The other ladies were anxiously standing outside the door, waiting for the first lady to be out.
She was taking time before they were summoned in so they wondered what could be happening in there.
"Did she offend him or something?" One thought.
"If so we would have heard him yelling for her to be beheaded or something. I doubt that" Another explained.
"Then maybe is he enjoying her company alone? And doesn't need us?" Someone else suggested.
"Could be..."
While they were busy making such speculations, the door was pushed open and Eden walked out. Still in his disguise.
The girls had looked up at him, curious. But Eden didn't let them stare much.
He had placed a hand over his mouth and blew the powder over them. It was drugged and so the ladies fell to the floor, unconscious.
The guards around had also fallen unconscious to the drug. And so the road was clear for Eden to leave.
Lenny approached him "We should get going now. The path is clear"
Eden nodded. All he needed was to move in his attire and the guards around wouldn't suspect him much. And so he did.
Leaving through the main exit, still dressed up in the attire.
Some guards had tried stopping the suspicious "lady" who was leaving alone but Eden showed them Adrian's Plaque.
It was one of silver. And a symbol of Adriana's power and authority. Eden had stolen it from him inside while he was asleep.
And on seeing that, the guards didn't even dare stop Eden any further! It obviously belonged to The Grand Marquis so it was an automatic assumption that he got it from him.
And anyone with the plaque was automatically a representation of the grand marquis.
Eden walked away and headed for the pen where the horses were kept. Still with the plaque at hands he manipulated his way through and took off with a horse.
Eden had little experience in riding the horse from the modern era, so all he needed to do was hug onto the horse tightly as the horse made its way to the Royal Palace.
It was the night of the Royal Banquet.
"You know the way to the palace right?" Eden asked in a loud tone, trying to break through the wind that blew as he rode on the horse.
The cat firmly sat in front of him on the horse "Yes"
And so the two took off, heading to the palace that night. Hoping to get there on time.

Eden knew he couldn't step into the Banquet wearing a jarring and proactive attire. He would draw attention even before entering.
So he had to stop at a clothing shop to pick up a cloth to change into.
Still on the veil, Eden had picked out the most benefitting cloth from the ones the lady selling presented.
All were high-quality fabric attire.
He selected one which was yellow in colour. Elegant to match his blonde hair and skin.
And afterwards he requested to make use of her bathroom to clean up and change.
Eden was soon done and dressed in the attire. He still had the veil on. Eden was still cautious about being recognised as the Wizard.
He knew everything was out to kill him.
"You look elegant, young master" The lady complimented.
Dave smiled as he stared at the full-length mirror.
"Why don't you take off the veil sir?"
"I have an illness. So I have to have it on" Eden explained.
"Oh I see."
It was time to make the payment. And the lady had given him a run down to the golden coins he had to pay.
Eden knew he had nothing. He was broke as hell.
So he showed the lady the grand marquis plaque "Go to the Grand Marquis' residence for the money"
"Yes sir"
Eden smiled. It was easier than he thought.

The Royal Banquet was already in full swing. It was already filled up with nobles in the Royal Hall, the atmosphere bustling with people of status.
The Royal Hall stretched wild and tall, its ceilings glittering in gold leafed arches. The golden pillars Stood tall, elegant with glittering marbles adorning it.
Over hundreds of chandeliers hung about, bathing the room with its warm enchanting colours. As the candles that stood at distances added to the elegant lightning of the Hall.
Tables stood tall and alone. Adorned with different colours of damask clothes with intricate patterns woven. On them sat different drinks and delicacies. Filling the air with its nourishing scent coupled with the flower-like scent that filled the hall.
The mood in this Royal Hall was grand and formal. Murmurs filled the room beneath the musical strings of the violin that floated the hall. Glasses clicked as soft laughers lavished the hall room.
It was another typical setting for a Royal Banquet. And the king stood with his second wife, greeting some nobles that came to speak with him.
"I'm curious, I haven't seen the Crown prince around. I wonder where he might be" A chubby male noble said to the king, looking around.
The king frowned, looking around. He too didn't understand why the crown prince wasn't here.
"I guess he's getting ready" The King excused.
"Is that so?" Another lady that stood in the King's company expressed "I thought on such occasions the Crown prince is supposed to be early at least"
The second wife of the king smiled softly "Our Dear Crown Prince Elvis is like that. He tends to be late to some occasions. We can't really do much about the habit can we?"
It was obvious what her intentions were. She was trying to paint the crown prince dirty in disguise.
"I suppose not" The lady shrugged.
The king was still pissed off as he signaled to his side. And then he whispered to him.
"Go and call in the crown prince, right now" He ordered.
"Yes" The guard nodded as he turned and left the royal hall, heading to the crown Prince's chamber to call for him.
