Chapter 8 - chapter 8 : The Black House

Codename: Operation Widow Pulse

Truth is never handed over. It must be stolen from the hands of giants.

------

Location: Hidden Resistance Command Cell – Subsurface Bunker, Earth Exo-Zone 07

A low hum from recycled air vents pulsed through the dimly lit chamber. Flickering holoscreens reflected off tired eyes. This was no briefing. This was the edge of war drawn in digital lines and whispered bets.

Seer'ah stood before a large schematic projected in midair—an ever-shifting 3D render of the White House. But this wasn't the one known to the public. This one included a deep, red, encrypted zone at its very bottom. The hidden vault: The Black House.

---

The Real Plan Begins :

Seer'ah (measured, sharp):

"After Sorius Vexis refused our demands, we begin Phase Zero. The true objective—stealing back the truth."

James (raising a brow):

"I thought kidnapping Rayne was Phase Zero."

Seer'ah (flat):

"That was bait. Nothing more. The real mission begins now."

Soy nodded beside her, silently confirming everything.

Seer'ah:

"Underneath the White House lies a classified vault built during the early Human-Dra alliance. No one talks about it. No one is allowed to access it. We call it The Black House."

Tichala (arms crossed):

"Rumor says it's fused into a triple-layered military AI with reactive encryption. If you try to hack it, the entire system burns itself."

Seer'ah:

"Correct. But we're not hacking it—we're unlocking it. From the inside."

------

Step 1: The Conn-Class Terminal

Soy (activating schematics):

"To access the Black Safe, we need a Custom-Class Conn Terminal—an ultra-tier computing node once used during the Mars Offensive."

Tichala:

"But aren't those things banned after the Treaty Split?"

James:

"I thought they were wiped out."

Seer'ah:

"No. They weren't destroyed. They're just... out of civilian reach. After the war, only high-security military divisions on Earth and Mars were allowed to keep them. But their components? Scattered, buried, recycled."

Soy:

"We can build one from scratch."

Tichala:

"That's madness."

Soy (tilting his head):

"Not if we steal the pieces."

------

Components of the Conn Terminal

The Conn Terminal was once the most powerful tool in the UN-Dra joint arsenal. Capable of decrypting fourth-gen live firewalls, warping organic data lattices, and synchronizing thought-pulse algorithms. It was outlawed because it worked too well.

To rebuild it, the team needs:

Quantum Entanglement Core

Phase-Memory Crystal Array

Reversible Neuro-Matrix Drivers

BlackBox Firewall Converters

Hyperconductive Resonance Tubes

All of which are still manufactured—in fragments—for other military uses: reactor cooling systems, orbital drone AIs, anti-grav tanks.

------

Target: RaveLight Systems

Seer'ah:

"All paths lead to one place. The black-ops contractor that makes every banned device they swore didn't exist."

Company Name: RaveLight Systems

Location: Buried beneath a decommissioned nuclear facility

CEO: Unknown

Public Status: Legally invisible

Output:

Military AIs

Cloaked drones

Energy-based suppression weapons

Encrypted Portal Systems

Hybrid genome modulators

Soy:

"They hold the parts. We take them."

Tichala (whistles):

"You want to rob a place the UN pretends doesn't exist?"

Seer'ah (smirking):

"That's why it'll work."

------

Step 2: White House Infiltration

What do you think Conn Terminal is the door But the Conn terminal is just the key. The real door is inside the White House. Beneath the main presidential complex lies a secret biometric vault — the Black House — accessible only through an abandoned geothermal shaft known in outdated blueprints as Apex Subgrid D.

Seer'ah:

"We infiltrate the White House. Cloaked. Silently. Through Apex D. From there we descend to the Biometric Core Room — the final lock to reach the Black House."

Tichala:

"And the lock?"

Seer'ah (serious now):

"It's not a lock. It's a living firewall."

------

Step 3: The Organic AI Gatekeeper

Seer'ah:

"During early Earth–Dra alliance phases, they created an AI fused with Dra'vahi cerebral tissue. It evolved — became self-aware, bound to a quantum field, and was buried inside a vault."

Name: UN-Fused Sentience Unit "Mira"

Function: Intent-reading, emotion-detecting, multi-layered memory-preserving AI

Form: Suspended in chemical stasis, networked to the White House firewall

Tichala (horrified):

"You mean we have to convince a thinking creature to let us in?"

Seer'ah:

"No. We just need to trick it."

------

Rayne's DNA – The Secret Bypass

Seer'ah:

"Rayne carries his father's blood. Sorius is encoded into the AI's registry. If Rayne approaches it, there's a chance the AI will mistake him for the president and unlock the chamber."

James:

"And if it doesn't?"

Seer'ah (flat):

"It'll crush his windpipe."

------

Final Step: Escape via SNT – Satellite Neuron Teleportation

Seer'ah:

"Once we're in, and the files are copied, the entire system will self-wipe in four minutes. We'll use our only wildcard — the SNT."

System Name: Satellite Neuron Teleportation (SNT)

Function: Emergency escape system developed during the Deep-War phase

Activation Window: 1.55 seconds

Risk: Any interference will result in thermal overrun – internal temperatures spike to 5000°C. Human body becomes ash in milliseconds.

The SNT doesn't teleport you. It rips you out of space before gravity reclaims you. It is light converted into escape. But fail to sync your bio-signal, and it turns from portal... to pyre.

---

Final Exchange

Tichala (sighing):

"So... we break into the White House, outsmart a living AI, steal pre-war truth, and escape through a suicide satellite?"

Seer'ah (grinning):

"Sounds fun, right?"

James:

"We're so dead."

Soy (quietly):

"Maybe. But at least we'll die free."

