Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Sixth Metal, Armor-Piercing Star Iron

"Please, you must trust me," Alan said solemnly. "I am a graduate of the Grand College of Mystical Shenanigans, majoring in fortune-telling and bone-reading."

Fortunately, there were two Amazon warriors guarding the cell; otherwise, Alan would have surely been bored to death. He looked at the dark-skinned female warrior with a serious expression. "Your aura is dark and murky, and a foul air is covering your head. You must be very well-endowed." Alan stared at her chest, at the bulging leather breastplate, and nodded heavily. "A very dangerous sign."

"Antiope is dark-skinned. How can you tell if her aura is dark?" a younger female soldier at the side asked.

"The foul air has spread throughout her entire body." Alan looked relieved and responded in a pretentious manner. "Luckily she met me. For a small fee, I can help her resolve this."

"Artemis, do you believe everything a madman says?" Antiope couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"I think he's funny," Artemis acted quite lively and cheerful, not minding Alan's crazy appearance at all.

"Hey! You are trampling on my personality! How am I funny? I have always been difficult. Very, very difficult, okay?" Alan said this and straightened the coconut shell that had shifted on his chest. There were no men on Paradise Island, so he had been given prisoner clothes. Moreover, if the Amazons made mistakes, they would just be put in solitary confinement; there was no concept of prisoners at all.

"What's it like outside?" Artemis asked curiously.

"There are a bunch of old perverts out there who covet my beauty. Countries are fighting each other. Fortunately, Diana showed up in time to save me." Alan lowered his head and said shyly, "Her Royal Highness the Princess and I have already decided to spend our lives together. We have decided to be each other's forever-and-ever."

"…"

Artemis couldn't help but look at him with disdain. She and Diana were close friends. How could such a noble and pure princess fall in love with a mentally ill man?

"Diana was the one who took the initiative to pursue me." Alan leaned his elbow against the iron railing, with one hand on his waist, and said with a helpless and sweet tone, "At that time, it was a dark and windy night. Diana put the Sword of Vulcan to my neck and asked if I would agree to her love. If I didn't agree, she would kill me first and then choose to commit suicide, and we would go to hell together."

"Damn these male hormones. They really harm a lot of naive women," Alan did not forget to add. "I'm not afraid of death. I just don't want Diana to do anything stupid, so I reluctantly agreed to her."

"Well!"

"It's hard to be a human being, it's even harder to be a man, and it's even harder to be a man who is so charming that he can turn everyone upside down."

Listening to Alan's shameless words, the two women were so disgusted that their lips formed a 'W' shape. They believed that the princess would definitely kill him but would never commit suicide for him. The reason was likely that he was just that disgusting.

"I will kill you right now." Diana's voice came from the door. At this time, she and Nanaue had rushed back to release Alan and happened to hear some fierce and vicious words that made the veins on her forehead bulge. Fortunately, the person was locked up; otherwise, if the news spread all over Paradise Island, her reputation would be ruined.

"Your Highness, you are back!" Alan pursed his lips and said aggrievedly, "If it had been one o'clock in the evening, I might have lost my chastity. I was so scared at the time that I had made up my mind to protect my honor." He showed the Blade of Redemption in his hand, shook it, and said, "All the tools are ready. I can wield this sword at any time to defend myself."

"…"

You are such a cruel person. They had all thought Alan was going to say he would commit suicide, but instead, they realized he was thinking of castrating himself.

"Let him out." This guy was a bit much, but after all, he was a temporary teammate, and it was impossible to keep him in custody forever.

As the cell door opened, Alan flashed a nasty smile.

"Princess… My Lady… Your Highness…" Suddenly, Alan started running, but he maintained a slow speed, as if the video playback had been slowed down several times, and his expression gradually changed from affectionate to perverted. The whites of his eyes rolled up, and his tongue stuck out. It was as perverted as it could be, a complete pervert.

Diana and the two Amazon warriors grimaced with disgust when they saw this. As the distance got closer, Diana finally couldn't bear it anymore.

Swish!

The Sword of Vulcan was suddenly drawn out, and flames had already covered the blade. If Alan dared to rush over and hug her, Diana would kill him and cut him into pieces.

Smack!

As he approached, Alan decisively threw himself into Nanaue's arms, all because of the resolute look he had seen in Diana's eyes.

"Did Nanaue miss me?" When Alan looked up, he could only see Nanaue's huge chin.

"Yes," Nanaue opened his arms and said, "Nanaue was very worried about Master."

Looking at the tender scene between the man and the shark, Diana felt both relieved and disappointed. She had even had the thought of killing that guy with a sword.

"That's right," Alan asked in confusion. "Where's the Pirate King?" Based on Namor's strength in the water, Alan had never considered that he would die in battle.

"On the way back, I met the tribesmen who truly support him. Now they are reuniting to learn about the situation and are planning to meet up on an island," Diana explained.

Alan said firmly, "I smell the scent of conspiracy again."

"This time it should be correct." Diana briefly described what had happened along the way. "These Atlanteans are hiding on an island, completely cut off from the Ocean Kingdom. They look like wandering refugees, not like they are in disguise."

"Haven't you ever heard of a false flag operation?"

"What's a false flag?"

They met with Queen Hippolyta again. Hippolyta fully supported Diana's decision. She was Diana's mother and the queen of the Amazons, and it was difficult to choose either side. Hippolyta regarded this crisis as a test for her daughter. If the war could be resolved, she would surely gain recognition from the entire Amazon clan, and it would be natural for Diana to ascend the throne in the future.

"Mother, do you have any 7th Metal at home? If not, I'll make do with the 6th Metal," Alan asked.

Who is your mother? If it weren't for the fact that he was mentally ill, Hippolyta would have drawn her sword and chopped him into pieces.

"What do you want to do?" Hippolyta was shocked that Alan knew about the supernatural metals.

There are many metals in this world, among which the Ninth Metal is used by the gods to forge artifacts. The most typical one is Nth Metal, which can be found in the human world. The Eighth Metal also contains powerful power and is used by lesser old gods to make weapons. Paradise Island happened to have Amazonium, which was in the Eighth Metal category, but it was only used to make the bracelets worn by Diana, and there were some leftover scraps that they were reluctant to use. As for the Seventh Metal, it is called Magic Metal in the world. The Amazon warriors could not use it, so they did not collect or reserve it. The weapons that the Amazons were usually equipped with were made of the Sixth Metal, Star Iron, which had armor-piercing properties and was said to be able to hurt the gods.

"I want to build some equipment." Alan's Alchemist profession could not be wasted, so he directly asked Paradise Island for materials to create equipment that would allow him to breathe underwater in preparation for hunting the Trench Tribe.
