4 Hours, 15 Minutes After Rift Event
Director Reiss stared at the flickering GOCNet interface one last time before slamming the panel shut with a dull clack. His voice cut the room like a spell gone wrong—sharp, dry, and aimed more at whatever gods were listening than at anyone in particular.
"Fuck me sideways with a broken wand..." he muttered. "If we ever get back, Madam DC Al Fine is going to hang me upside down in the Council Hall and personally skin me with her goddamn heels."
A beat of silence. Then the low, barely-suppressed sound of a few Quartermasters and Thaumologist who was in the office trying not to laugh.
While Alvarez raised an eyebrow, lips twitching. He was clearly weighing whether chuckling was worth the career risk. Judging by the sweat at his temple, he made the smart choice and stayed silent.
Reiss sighed, rubbing his forehead. "At least we've got supplies. Food printers, hydroponic greenhouse, filtered water system, self-contained power grid... all the usual 'end-of-the-world bunker' luxuries."
"Enough for two years if rationed right," Alvarez confirmed. "Longer if we're able to implements psychological conservation measures. Some of the non-humans eat less or can substitute magical intake."
"Small mercies."
The director's voice dropped into a grumble. "Still, if we don't make contact soon, I hope ████████ █████ vouches for me. The man's practically an angel. Maybe he can convince Al Fine not to mount my skull over her fireplace."
Which Reiss can imagine he's skull being over Madam DC fireplace which she was drinking a cup made of another skull of someone that failed or annoyed her. While it may be an exaggeration, but the title the Scary lady is not something you should exaggerate.
Meanwhile Alvarez smirked. "Well good look for you then, I'll bet a hundred bucks you will appeared at the next page of the Unofficial GOC Handbook about on ways to fuck up at The GOC"
Which Reiss meanwhile had a blank stare
(- _ -)
Which Reiss sigh and comments
" Im tempted to use you as a scape goat by using magic and putting an illusion spell and making you look like me when we arrived back home so you can face the Madam"
Which Alvarez shrugged" Hey i already face the wrath of ███ ███████ it's not that bad other than ███ making you REGRET on not triple checking your paperwork and then burning said paperwork and redo it Again,so why not since it's easier Facing the wrath of the Madam"
" Ok then I'll tell the madam and ███
████████ to assign you to paperwork duty for the rest of your life when we get back"
" FUCK NO"
"But you said you were ok with it "
"No i was not,i said facing one i could handle but both"
Which Alvarez looks horrified (°^°`) thinking on facing the two
Meanwhile before they continue their bickering, Alisha tapped Reiss, which he soon coughed "Right" Reiss barked, snapping back to command tone. "Talk to me about the Weaponry and firepower we have in our arsenal."
Taskmaster Juno, a stern woman with chromasteel eyes and a clipboard older than some civilizations, stepped forward.
"We've got four operational U-HEC in secure hangars—, fully charged, standard offensive modules online. And we have 5 personnel that are trained to operate it,so they're always ready considering even in our world U-HECs are rarely deployed , which the pilots are currently waiting for their time to shine in this world which they are currently training for deployment in case something happens, but We're not taking them out unless there's a major threat entity that needs a beat down by a 3 meter mech"
Reiss nodded. "Ok,Continue."
"Next we have approximately three dozen Whitesuits—active. Suited for both direct combat and arcane resistance. Enchanted outer plating, ether-threaded HUD overlays. Not enough for the whole entire Physics Unit in the Base, but enough to equip every Strike team members."
"And everything else?"
"Standard weapon lockers are stocked. , assault rifles,Machine guns, Shotguns, side arms, drones, rocket launcher,ATGM, grenade,flashbang,MAN-PAD,Plasma rigs, kinetic rifles, arc-blade, kinetic blade, Tesla guns, and many more. A few experimental prototype weapons are with us but are still being tested before we can determine to use it during emergencies,we also have 3x AH 64E Apache which has been upgraded with GOC tech and thaumology,we also have 4 Lancer Tank, several IFV,and 3 APC, which can be deployed using AI, or remote control,we also have thousands of Drones of different variants ready to be deployed.