-----

First task : Ravelight systems

Tichala leaned back, eyebrows raised. "That's it? That's the whole plan? Feels... small."

Soy smirked. "That's not the plan. That's the blueprint. A skeleton. The real thing is a hundred times dirtier."

He walked to the table, dragging his hand across a digital schematic. A glowing web of red, blue, and encrypted yellow pathways flickered into place.

Soy:

"The first task is getting the components we need to build the Custom Conn Terminal. And for that... we hit RaveLight Systems."

The room fell quiet. Even James straightened up.

Soy:

"RaveLight isn't just a tech firm—it's a ghost. No corporate registry. No front company with public accounts. Its existence is scrubbed clean. But underground? It's the nervous system of the post-war military-industrial complex."

He pointed at the rotating 3D structure hovering above the table.

Soy:

"The facility is hidden beneath a decommissioned nuclear energy complex—classified as 'unstable waste zone'. No civilian entry. Protected by automated kill-drones, recycled war cyborgs, and a localized EMP net to fry unrecognized tech. Standard entry is suicide."

Tichala frowned. "So what's our entry?"

Soy tapped a panel.

Soy:

"We drill in—below ground, through the old Exo-Zone pipeline channels. We'll hit them from underneath and avoid most surface defense protocols. But once inside, expect military-grade security AIs, active defense bots, and maybe... worse."

James:

"Wait, worse than bots?"

Soy:

"Yeah. RaveLight ran hybrid projects after the war. Rumors say they've got bio-cyber symbiotes guarding internal data cores. Not all of them are... stable."

He zoomed in on a narrow exit tunnel at the facility's edge.

Soy:

"Our exit's through a failed mining tunnel that leads into the EXO Blackline. That place is toxic for regular patrols. Even the military avoids that stretch unless they absolutely have to."

Seer'ah (low voice):

"So if things go loud, that'll be our only way out."

Tichala (grumbling):

"Let me guess—we're expecting a fight?"

Soy:

"We're planning like there won't be one. But we're bringing weapons in case reality disagrees."

Soy (standing tall, glancing across the dim room):

"Now that you all know the plan—and our first task—let me introduce you to each other. Many of you already know one another, but for those who don't… this is our team. The one that's going to break into the most secure vault in the world."

The Core Team : The leftovers unit zero

Soy : "We weren't chosen. We weren't supposed to live. We were left behind… and still stood up"

---

1. Kruu – Neuro-Tech Engineer / Code Alchemist

A gaunt, wiry man with a shaved head and circuit-veins pulsing under translucent skin. Neural tattoos glow faintly like constellations down his neck. His pupils twitch constantly—tracking invisible code.

Carries: A spinal decryptor unit mounted into his back, fused to his nervous system.

Seer'ah:

"He doesn't crack firewalls. He dissolves them."

Kruu (calmly):

"Digital gods bleed like any other."

---

2. Juno Vale – Infiltration & Silent Ops

Athletic build. Short silver hair buzzed close, eyes like glass mirrors. One arm is full synth-muscle, the other permanently wrapped in stealth-fabric. Her breath barely disturbs the air.

Carries: Microblade woven into bone, heat-cloaked boots, optic-suppressor rig.

Soy:

"She once disappeared inside a UN compound… and left the cameras running."

Juno (flatly):

"If I'm visible, it's because I want you to panic."

---

3. Rav D'mon – Ex-Battlefield Cyborg / Heavy Assault

A tank-shaped man. Over 6'7", frame wide as a riot shield. His arms are hybrid-forged—half-Dra, half-human alloy. Glowing core nodes pulse in his chest plate. His voice rumbles like low thunder.

Carries: Arm-mounted plasma claws, impact-resistant skin mesh, nano-bracelets capable of redirecting kinetic energy.

Seer'ah:

"His job is to break everything that stands. Doors. Walls. Soldiers. Hope."

Rav (gruff):

"I don't kill fast. I kill completely."

---

4. Nia Kortez – AI Linguist / Subnet Ghost

A tall woman with braided black hair, glowing lines traced across her jaw like veins of neon. Her gloves are coded with biometric filaments for direct AI interfacing.

Carries: Voiceprint disruptors, a fingertip EMP sting, and a voice that can crash low-level AIs.

Soy:

"She made an AI kill itself once… just by talking to it."

Nia (smirking):

"I don't break code. I make it beg."

---

5. Daaz "Needle" Veron – Under-Tunnel Engineer / Exo-Driller

A wiry, dust-covered man with a scrappy beard and goggles welded to his forehead. Missing two fingers. Smells faintly of synth-oil and explosives.

Carries: Nano-drill unit strapped to his spine, thermal anchor claws, and 3D sonar vision implants.

Seer'ah:

"Put him in front of a kilometer of steel, and he'll find a way to make it vanish."

Needle:

"Explosions? Just exclamation marks."

---

6. Zyn Korr – Cloak Operative / Ghost Unit

Medium height, completely hairless, skin tinted silver with adaptive nano-coating that flickers when you stare too long. Movements are fluid, catlike, inhuman.

Carries: Personal phase-bender, soft-step gel soles, speech modulator to imitate voices.

Soy:

"He's not invisible. He's forgettable. There's a difference."

Zyn (softly):

"You don't notice I'm gone until your pulse flatlines."

---

7. Eira Drahn – Bio-Medic / Hybrid Support

Tall and ethereal, with pale emerald skin and Dra symbols tattooed across her arms. Carries herself like a priestess but moves like a soldier.

Carries: DNA stabilizer syringes, bloodline remappers, field trauma patches that glow under stress.

Seer'ah:

"She's not just the medic. She's our DNA firewall."

Eira (softly):

"If I bleed for you, you better survive."
