfect, I'm going to have to work on that." Takumi replied.
Satoru meanwhile sat down before Takumi and looked at the sculpture while taking off the glasses he was wearing. Takumi's eyes widened. It was the first time he had seen such crystal blue eyes. It was the first time he had felt something so pure. The first time something looked beautiful other than his mother's soul.
"Blue." Takumi spoke; mesmerized at the purity of the energy that radiated, from Satoru's eyes.
Satoru looked at Takumi with a much, more, sly look as he grinned and winked at Takumi. Takumi merely looked on as Satoru traced his sculpture and then leaned forwards. "You are really different from us huh?"
Takumi blinked as Satoru merely grinned and turned towards Suguru and said, "I think we should get some Mochi for the road, what do you say Suguru?"
Raised twitching eyebrow clearly asked the question of 'What?' but Suguru just shook his head.
"He is really different from us, Suguru. Takumi, his techniques, he doesn't use just Cursed Energy."
"What?" "Also, funny thing, Takumi-kun here has a Ten'yo Jubaku (Heavenly Restriction), it seems like."
-Four Years later-
The Foothills of Mount Mushiro
Tokyo prefecture
A figure in blue sat in the first set of stairs of an entrance. Another figure, in black, came walking down the steps and then sat beside the former as the latter said,
"Well, you screwed it up big time, gang!" Soft giggles followed as the guy continued. "So what are you thinking about Takumi-kun? Got some new ideas pumping?"
"Hmmm, kind of." Takumi wondered. "How's Tateyama looking these days Satoru-yuung?"
"Lots of snow as it is, still, early summer. So you're going to travel?" Satoru asked.
"Most probably, Kaa-chan needs a change of scenery. I think too many birds have been flying around recently."
"Hah! Make sure you don't get pooped on. You'd need an umbrella all the time."
"That's what I've been thinking these past few days." Takumi lay down on the steps with his arms crossed. "It's a shame Suguru-yuung did what he did. But I don't think I'd blame him. Kaa-chan always told me about the Jujutsu Sorcerer's world, how it's a cesspool of arrogant, old norms and grudges treaded on still to this day.
They haven't proven me wrong still, barring exceptions of course."
Satoru just kept a smile on his blindfolded face. "That's riiighht! How can you forget that you were star-struck when you came across Mei-Mei for the first time haha!"
"Shut UP! I was Just Being POLITE!"
"Nanaana, can't hear you Takumi-chaaaaan.!"
Takumi meanwhile just made frustrated noises and after a short moment of exasperation he sighed.
Gazing at the sky above Takumi said, "I need your help Satoru-yuung."
Satoru looked at Takumi as he continued, "The Elders have never liked me. With execution looming over my head and the bigoted opinions over my extinct clan it will be soon that they will come for everything that is related to me.
I'm gonna need your help for something. Might even need Tengen-daan to help with it cuz it is a big plan. Something I probably shouldn't try but to hell with it."
"Interesting." Satoru replied. "Is it going to piss them off? Make them run around like headless chicken? Dance like fools around the fire?"
Takumi merely smiled. "They won't even know."
An inquisitive raised eyebrow is given by Satoru as Takumi continued, "I told you about my innate technique didn't I?"
"It's very powerful, unique and a joy to watch through my eyes."
"Well, it's been three years since I came here. I think it is enough for what I am about to do." Takumi turned to look at Satoru. "We need to meet with Suguru-yuung though. I need to meet him before I do this."
Smiling Satoru merely replied, "Sure, it's been a while since I've met the maid-maker."
"Maid-maker?" "Yeah, cuz his Cursed Spirits are like maids." "Hoh, I didn't think about it that way." "Imagine Tamamo-no mae in Maid costume."
For a small moment, both Satoru and Takumi had descended into a dream-world of a hot and busty Fox-girl with, a big fluffy tail, wearing a fusion maid uniform and giving them a flying kiss with a wink. Satoru and Takumi proceeded to melt down, but then a vicious face with four slit eyes and a puppet-like grinning mouth replaced the once cute image and both Satoru and Takumi fell off out of the dream as if kicked by its offensiveness.
"Eyyyuugh, Suguru-yuung never could try and get better looking Cursed Spirits or make them better looking after getting them did he?"
"Haha, well its part of his charm you see. He is the one you'd expect to say to a girl "I only look at what is underneath the person"."
