After Abner was done with his interview, where he omitted a few things like his aspect evolving or his flaw,
He left the academy and headed home to see his family; he wasn't a legacy or someone from the outskirts; his family was completely ordinary; at least that's what he tried to convince himself.
His family had been informed of his awakening and were waiting for him as he entered his delinquent little brother was "pretending" to hate him again by cursing him and trying to punch him as soon as he saw Abner.
Abner just dodged his clumsy punches and while continually ignoring his curses, hugged him, happily saying, "I missed you, little brother! You didn't bully anyone while I was gone, did you?"
His brother didn't respond to his questions and instead demanded, "Let me go, you bastard! Couldn't you die in the dream realm instead of coming back here!?"
Abner sighed and thought as he looked at his brother, who was so angry at seeing him alive that his face turned red, 'He's acting like such a Tsundere his whole face is red; he must have missed me a bunch!'
Their mother, a complete pushover, soon saw them and rushed to hug Abner, exclaiming how happy she is about his return with teary eyes.
Their father was probably out gambling or drinking, but he was bound to arrive eventually.
As Abner spent the day with his family, he prayed to Arthur before sleeping; he already did while in the academy and got no response, but he kept trying; perhaps one day his prayers would reach him.
As he lay in bed, Abner thought to himself, 'I still can't believe it, but I'm out of the forgotten shores; we really did it'
As Abner peacefully fell asleep, Arthur was in a completely different situation as he cursed himself out loud,
"This is what I get for putting my friends first!? No good deed goes unpunished, it seems, tsk! I can't even hate myself when I've got such a handsome face! Just who am I supposed to blame!? Weaver? Yea, everything is his fault, that bastard!"
Arthur sighed as he summoned his echo, the Hounds of Fulgrim by now they were awakened demons after defeating Abner; his magician Potion had been digested.
Trusting them to guard him, he went to sleep thinking, 'Still no prayers; they must either not be very faithful to me or they are too far away, and I can't hear them. Why does this have a distance limit, anyway!?'
Frustrated, Arthur barely managed to fall asleep.
Abner woke up and summoned his runes.

Abner sighed, looking at his flaw, thinking, 'Does the Dreamscape count? I will buy a capsule and see later.'
Abner didn't dwell on it too much and went to have breakfast with his family. His mother seemed happy, probably because he returned; his brother was glancing at him not so subtly as he cursed him under his breath.
His father didn't even notice him as he played a gacha game, hoping for a 5-star, good-looking heroine in his phone game.
Abner, who also played too many gatcha games before he was sent to the dream realm, thought to himself,
'I really took after him a lot; at least I don't drink or smoke, not that it would matter much to an awakened like me.'
After finishing his meal, he praised his mother's cooking. Although he had some food at the academy, it was still recently that his diet expanded beyond just monster meat after three years in the forgotten shores.
Abner saw his brother leaving somewhere; he briefly stopped him and smiled, cracking his knuckles slightly.
"Say you wouldn't happen to be going somewhere to do something bad, are you? Did you continue that bullying habit of yours while I wasn't looking? Surely not..."
His delinquent brother shivered as he vehemently denied. Abner knew he was likely lying but chose to believe his brother.
Besides, he probably didn't mean to hurt anyone; he's just a Tsundere expressing his emotions with violence! That's what Abner convinced himself of, anyway.
Since Abner had an abundance of memories, he was planning to sell some of them. Kaelen offered to buy them from him at a higher price than what they are worth. 'Really, that guy treats money like dirt,' Abner thought.
After closing the deal, Abner brought a bigger house for his family to live in with a secure underground room that seemed more like a bunker;
He planned to have his Dreamscape pod there, and in case a gate break happens, let his family use it as a hiding spot.
Abner had already been anchored to another citadel of his choice; he picked Raven Heart along with Brave to leisurely test his new aspect on some Dormant and Awakened beasts before he fought with a stronger nightmare creature with it.
He also wanted to control his essence more proficiently before fighting with fallen creatures one on one.
As the days passed, his Dreamscape pod finally arrived, and after installing it in his basement, he eagerly entered the Dreamscape.
Abner struggled to choose his name as all of what he said was already taken until inspiration hit him: "Attendant of Mysteries, Abner!"
His name was registered, and finally he entered the dreamscape. His friends were waiting for him here: Naamah, Glorielle, Kaelen and Brave
Alec, as a government awakened, was quite busy, so he couldn't come.
Brave was the first to greet him. "Hey Abner, so do you really think your flaw won't work if you fight here?"
Abner shrugged, "Well, it's worth a try."
As Abner challenged Glorielle to a duel, he fought, and his flaw didn't stop him!
Abner smiled as he thought, 'Yes! With this, I won't need to risk my life in combat just to practice essence control or practice with my aspect!'
They didn't gather much attention because there was no one to give them any.
This was a private server owned by Kaelen When Abner heard him casually say that he can train here for free since they are friends, Abner just nodded, thinking,
A private server here can't even be brought with money! To treat this so casually, he really is a spoiled rich kid!'
As Abner spent a few weeks like this, getting used to his new aspect and becoming an awakened, he finally decided to change citadels to fight stronger enemies.
Brave agreed to join him along with Glorielle while Naamah would only sporadically join them as she was more focused on becoming an author.
