Chapter 17 - CHAPTER 12 : Kiss Me Like It’s the End of Time

**Author's Note – Aish, Your Queen of Sinful Whispers 🖤**

My little burning stars, you've walked with Aanya and Veer through whispers, scars, and broken mirrors. But tonight... it isn't horror that'll hunt you. It's the way his breath catches when her fingers trace his wounds. It's the way she wants him—against every rule of the House.

Welcome to Chapter 12, where love dares to bloom in cursed soil. Where a kiss may save... or destroy.

Let the haunting romance begin.

---

**Recap of Chapter 11:**

Aanya found the forbidden door. Veer begged her not to open it. But the whispers were stronger. When the mirror cracked, it showed a girl—not her—but with *her* face, whispering truths not yet born. Veer confessed he knew her before she arrived. And now, memories ache to rise from the grave.

---

**Aanya's POV**

The candle between them flickered, casting liquid gold on Veer's face. Shadows curled at the edges of the library like gossiping spirits—but Aanya only saw him.

The silver ring on his hand shimmered as he closed the book.

"There's something I need to show you," Veer said, voice low. "But not here."

She hesitated. Her black robe slid slightly down her shoulder, the silk of her camisole catching his eyes. His breath faltered. Just once.

He looked away.

"Come with me."

---

**Veer's POV**

He led her down the corridor lit with half-dead lanterns, past the music room, into an old drawing room long untouched.

He clicked open a secret compartment behind the dusty fireplace. Inside—a sketch.

Of her.

"I drew this three years ago," he whispered. "Before we met. Before you arrived. But you were in my dreams... every night."

Her fingers touched the paper. Her lips trembled.

"I was in your dreams?"

"And nightmares."

She turned to him. His shirt was slightly open at the chest, revealing the old scar—the one shaped like the House's cursed symbol. Aanya stepped closer.

"Then kiss me like it's the end of time," she whispered.

His hand rose to her face.

He didn't answer with words.

Their lips met.

It wasn't soft.

It was *ancient.*

Like their mouths remembered each other before language was born.

**Romantic Flashback: A Past Life?**

A courtyard in rain.

A girl in white.

A boy bleeding from the chest.

She kissed him before the curse claimed them.

She promised—*"Find me again."*

---

**Back to Present**

Aanya gasped as she pulled away.

"I... I saw it. You died. You were protecting me."

Veer held her tighter.

"It's happening again, Aanya. That's why the whispers returned. Why the House woke up."

He pressed his forehead to hers.

"But this time, I won't lose you."

She leaned into him. No ghosts. No rituals.

Just lips.

And longing.

And the way the House seemed to pause...

Just for them.

---

**The House Responds**

A mirror in the next room cracked again—but gently.

Like it *approved.*

The fire behind them flared blue.

And in the walls...

something whispered:

*"Let them love. Let them fall. Let them burn."*

**Ending Author's Note – Aish, Keeper of Your Romantic Sins 💌**

My sweet sinful hearts, that kiss wasn't just a kiss. It was a *memory.* A spark. A curse broken—or awakened?

What do you think: Are Aanya and Veer reincarnated lovers?

Or is the House rewriting time itself to keep them?

Next Chapter: *His Blood, My Curse*– things get darker. Bloodlines are revealed. And someone will betray everything.

Until then, kiss gently. Or not at all.