Takumi spluttered as he and Satoru had a hearty laugh at the joke.
"Oh, one more thing." Satoru suddenly spoke. "I found a kid. A few years younger than you when you first met me, but, pretty interesting in his own way."
"Oh? Is that so? Hmm. I should probably meet him and put in an impression once. It will be better, if my plan is to work perfectly."
"Is that right Takumi-kun? Now I'm even more interested in it."
"You are the lynchpin for this plan so of course I will tell you, pretty soon."
Smiling, Satoru joined his hands, fingers spread as he said, "This is turning out to be quite a surprise."
Takumi rose from his laid position and sat up, stretching himself a bit as he let loose a sigh. "I've got good lessons in this past two years and I'm gonna be honest, only you, Momi, Suguru-yuung and Yuki-naoo ever challenged my techniques. The others have been disappointing but it was a good decision to come here, until the shitshow went down."
A depressed cloud hung over Takumi as Satoru tried to soothe Takumi's feelings by rubbing his shoulders.
"Well, your technique opened up a set of new mind-blowing avenues for me as well." said Satoru. "This is one of the few rare things my Six Eyes have shown me of this world that has excited me."
"Hmpf, well." Takumi rose up from his seat in the steps. "Now that I've said what I wanted you to know, let's go to Tengen-daan's lair."
"Eh, right now?"
"Yeah, if I am to see through this farce of an execution, Satoru-yuung, all I gotta do is disappear."
-Present-
Near Shibuya Scramble Square
KHrRAaaShH!
A giant maw belonging to a Mongolian Deathworm-like Cursed Spirit burst through the streets and into the walls of a nearby structure as it proceeded to crash and stop while convulsing badly.
Soon it was torn to shreds as Takumi jumped out of its gaping topside while the Cursed Spirit proceeded to fall down to the ground, torn in three parts. Its massive underside remaining still in the hole it created. Takumi shook the dust off his coat as he grumbled.
"Elhhrgghh. That felt nasty. Now where's the c-!"
A giant hand smashed Takumi through one of the pillars of the structure as he flew and rolled off towards the empty street crossing outside. A huge mutated Gorilla-Rhino hybrid of a Cursed Spirit burst out from underneath the hole and then started giving chase to the rolling Takumi. Takumi steadied his footing as the hybrid Cursed Spirit caught up to him. The Cursed Spirit swung its fist at him but two massive pillars of ground and cement smashed in to its head and torso respectively. Takumi smiled wide and slashed through the immobilized Cursed Spirit, split it into three parts, and then leapt towards the destroyed hole he was thrown out of.
He cut down a few more flying mutated Vulture-like Cursed Spirits with bat-like wings that flew towards him as he took off towards the street area with a huge hole in its entry.
Whilst running towards the spot Takumi felt the ground shake as the road before him suddenly exploded upwards. Before he could right his tracks a big blast of flame erupted and covered the street, deafening the zone in a wide range.
"So you're the pissy sorcerer who broke through the barriers huh?"
The flames that still licked the streets slowly sizzled down as Jōgo emerged from the destroyed section while the smoke and dust kept their course of floating around. He looked around to find the one he was looking for when Takumi appeared over him with his sword in hand. Jōgo sensed Takumi and with the fastest of reactions ignited the volcano that was his head.
A big blast of orange-yellow flame occurred as the flames seemed to reach the skies of Shibuya. "Tch, was that it? Shame, you seemed to be of some challenge if you broke down our barriers."
"And you Cursed Spirits seem to be a little too active for me."
The one lone eye of Jōgo widened as he heard the voice of Takumi from behind. He turned quick and let loose another flaming attack but Takumi dodged and punched his face. Jōgo flew through the nearest building.
"You feel the same as that pansy Frankenstein Cursed Spirit I fought. But you're fire incarnate huh, interesting." Takumi looked towards the ShinQ building. "I can sense two more moving and that falso is still there huh? Wonder wh-!"
Three small volcanoes blasted the area, where Takumi was, with purple flames. The following explosions rankled the area again as Jōgo came into view again, face caved-in in his right side. He had two fingers up while breathing heavily. Takumi barrelled through the flames but Jōgo was ready as he dodged the swipe of the blade from Takumi and then proceeded to have a flaming hand-to-hand with the sorcerer wielding a sword.
