Jimmy rushed to his room, moving with such urgency that even Luna couldn't keep up with his sudden shift in energy. She stared at him in confusion, her fins shimmering slightly from the residual electric charge still dancing on her skin.
Without saying a word, Jimmy slipped through the door, closed it behind him, and immediately grabbed his mobile device. He logged into the Rock and Roll Auction House portal, fingers moving with practiced speed. His heart was pounding—not from fear, but from anticipation and urgency. He scrolled through the listings and saw what he was looking for: a seat in the upcoming auction.
"Lower-tier seat – 1000 TCoins."
Without hesitation, he selected it.
A confirmation buzzed almost instantly: Seat reserved. Thank you for your purchase.
Jimmy let out a slow breath, his chest still tight with the thought:
"I hope this isn't a waste… I hope she shows up…"
He looked at Luna, who was hovering nearby, her head tilted in concern. He gave her a gentle pat, then pulled out his device again.
Jimmy had no clear plan to earn more TCoins—his funds were dwindling fast. So, he made another decision. He opened the Whispers App, the largest social media platform for Whisp tamers and enthusiasts. He created an account for the first time.
Username: SilentBond_Jim
He posted a few pictures—some candid ones of Luna splashing in the training fountain, others showing her performing clone splits. A few group shots from his previous matches, even one awkward but cute picture of him asleep with Luna curled up beside him.
Then he began posting questions.
"What's the best way to earn TCoins quickly without a team?"
"Any known locations where high-tier Whisps appear?"
"Is it possible to evolve without evolution stones?"
Some answers were helpful. Others were sarcastic or just plain wrong. But one particular answer caught his attention:
"If you're talking luck-based earning—go to Klicken City. They've got public lottery machines, and sometimes people win a year's allowance in one go. If luck's on your side, you might walk away rich."
Jimmy's eyes widened.
"Klicken City… I already went there once. Why didn't I check for this?" he cursed silently to himself.
Then made a mental note: "I'll go there again. Tomorrow."
Thankfully, there were no scheduled classes.
"Rest day. Review the match trial."
That's what the teacher had said during the last announcement. Jimmy understood what he meant: reflect, regroup, plan ahead.
Still full of restless energy, Jimmy turned to his newest training idea. He reached for the voltage ammeter he'd created, the one he had used into his room last time. He reconnected the setup carefully—this time with less power than the original, reckless attempt.
Luna joined in, excited to recharge. The soft hum of current filled the room as she began absorbing the energy. Her water-electric body sparkled faintly, a blend of bubbles and static flickering around her. Jimmy monitored the volt meter carefully—he could tell that the outside current level was lower than usual, low voltage is happening.
After about an hour and a half, Jimmy's ears caught a distant sound, as he silently came out.
Footsteps. Heavy ones. From the first floor.
Security.
His instincts kicked in.
Without wasting a second, he signalled Luna to stop. He yanked the cables loose and carefully packed everything back into its case. He moved quickly but with the precision of someone who had practiced the escape routine already. Everything was stored and hidden just as the sound reached the top of the stairs.
Jimmy flicked off the lights and casually opened a book. By the time the hallway guard passed by his room, nothing looked out of place.
Once the sound faded, Jimmy let out a long breath and slumped back onto his bed.

"Let's try energy conversion. Electric to Hydro."
Luna floated to the pad and gently landed on it, her body twitching faintly from the leftover electric charge. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing.
She began the process—her horns sparked faintly as blue water particles formed on one side and faint yellow electric currents flickered on the other. But within seconds, the loop collapsed. The elements broke apart violently and faded like dust.
First attempt—failed.
Jimmy didn't react. He simply waited.
Luna gritted her fangs and tried again. She breathed slower, concentrated harder. The energy responded but… it was unbalanced again. Sparks flew, water splashed—failure.
Second attempt—failed.
She tried again.
And again.
And again.
The third attempt left a singe mark on the pad. The fifth made her fall back and rub her aching head. The seventh made her frustrated, tail slapping the ground. She looked at Jimmy with a defeated expression, her body starting to feel drained.
Jimmy didn't scold her. He simply gave a soft smile, reached out, and placed a hand over her chest.
"You can do this, Luna. Just trust your rhythm."
That encouragement, silent and full of warmth, reignited her determination.
She tried again.
And again.
Tenth attempt.
This time—something changed.
Her horns began to glow—more evenly this time. On the left side, a spiraling stream of shimmering water formed like a ribbon from her horn. On the right, a golden arc of electricity crackled like a whip, dancing and twisting in sync with the water stream.
Suddenly, between the two—a loop formed. A perfect ring of intertwined elements. Water circled in one direction, electricity in the other. Neither one dominating. They flowed in eternal motion—an infinite cycle.
The symbol of balance.
The mark of a breakthrough.
Jimmy's eyes lit up, awe spreading across his face. His mouth opened just a little in amazement. Then, a wide, genuine smile formed as he stood up.
"Very good… Very good, Luna!" he cheered with a proud voice, louder than usual.
Luna's eyes lit up with glee. She dismissed the loop quickly, her horns dimming down, and without a second thought, she launched herself at Jimmy—landing straight into his arms.
They spun together in the centre of the room—Luna laughing in high-pitched whistles, Jimmy chuckling softly, holding her like a glowing bundle of energy and joy.
There were no words needed after that.
They danced like children, like partners, like soul-bonded beings who had just crossed another invisible bridge in their journey.
