It has been already a few hours since Shizu entered the Forest and she was now already quite deep inside the Forest.
She has encountered quite a few Monsters trying to escape the Forest in a hurried pace and they seemed to be ignoring her too so she didn't fight them.
She has been following the way the Monsters ran away from for a while now but she still hasn't found the source of their weird attitude.
'Just what are they running away from.. I still can't sense any Apex Monster around the area."
It in all of actuality this whole situation confuses her, after all something like this is new to her, most of the time she did missions similarly to this in the past, she would have already sensed the Apex Monster from miles away, after all she was quite perceptive with the scent or the sounds of Monsters, and their magicules leaks out and that makes it much more easier to sense them even if they did try to hide it especially the ones of Apex Monsters.
Finding nothing herself with nothing to do but walk, her thoughts wandered to the kids at the Academy. 'I wonder if the kids are already causing mischief to their caretaker while I'm not there..?' She smiled inside her mask while walking.
The children somewhat reminded her of herself back in the day, that is why it didn't take long for them to be able to enter inside her heart and soon enough became people precious to her.
She smiled in serenity remembering her time with them but quickly shook her head after all she was in a mission and being distracted could spell her doom.
She held the hilt of her sword readily and entered even deeper inside the forest.
After a few more minutes she saw a bright open in the forest.
That was when she sensed a subtle but very strong aura of magicules coming from that bright open area.
She readied herself and her weapon as she climbed up a tree and started traveling through trees to the open area as discretely as possible.
But when she reached it, she saw something she wasn't expecting at all.
'That's a...'

Inside a room in an inn at the town, a dark black messy haired boy laid rest.
He looks seemingly young, and from what anyone could see, he looked like a normal 14 years old boy with a charming face.
And besides him was Shizu who was busy writing a letter at a study desk with her mask still cascading on her face.
Suddenly the boy stirred which alerted Shizu and turned her attention to the boy curiously but warily as well.
What did you expect? She would greet a stranger with a bright smile with a gaze that screams full of trust? That would be stupid, for all she knows, he might just be a demon or a mabeast in disguise, after all she found him so deep inside the forest where the most danger is present.
Another fact was that it seemed like he was the reason for the weird attitude of the Monsters in the forest after she investigated a little... That's why she couldn't trust him just yet.
The boy's eyes stirred open showcasing a pair of beautiful purplish pupils.
The boy slowly sat down and looked around the room trying to get some sense of where he currently was before his eyes caught the figure besides him.
"...?" He tilted his head curiously.
Shizu initiated the conversation after looking at the boy for a few moments. "How are you feeling? Does anything hurt?"
The boy looked at his body and hands for a moment before shooking his head in affirmation.
Shizu smiled beneath her mask, "That's good." She paused. "I'm sorry for springing this up on you all of a sudden when you've just awakened but can you tell me your name?"
The boy looked confused, "...Name?"
'...Does he not remember?' Shizu thought to herself.
"It's what you identify yourself as, its also what other people will use to call for you." She then introduced herself. "Just like how my name is Shizue Izawa."
"Shizue Izawa..." The boy repeated looking at the masked Woman. "...Beautiful name."
Shizu smiled gratefully, "Thank you." She then asked "Do you perhaps do not remember your name?"
The boy held his head down and tried to remember his name but couldn't. "No... Can't remember."
Shizu nodded and thought to herself whether this boy was really amnesiac, "How about anything about yourself in general? Can you remember anything at all?"
But all she got was another shook from his head which made her let out a slightly dismayed sigh.
It didn't seem like the boy was acting so she trusted his words and actions a little but she still needed to observe him for a bit more to know if he is a dangerous and evil individual.
She now pondered to herself about the possibilities if he wasn't acting after all and if the boy was left by someone so deep in the forest while wiping out his memories along the way, but why would they do that? Is what she thought to herself.
Or maybe he was an otherworlder where the transportation process had a huge blunder and his memories got wiped out as a result.
Shizu didn't consider the thought of possibility of him being a summoned one after all the summoner would definitely not throw away their summoned no matter how incompetent they were, after all, summoning someone from another world costs a lot of time and resources and the person infront of her seems to already have matured and isn't living within borrowed time. If he was a failed summoned one, then he will probably be used elsewhere not thrown away here, besides, how can they throw him out when it seems like he has a very dense and strong magicules that managed to somehow scare off all the Monsters in the forest?
Besides, she didn't sense any binding magic in him that refutes her thought otherwise.
Knowing that she hasn't gotten any information about him or the reason as for why he had a dense amount of magicules that is strong enough to make the Monsters flee the forest, she let out another disappointed sigh.
The boy seemingly sensing her disappointed sigh he asked. "...Angry?"
Shizu shook her head in denial. "No, not at all, I was just hoping that you knew something about yourself." She explained in a slightly disappointed voice. "Putting that aside for now, what do you want me to call you?"
The boy was left to think to himself again and before a few moments he looked at Shizu. "...Don't know... Name me."
Shizu's eyes widened a little beneath her mask after all she was all of a sudden was bestowed upon an important task.
"N-Name you? That's a very huge responsibility, I don't think I should be the one to do that." She kept her stance on the matter.
The boy shook his head a little in refutation. "...Trust You. Thought of what names I could call myself... All the names thought of was 'Johnny' 'Benny' and 'Jugumogumogumo' and I feel like that would be bad names..."
Shizu let out a flabbergasted subtle chuckle at his horrible naming sense especially the last one.
She still shook her head, "Still... I can't just name you just like that..." She then had an idea, "How about we compromise and I just give you a temporary name until you can remember your own name?"
The boy thought to himself before he nodded in acceptance.
Shizu then hummed to herself thinking of what was a fitting name to the boy infront of him.
'Hmm... Now that I think about it he has a pretty charming little purple pupils and his facial structure is also not that bad...'
She hummed to herself again before a fitting name then popped into her mind as her eyes lit up beneath the mask.
"How about Lucien?" She proposed a gentle smile on her face not that the boy could see it.
The boy repeated in a mutter, "Lucien..."
Shizu nodded, "I've heard somewhere that Lucien means light and looking at your bright purple pupils, it somewhat reminded me of it, do you like it?" She in a slightly nerved tone asked.
The repeated the name in his mind before the boy nodded in acceptance to his newfound identity as Lucien.
"Mhm... Thank you."
"You're welcome." Shizu showed a warm happy smile and then paused as she thought of something. "Do you... Wanna come with me? After all, leaving you all alone when you can't remember things would spell trouble, and I just can't leave someone like that alone.."
Besides, she wanted to observe and investigate this boy and deem to herself if he was a threat or not.
A pause and Lucien tilted his head a little before nodding in agreement. "...Okay, thank you."
Lucien showed a subtle smile and he felt trustful and comfortable with the kind Woman infront of him.