Reiss muttered, "Great. At least we won't be throwing rocks if something knocks."
He paused. "Assessment team?"
Alvarez answered this time. "Already deployed an hour ago. Dressed in Blacksuit which fits the civillian clothing in Japan . No weapons shown, but armed with concealed Assault rifles with Fuchsia Bullets, Kinetic Blade, Communicator, and VERITAS. Which currently they're checking and exploring Tokyo which is nearby considering we're embedded near a mountain near Tokyo
"Initial findings?"
"We're in Japan as we know, sir. Remote forested area, apparently near a rural Shinto shrine. No signs of us being detected. Facility remains cloaked via thaumic obfuscation grid. But we do detect some kind of barriers and energy around the shrine similar like in our world"
Reiss exhaled, leaning on the central table. "So far, so good. Keep them moving slow. I don't want anything to jumpscare before we know what's the condition of this world, which continue as you planned "
Which Alvarez and the other nodded
"Understood."
Meanwhile soon The lights dimmed slightly as the thaumic grid stabilized. Status reports kept flowing across holo-displays. Data was coming in slow, but steady. Which Reiss soon dismissed them.
Meanwhile soon after they left,Reiss soon take a deep breath.
Which Unknown to the inhabitants of the world. The Incident that sent this facility with 120 will change The world's fate will change drastically thanks to this facility which belongs to The UNGOC

Japan,Tokyo
The city of Tokyo bustled as usual, humming , pedestrians flowing like rivers through zebra-striped crossings, people eating, the sound of panchiko machine being played is heard,—neon signs flaring in the evening haze, voices layered in overlapping soundscapes, and the ever-present scent of grilled street food wafting through the narrow alleys. Despite it look like a typical day,The GOC assessment team blended with the civillian surprisingly well. With the Blacksuit Helping them look like typical Civilian. Even though the Blacksuit can survive multiple rounds. Which they also had been equipped with GOC universal translator device so that they can read and understand Japanese.
Meanwhile The team walked in a staggered pattern, loosely spaced, eyes scanning constantly—not in paranoia, but in protocol. Each one had a Veritas unit disguised as a pocket scanner or modified eyewear—picking up Aura energy level, life signatures or life energy that is Emit by any living creatures,it also scan heat signatures, energy fields, latent thaumic traces, and the ever-faint hum of reality distortion. It tagged locals as "HUMAN – BASELINE," blinked across their HUDs.
"Human...human...huh nothing about anomalies," muttered Agent Yaren, his sunglasses masking the soft green glow of the Veritas feed. "Which from the looks of it there isn't much or any anomalies here"
" Yeah same" came a reply from Agent Tse, eyes glued to her wrist-mounted readout. "VERITAS hasn't detected anything considered anomalous. Passive readings. Nothing we'd flag back home."
A few students brushed past them, laughing, phones out, oblivious to the heavy stares and high-end GOC-grade scanning tech watching their every move.
Then, Agent Corvin, a broad-shouldered man with a grumpy disposition and a scar cutting across his chin, leaned in close to Tse and whispered under his breath:
"…how the hell did we even end up in Japan?"
Tse arched an eyebrow but kept walking.
"No idea," she muttered back. "One moment I was bored out of my mind drinking synth-coffee on standby. Next, my lungs nearly collapsed from that shockwave."
"Great. I always wanted to visit Japan," Corvin grunted. "Didn't expect to get isekai'd with paperwork."
Tse smirked faintly. "Could be worse."
"How.. ?" Corvin muttered, tilting his head.
"You could be with strike team Blitzkrieg. They're stuck patrolling back at the perimeter. I heard Eldric already threatened to shoot a squirrel."
Corvin snorted.
Tse sighed. "Let's not pick a fight with anything yet please before we can confirm something."
Corvin chuckled. "No promises."

Later...