"You're strong, stronger than most Cursed Spirits." Takumi wondered out loud when he ducked a flaming shot to the head to which he swept the legs off the ground for Jōgo while punching his gut and sending him flying towards the streets. Takumi didn't have to wait long as another flaming attack proceeded towards him that he merely followed through to slash. An explosion followed.
His clothes now ragged and having several, wear and tear, Jōgo narrowed his eye at the sorcerer that he was facing. He knew he was right to follow his hunch and it had led him straight towards the human who broke through their veils. He didn't expect his fight to turn out this hard though.
((Pant)) 'Who is this guy?' ((pant)) 'He isn't even slo-!'
"You know I'm on a tight schedule." Jōgo stood still when the voice came from his left. "And I've gotten interrupted so many times for some reason, it's just getting annoying. I wanna fight the falso and shits like you…..
…..are wasting my time."
Before Jōgo could make any sense a swing of sword descended upon him but he moved. Jōgo moved and he could see it, the blade miss by an inch. He dodged it, he knew he did. But then it cut, like hot knife slicing through butter, it cut. It burned and then Jōgo screamed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHGHGHHHHHH!"
Jōgo fell to the ground kneeling as he clutched the left side of his body. It had a deep slash from the shoulder to pelvis as Jōgo choked on his blood while falling down face first, twitching. Instantly, the floor beneath came alive and cocooned the injured Cursed Spirit with it unable to do anything.
"Burns right?" Takumi approached the, now captured, twitching Cursed Spirit as he kept writhing on the floor. "You just felt the lucky shot. She is a real mischief to use." He nodded at the sword in his hands as he watched Jōgo writhe underneath. One lone bloodied eye looking up at Takumi in anger, loathing, and pain. Jōgo didn't understand what he was feeling right now.
The wound he was inflicted with, Jōgo knew that Cursed Energy had a distinct signature, but this wasn't like anything he ever felt. Every sorcerer had a definite feeling of when they used Cursed Energy or when Cursed Energy was actually used. It had its signature, a known sensation, of death, of sorrow, of negativity. 'This doesn't even feel like Cursed Energy?!'
Jōgo was a Cursed Spirit. A Special Grade level as well. They were beings of negative influence, the product of a sedimentary collusion of different negative emotions. They knew exactly how Cursed Energy should be. Getō had a different sensation to his Cursed Energy yet still, his didn't feel as alien to Jōgo as he was feeling the energy eating his wound up currently.
'What is this?! It can't be Cursed Energy! The pain, uughHghGHGgh!' Jōgo's mind raced with jumbled thoughts.
He remembered Getō's words. When Getō had mentioned to Jōgo being well around the power levels of the Curse King Sukuna himself. 'He said I was close to eight or nine fingers. Was all that a joke?! And now this?!'
"What are you, you filthy human!" Takumi merely shrugged for a response.
"That's her trick you see. ((he pointed at his sword again)) My techniques use something that acts like poison to you guys." He sat down before Jōgo. "It is pretty nasty to feel, I can sense it running wild around your Cursed Energy composed body."
Jōgo wanted to speak but the burning from the slash prevented him from doing anything except writhe on the floor. Takumi smirked. "Having difficulty speaking? Don't worry. I have business with falso so I'm not going to waste any more time with you." Takumi stood up with a smile on his face.
"Wait." Takumi paused for a bit. "You know what, I like your style Cursed Spirit. I want you to join my team." 'Not to mention, falsoguru is still in the underground platform line with all the humans merely running around like headless chicken. What is he waiting for? He hasn't even touched the cube yet down there.'
"Team?!"
Jōgo was just surprised with the incredulous offer, from a human sorcerer of all people, who was just about to kill him. Takumi sensed his incredulousness as he spoke, "No need to be so surprised, you'll soon be dead for that."
Grabbing the face of the downed Jōgo Takumi made his sword disappear into the ruby stone he held. "Let me give you first-hand experience of the Shimizu clan's coveted Sōden Jutsushiki (Inherited Technique)." With that, he plunged the red stone right through the chest of Jōgo. Jōgo could only hack and cough out whatever Cursed Spirits substituted for blood as it spread around the vicinity.
Staggering, Jōgo, with every ounce of strength he could muster up, gripped the hand of Takumi that grabbed his face and let loose three of his Karekichū (Ember Insects) from the volcanic opening over his head. Before Takumi could react, the three flying insects vibrated like crazy and then,
BtToOOOOooOOM!
