"Come on now, Mistane. It won't hurt." They all circled her as if cornering her so she doesn't run away. Mistane, on the other hand, does not understand what they mean until they've already poured a few drops off medicine on her wound.
"Well, that's unexpected." Ray was surprised that all those effort was for nothing. She did not put up a fight or run away when they were about to put the medicine. In the end they all came to a conclusion that she's strong and brave to accept it without fussing about it.
Contrary to their thoughts, Mistane on the other hand felt betrayed. "What are they doing? It's so cramped in here. Is that water? Do i just need to wash the cut to disinfect it? Hmmm. What are they being complacent abou— AAAAHHH! It hurts, but they're happy, but it hurts. It STINGS! What kind of water or medicine or whatever is that?"
She did not dare show how painful it feels for she fears the smile in their faces would disappear.
"Hm? What's tha—" Ray felt like he touched a cold water and looked at the person next to him. He saw Shine sweating cold. "How are you feeling? You looked pale." He commented.
"I'm fine. I've just been feeling under the weather recently." Shine could not determine what causes her stomach to hurt the way it does at this very moment. In fact she is confused wether it was her stomach that was hurting or it was something else.
Whether she was trying to lie or just sugar coat her condition right now, Ray, as someone who's life was always about being sick noticed that she can't even stand properly.
"Bloob, bloob." Lara kept pointing behind Shine. "What is it, Lara?" Xandra, who was being tugged by her looked at what she was pointing at. She almost lost it became of what she saw. "YOU'RE BLEEDING!" She shouted at Shine while pointing at her butt.
"What?" Shine exclaimed. "Big sis... Big sis Larice!" She shouted. She felt helpless after she realized that almost half of them that was there are boys and she's the oldest among them. She couldn't help but think of her eldest sister as the last resort.
"If it wasn't because of what I'm feeling today, i might have thought that I've just got my first period—" She said as she tries to calm everyone down including herself.
"We should call for the PHYSICIAN!" Rye felt scared after seeing her back. "Shut up! Okay? Everything is gonna be just fine." Shine shouted at Rye, she seems more calmer now that Xandra had gone down to get Laurice. "Now, where were we? Oh right." *Sigh* "If it's my period I'm prepared for it, but my pain is saying otherwise."
Ray felt panicked inside him but he could say it out loud for fear off making the situation worse and turning it into a bigger problem for his twin sister.
Rye is even more worried for his big sister. "Did he do this? Did he hurt her? I won't forgive him... No, i won't be able to forgive myself for running away." Tears almost fall from his eyes. "Since when? When did this happen?" With trembling voice, he carefully asked.
Rye felt guilty knowing how much his big sister, Shine, cared for him. He felt powerless to help her when she needed it the most. Shine would always picked up on little signs and every little detail about him, yet he didn't even notice that se wasn't feeling well at all.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's alright, I'm fine. Nothing bad happened. I was simply feeling unwell and I've been trying to dismiss it this whole time." Shine wasn't sure if she found the right words to assure Rye that she's alright.
"Everything will be fine, big sister Laurice can solve whatever it is." Ray tried to help calm him down as well.
"She's here! Big lady is here!" Xandra shouted, informing everyone about Laurice arrival. Larcy and Mistane on the other hand, have been trying to distract Lara from seeing too much blood.
Laurice checked up on her and decided to take Shine alone with her into another room.
After sometime, They finally head out with Shine being in a new set of clothes. "So?" Rye asked. "So?" Laurice also replied. She realy doesn't wanna talked about it since they were also boys. "So, how is she?" Rye said with too much worried in his voice.
Shine couldn't take it anymore and just said the truth. "I got my first period." Rye was dumbfounded. "What? But you said—"
"What exactly did you do, for your body to hurt like that? Did you—. Oh wait, we eat cold snacks for dessert. I'm sorry." Laurice was hit with her realization. "So it was your fault!" Shine angrily accused Laurice. "What? I didn't know you were—"
"Yeah, but you were about to put the blame on me. Me who also did not know this would happen!"