Meanwhile with Assesment team 967 Codename Alleyway Hunters was currently on another side of Tokyo, which currently the 4 members Assesment team was checking
Through some alleyways, which their leader
Agent Lizzy, codename Choker soon asked her team
"Anything ?"
"Nope"
"Got nothing "
"Well Damnit!" Which Lizzy soon kicked a nearby box, which soon suddenly her VERITAS detected something
>Ping
[UNKNOWN LIFE SIGNATURE DETECTED!!!,NOT IN DATABASE]
Which soon Lizzy comment
"Hell yeah, got one"which she soon dash towards where VERITAS was pinging the target
Which one of teammates,Dufh comment in an Irish Accent
"Ya know, lizzy Reiss told us to observe not hunt down any Entity for awhile considering the fact we just landed in a different world "
"Yeah-yeah if you don't want to hunt the entity, that mean more for me"
"Oh hell no Lad, I'm getting a shot as well"
Which lizzy just Snickers.
---
Meanwhile soon the team arrived at an abandoned factory, which the building was
tucked between a forgotten freight line and rows of derelict apartment blocks, which the building now loomed like a steel skeleton against the grey skyline. Which it's look like has been abandoned for a decade, which the time had eaten the factory and neglect had claimed it long ago; now it was a monument to rust and silence.
"You know this looks like a setting for a horror movie or a horror game, with us being the main characters going to enter it" said by Fritz callsign : Slip
" Slip please don't jinx us" which the one that responded to Fritz was Averd.
"I still have nightmares you know of you jinxing us" which Averd was shivering remembering the last time Frirz accidentally jinxed them.
Meanwhile soon they entered the area which the outer perimeter of the factory had a warped chain-link fence, which they just busted through. Meanwhile Hand-painted "KEEP OUT — DANGER" signs dangled uselessly, swaying in the breeze like wind-chimes of faded warning.
"Huh it's feel like we were in that operation when we were hunting KTE-7647 Blue-Type after hr started going mad"
Which inside the floor was a mosaic of oil stains, scattered bolts, and brittle leaves blown in from the outside. Old conveyor belts sat frozen mid-process, wrapped in vines and spiderwebs. Machines the size of small trucks — lathes, presses, rollers — were coated in thick grime, some draped with yellowed plastic sheets.
Meanwhile VERITAS was continuing Pinging, which they can see the Threat Entity is behind this room. Which VERITAS can't identify what type of target it is.
Meanwhile before they continue, thry checked their guns first, which Mags full, grenade on standby.
Meanwhile soon the the team stacked up around the corroded steel door.
VERITAS kept pulsing quietly in their HUDs:
> [UNKNOWN LIFE SIGNATURE —]
[WARNING: NO MATCH IN CURRENT DATABASE]
[THREAT LEVEL: UNDEFINED]
Agent Lizzy flicked her wrist, cycling to AR combat mode — a thin layer of shimmering runes overlaying her vision.
"Alright," she whispered. "Slip, Averd, Dufh — tight entry. I want fire on target if it so much as breathes funny."
Fritz 'Slip' chuckled nervously. "Define funny."
"Anything that looks like your mother, Fritz."
Which Fritz sweatdropped, while dufh laughed which Dufh muttered, Irish accent thickening under stress:
"Let's just hope it's some homeless bloke on a binge that has magic... and not another bloody spawn with twelve mouths."
Averd shuddered. "Still got burn scars from the last one."
Soon they moved — Lizzy flicked two fingers at the locking mechanism. Her arc-blade hissed softly, slicing through the rusted hinges with surgical precision.
> 3... 2... 1— BREACH!
The door swung inward with a shriek of tortured metal.
---
Inside:
A wide maintenance room — skeletal shelves stacked with decayed boxes, cracked fluorescent tubes hanging askew from the ceiling.
And in the center —
A girl.
Late teens by appearance — pale skin, black hair in long waves, in a tattered school uniform, barefoot, standing perfectly still. Her back was to them.
