After their first loss, the team takes a moment to reflect and prepare for the challenges of the second floor.
Although they believe they have conquered the first floor, they remain unaware of Clark's omission that over twenty distinct chambers must be cleared to claim victory.
This floor has four tiers: tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, and tier 4, each hosting five chambers filled with formidable creatures.
In tier 1, monsters range from one to three meters tall, with a few rare ones reaching up to five meters.
As they advance to tier 2, they will encounter monsters growing to around ten meters, showcasing enhanced size, defenses, and abilities.
The differences from tiers three to four are even more drastic.
Spiders in these tiers possess diverse abilities; some can control their enemies' minds, while others create mirror images of foes with identical strengths.
Pill bugs can summon and hurl massive boulders, their chitinous armor as tough as steel and weighing multiple tons.
Centipedes can effortlessly devour meters-thick walls and slice through full suits of armor.
To the common folks, the lower floor of a dungeon typically signifies greater strength than the upper floor.
However, this dungeon is unique, as it is the first dungeon in the world.
Heroes who have cleared only three chambers can take on the second floor, but the first floor presents a different challenge altogether.
At its strongest, the second floor is only comparable to tier 2 monsters on the first.
This creates a complete contradiction, as the second floor is generally intended to be stronger.

"Yuki, Ren charge forward and kill the upcoming monsters!" Nagi ordered the two, while the girls prepared their spell.
While walking within the dungeon hallways, they met a 100-meter-long hallway filled with monsters gushing out endlessly.
It had been more than an hour since they started, yet no sign of the monsters declining.
Escape? It was not an option for them when they all turned to this area the exit was closed off by the dungeon, leaving them no choice but to fight.
Clark? He wasn't moving at all; he leaned on the very back of the room, watching the heroes fight the monsters coming their way, yawning from time to time, while sometimes sending out an attack.
The heroes were struggling to fight by now, their stamina, mana, and mental strength were about to hit rock bottom.
Although the tame monster of Nagi can help them regain some of it, it was still not enough and too slow to keep up, against the monster.
How about the ability it make an area with sleeping effects? Useless the monster in this area has stronger mental strength.
Every single one of the monsters has a mind stat around the number of 14-19 making the tame monster ability utterly useless right now.
"They're doing better than I thought," Clark told himself, watching the heroes fend off the monster, seeing a monster above the level 20, he sent out a mana bullet at it, killing it in one shot.
"That's dangerous for them," he said as he continued to watch the heroes again, looking over to the girls, who had exhausted their mana after casting multiple spells against the monster.
He wondered what they were planning now.
They have been sitting near each other while holding Mio's hands all this time and have not moved once since then.
Although he knew they were gonna cast magic once again, he was still confused about what the difference could make, since even if they used the last drop of their mana, they could barely clear a ten-meter range of monsters.
With all of this, he closed his eyes and tried to catch some sleep, while they continued to fight on their own.
...
A couple of minutes since then, Clark slowly opened his eyes and spotted the girls still in their position.
Looking down, he spotted the floor covered in the blood of the monster, while the heroes in front were covered in filth.
A couple of minutes more, Mio stood up and screamed: "Everyone move aside!" Then run off in the middle of the hallway with the two.
Mei and Koharu went in front, while Mio was behind them.
Seeing this the everyone else wondered what they were about to do, for doing something reckless without any explanation.
A second later, Mei and Koharu's mana appeared before them.
It floated in the air, then it formed into their elements.
Seeing this, Clark tried to guess what they were about to do.
As the two conjured their skills [ Water ball ] and [ Fireball ].
Mio would assist them to control these skills of theirs with her skill [ Mana manipulation. Level 3 ], to turn them into a skill like hers [ Wind Spear ].
As the second went by, the condensed Water ball began to sap the water within the air and the fallen monster around them.
To change it from what Mio wanted it to be.
The fireball's temperature rose the longer it stayed, and changed into another shape, melting its surroundings.
As the concentrated fire arrow takes its place, the heat begins to affect everyone within the hallway.
Nagi quickly used his special skill [ Tame ] to stabilize it, allowing Mio to continue what she was doing.
And he began to order his tame monster to supply the girls with his mana.
Seeing Nagi joining in with the girls, Ritsu went behind Mio and touched her back and whispered, "I'll help you with it."
Hearing those words, Mio remembered that among all of them, Ritsu had the best control of mana, allowing him to infuse his mana into the rocks he used for his slingshot and could even fuse it with Ren's wooden swords.
With Ritsu's help, Mio's control against the other girls' mana grew significantly higher, so that she was able to control the ( Water ) and ( Fire ) spear with a much greater difference than before.
Allowing her to concentrate their power into a single point, increasing their overall power.
Clark was smiling ear to ear seeing this, right now all five of the heroes before him were working together, he turned his sign into a corner.
Only two people were not helping by now, Yuki and Ren were standing still on the side waiting for them to complete what they were doing.
Without saying a word, Ren moved next to Mio and Ritsu and assisted them in controlling the two elements taking form.
Allowing them to finally make two highly concentrated power elements spear, and finally cast the last spell [ Wind spear ].
Creating a three-elemental spear: a combination of water, fire, and wind.
Then a problem came.
The magic spear before them was too strong for them to cast away from its position, even with everyone's help.
They panicked, and so did Clark. Seeing this, the magic that was scaring the monsters from them all this time began to threaten them with it.
As the monsters tried to attack again. Yuki stepped towards the three-element spear and stood right beside it.
Clark wondered what he was doing, even for a hero this much would kill him, if he's this reckless.
Yuki looked back at him then stared at the eyes of Ritsu, Mio, Ren, and Nagi.
Then grabbed the spear, shock and worries were the emotions on the people who could see this.
A second later, the unstable magic before them disappeared.
Its trace was gone completely, the heat, the wind, and the feeling of moisture being captured by the water spear were gone.
Then it reappeared before the fingers of Yuki.
His special skill [ Spear mastery. Lvl: max ] allowed him was not just the ability to know the spear technique itself.
But the ability to control all spears in existence and use them the way he wanted to be, and right now, the unstable magic spear that had threatened them before was in his hand, stable and under control.
The spear features an exquisitely crafted handle that resembles cracked obsidian, its dark surface gleaming under the light and exuding an air of elegance and mystery.
At the spear's apex, the spearhead is a masterpiece, showcasing a stunning display where fire, water, and wind converge in a dynamic dance.
The flames flicker in vibrant hues of orange and red, while the water glistens in shades of deep blue, and the wind manifests as wisps of silvery air, each element swirling and colliding in a breathtaking struggle, yearning for unity against the odds.
Yuki steadied himself, his muscles taut as he adopted a precise throwing stance.
He raised his arm, the spear held aloft, every fiber of his being focused on the monsters lurking ahead.
With a single, powerful throw, Yuki unleashed the spear, and in an instant, it soared through the air.
The fierce energy emanating from it engulfed the entire length of the 100-meter hallway, and in a brilliant flash, the multitude of monsters vanished, consumed by the power of the three-elemental spear.
