Chapter 18 - Enlightenment, Peak Realm Mastery!

At the same time, Ming Feng didn't tell Shi Jing to find him directly and used Ming Muwan as the in between.

This is clearly a deliberate act.

He has some hope that frequent interaction between the two would push them closer.

This inturn tightened the relationship between the Ming family and Shi Jing.

After Ming Feng department, Chen Lian was left with Shi Jing.

With his current state, he was a little embarrassed to face this young man.

"Thank you, young friend, for accepting my offer." He said, then waved his hand toward his waist.

There was a small leather pouch.

The pouch twitched slightly before producing a green-looking pill.

Chen Lian immediately gulped down the pill. Quickly, the paleness on his face receded as the color returns.

"I still have some business to attend to in Cangwu city, I will come to pick you up tomorrow. I'm sure you have your own matter to attend to," He explained with his eyes close.

The pride and arrogant as an outer Elder of the Sword Cloud Manor from before vanished after facing Ming Feng.

"This junior will be relying on you in the future, Elder Chen." Shi Jing respectfully bow.

Seeing this attitude, Chen Lian was inwardly elated. The injuries from before didn't pain as much when he thought about the merit he will obtain.

"The injuries I took was worth it! Just by recruiting Zhao Gongzu, I already obtained a lot of merits, not to mention this junior!"

"With this, I can obtain a pill to increase my chance of breaking through the wandering sea realm."

Chen Lian stepped out the door and flew off toward the distant.

Seeing that he was by himself, Shi Jing exhaled a deep breath of relief.

"These old monster, a single move from them and I would probably die! Especially senior Ming Feng… Fortunately, I am on friendly term with him."

Even with his mental fortitude, Shi Jing back was dripping with cold sweat.

During their interaction, he was balancing on top of a thin rope, and below is an abyss.

Any wrong move would have offended either party, sending him down a cliff. Perhaps he would have had to regress.

At this moment, Shi Jing move his eyes toward the white slip on the table.

"The gains this time is too enormous! I managed to obtain the chance to view the content of this heaven-grade sword art as well as the opportunity to see it being display personally."

"Not to mention, gaining the support of an Elder before entering the Sword Cloud Manor."

He murmured under his breath, and as he said this, the anticipation in his heart continue to rise.

Shi Jing picked up the slip and stirred his inner qi.

Ming Feng gave him this slip, obviously, someone with Shi Jing cultivation must be able to inspect it one way or another.

Otherwise, wouldn't it just be a useless slip to him?

The thought behind his reasoning is simple.

Outwardly, Shi Jing displayed Peak-Body Tempering cultivation.

This is due to the effect of the Ghostly Concealment art.

With this, he was confident that his spiritual essence is completely concealed, even from someone like Ming Feng, a dao seed realm expert.

Thus, he guessed that the key must likely be his inner qi.

Immediately, the content from the jade slip surged into his mind, affirming his guess.

Shi Jing didn't have time to process this before being stormed with a torrent of knowledge, his eyes emitting golden hue.

A brief moment passed.

The golden light from his eyes continue to shine briefly before dimming.

A voice whispered in the back of his mind, it was like his consciousness being pierced by a sharp object.

"A single drop conceal a sword, ten drop to form sword intent, a hundred drop contain the sword heart, and a thousand drop to form the sword spirit!"

"One sword spirit form an autumn stroke. When the One Autumn Stroke appear, even heaven is shrouded!"

"T-This… sword art is marvelous! It is definitely not an ordinary heaven-grade art..."

After receiving the knowledge from the slip, Shi Jing let out a cold breath.

His admiration for the creator of this sword art grew greatly.

He thought that he had grasped the movement and intent of the sword art when reaching major mastery. This made him proud.

Only to realized that was just scraping the surface.

If his sword movement were to one day encapsulate these two sentence, he couldn't imagined what effect it would have!

Just by gleaming at the knowledge within his mind, he had an innate sensation that was difficult to describe.

"Given another day, I can probably comprehend this sword art to the next level of mastery!"

Shi Jing quell the rushing adrenaline in his heart as he gripped his chest tight, then calm his mind as he sat on the edge of the porch.

He spent the night contemplating this two sentence, attempting to capture the meaning and infused it within his sword stroke.

The night passes quietly.

When the sun rises from the east, Shi Jing eyes opened. His gaze lingers on the plant and grass, pausing at the orchid tree.

In Cangwu city, autumn still linger in the air. Dense cloud blocked the sky, followed by howling thunder and pouring rain.

When the storm finally settle down, the earth is left with dew droplets. He watches as the final drop land on a petal of orchid.

Its movement reflected deeply in his golden pupil.

For a brief moment, a second became an eternity.

All the color in the world fade and the only movement reflected in his eyes is the droplet.

In its simple movement was a soft and delicate force that is imperceptible subtle.

Seeing this, Shi Jing mind was struck by lightning.

"I see… I understand it now!"

A sound of notification accompanied his words, affirming his understanding.