> [UNKNOWN LIFE SIGNATURE STILL LOCKED — HIGH DENSITY]
[NO HUMAN BIOMETRIC MATCH — CAUTION ADVISED]
Lizzy froze mid-step.
"...civilian? Wait no Lizzy she's an anomaly stay focus" she whispered
Slip squinted through his visor. "Not reading baseline... not human."
Dufh's VERITAS pinged again — warning glyphs pulsing red.
"Definitely not bloody human, Liz."
Lizzy kept her rifle trained. "Hold formation. I'll try a verbal contact first. Safety off."
She stepped forward, changing her tone into an order tone :
"THIS IS AN OFFICIAL GLOBAL OCCULT COALITION UNIT. YOU ARE IN A RESTRICTED ZONE. COMPLY OR WE WILL HAVE RESTRAIN YOU OR WORST ELIMINATE YOU !!!."
"Which You. Turn around. Slowly. Hands visible."
A pause.
No movement.
The girl's shoulders twitched — a shiver rippling unnaturally down her spine.
Then she spoke
A dry, cracked voice, layered with strange harmonics, poured from her throat — a voice that seemed to scrape against the air:
"Well hello...there.."
All four rifles locked up instantly.
Slip hissed: "Well. That's bloody new."
Lizzy didn't blink. "Last warning. Comply or be neutralized."
The girl slowly... turned.
Then the smile split across her face — wider than anatomy allowed. Too wide. Which soon the girls revealed two wings, which her skin colour turns to gray and soon a loud shriek was released, which the girls soon had 2 more arms
VERITAS flashed across all their HUDs:
> [UNKNOWN-BASED LIFEFORM — HOSTILE INTENT DETECTED]
[ENGAGE IMMEDIATELY — THREAT PROTOCOL ALPHA]
Lizzy: "Engage!"
---
The room immediately erupted in gunfire.
Lizzy and Slip opened with high-velocity Fuchsia rounds — their pink-glowing tracers slamming into the entity's torso, punching ragged holes through the fabric of the school uniform. The entity staggered — but didn't fall.
Averd fired a kinetic burst grenade through he's grenade launcher that's attached to his assault rifle— the shockwave blowing chunks of concrete from the floor injuring the Thing as well.
Dufh was already moving, blade out, incanting under his breath to power the kinetic edge:
"By iron and oath, be bound!"
The devil hissed, leaping backward onto a ceiling beam in one unnatural motion — limbs bending wrong, clinging spider-like to the beam.
It laughed — a high, distorted shriek that made the team's audio filters spike.
Slip (snarling):
"Well this is getting annoying as hell chap"
Lizzy triggered her comms:
"Team 967 to Base. Anomaly found in world,i repeat ANOMALY found in world,Engaging now — threat active!"
---
The devil launched itself off the beam — moving faster than any human could track. But the team was ready.
Averd tagged it mid-air with a Tesla grenade — the burst of arcing electricity sending the creature crashing to the floor in a twitching heap.
Dufh was on it in seconds, blade striking down — but the devil screamed, and with a burst of black flame, vanished — reappearing further down the hall.
Which the girl reveal her claws
Which it was staring down at slip
Slip growled. "Wanna bet?" Which he soon pointed his gun at her
Which soon the fight continued — a brutal dance of claws and bullets, wards and flame. The factory echoed with each impact, steel groaning, ancient dust churning.
But the GOC was trained and prepared for this, especially the fact the team was experienced personnel.
As Lizzy pressed the fight, eyes cold, she soon thrown two R16 standard issue GOC Frag Grenades
she smirked under her breath
"Welcome to Earth, bitch. We brought friends."
Which soon blows up and the grenade release it's frags
"BOOM"
Which the frags hit the devil, which it immediately dashed away
reappearing further down the factory floor — panting, leaking ichor from multiple wounds.
> [ENTITY STATUS: WOUNDED — STILL HOSTILE]
Lizzy barked:
"Don't let it get away!!"
Slip switched magazines in a blink — loading an electric Fuchsia mag. The faint hum of the rounds priming filled his headset.
"Eat this, you shadowy twat."
He fired — a short controlled burst. The rounds soon strike the devil, which an electric shock was received which the devil staggered again,.
Dufh (grinning):
"Ha! Take that you bitch!"
Averd didn't speak — which he soon fire Multiple rounds once more at the devil finally killing it
---
Later....
Team 967 pulled back, stacking near the door.
Slip exhaled hard, checking his mag.
"Well... that was a party."
Averd wiped ichor off his helmet.
"First blood in this world huh. Reiss'll probably want a full report."
Dufh glanced at the corpse.
"Yeah probably,And tell him to bring a truck, Ptolemy might be interested with our findings "
---
Back at GOC Horizon Base,
Director Reiss' Office
Reiss was leaning against the holo-table when the report came through.
"Director — Team 967 just uploaded. Confirmed hostile entity. Local origin. Unknown Type of Threat VERITAS doesn't know what it is."
Reiss froze mid-sip of synth-coffee.
"What!!!, Patch me through to 967 NOW!!."
Meanwhile soon the The screen flickered — which Dufh helmet cam came up showing lizzy
Reiss leaned in.
"Agent Lizzy. Give me the short version."
"Hostile entity encountered in derelict structure. Human disguise, we've finished her off"
Reiss pinched the bridge of his nose.
"And this is native?"
"Confirmed, sir. Entity spoke in local metaphysical dialects. No external bleed detected. Full biological and thaumic scan confirms native manifestation — not an interloper."
A pause.
Reiss (grim):
"Congratulations, Team 967. You've just confirmed we are in a world with its own paranormal entities."
Alvarez muttered beside him.
"Well, there goes our vacation."
Reiss ignored him.
"Prioritize containment and analysis. I want the full report cross-referenced against our entire Threat Entity database within the hour. And prep the STRIKE teams — we may not be alone out here after all."
Lizzy saluted.
"Understood. 967 out."
---
As the feed cut, Reiss leaned back in his chair, rubbing his temples.
"Well shit looks like we're in another world where Anomalies do still exist,shit....."
He glanced sideways at Alvarez.
"You still want to be the one explaining this to Madam Al Fine?"
Alvarez paled.
"I'll start writing my will."
Reiss smirked, then spoke to the room.
"Alright people — update all threat level alerts. New directive: assume native anomalous ecosystem. Assume hostile potential. No one goes topside alone anymore. Welcome to our new home away from home."

[Scene: Abandoned Factory — Exterior → Interior]
Time: 2 Hours After Team 967 Encounter
Personnel Present: Director Reiss, Alvarez, Team 967, Containment & Science Unit
The sound of an armored GOC tactical transport truck rumbled through the cracked asphalt near the factory. The vehicle — matte black, runic seals faintly glowing under the plating — came to a halt beside the warped fence.
The door hissed open.
Director Reiss stepped down, coat fluttering in the night wind. Behind him, Alvarez followed, tablet in hand.
The pair entered the factory — stepping past broken signs and rusting machinery.
The industrial stink of old oil, ozone, and a faint charred-metal scent lingered in the air — residue from the fight. Which they can see multiple bullet holes and casing
Meanwhile soon they found Lizzy's team standing in a defensive perimeter around a corpse of what had once been a young woman now shimmered — her features frozen mid-scream, limbs gnarled with bone-like growths and black spines.
Reiss stopped in front of the field, arms folded.
He stared in silence for a long moment.
Meanwhile Alvarez soon spoke quietly.
"Sir, with your permission, we've already prepped containment transport. The thaumologists and science team back at the base are ready to run a full autopsy which they're pretty much grinning when they heard it"
"Do it. Move her carefully. I want no thaumic bleed or secondary contact risk." Reiss pointed a finger sharply.
"Understood, sir."
Meanwhile Reiss soon sighed and thought
'Where the fuck we've landed'
