Chapter 23 - 24

As we returned to our rooms, Lexie flopped onto her bed with a tired sigh. It was obvious that the race had worn her out. Despite her stretches at the start, her legs were left sore.

"That was a fun race, and all, but I'm exhausted." She rolled onto her back. "I don't think I've ever worked that hard before. Even the big championship battle I was in, didn't need that much from me." Likely referring to Gloria's battle against Leon, in their world. As I've mentioned before, it might be related to my Pokemon Sword save file, which means that Gloria's team was kinda excessive.

"Even I'm a little tired, and I didn't really have to do anything. I'm sorry if I weighed you down any." Melanie said, as she also sat down.

"Nah, it's totally fine. Wouldn't have been able to run if you didn't join in. Still, you're much lighter than the weights we wear, anyway." Lexie slowly sat up. "So, about that massage."

"Yeah, I know. Go ahead and get comfortable." I went to get the oil that I usually use, before returning. Lexie had rolled over again. "If you've got anywhere you're not comfortable with, cover up with a blanket, so I'll know." I said.

"So long as you stay away from around my tail, and on the outside of my legs, you're fine." Lexie said.

"Fair enough." I got onto the bed, before putting some of the oil onto my right hand, then I started to rub them together. "This might feel slightly unpleasant, I dunno, since you're a Fire Type. So you can let me know if you have any problem with it." I put my hands on her shoulders and started to work.

Lexie let out a quiet purr in response, and began to relax. I heard Melanie get up, and she moved over to sit down with us, making sure that we still had plenty of room.

"Feels nice, doesn't it?" She asked.

"Oh yeah…" Lexie purred, "I don't remember there being anything like this, back home."

"I wouldn't be surprised if there was, especially for increasing Friendship. Although, I'm quite sure your trainer won't be the one giving them out." Melanie said. "By the way, Zee, you owe me another one, sometime. With a happy ending."

"Sure thing. Want a full body with it?" I asked.

"Might as well. Even if you don't do a full body, I'll still enjoy it." Melanie said.

"What's a…happy ending? As far as a massage goes." I was going to say something, but it seems Melanie was quicker.

"It's at the end of a massage, and it involves se--"

"Nevermind. Forget I asked." Lexie interrupted what Melanie was going to say, and her cheeks reddened slightly.

"You shouldn't let yourself get flustered so easily, over talking about--"

"How can I not? Every mention of it makes me think back to that one morning." Lexie said. Melanie giggled in response.

"Well, now you know to knock first." She said.

"Oh sure, and you'll know to make sure the door's locked. You're lucky it was me, and not one of the staff members."  Lexie said.

"Yeah, you're right." Melanie said. A distant rumble met our ears. "Hm, sounds like we're going to have to wait a little longer." That was directed at me.

"Sounds like it, yeah. Ya know, I gotta wonder…about…that night. What did you have to do to cover it up? Sorry if that's something painful to talk about." I said.

"No, it's…not as hard as it was before. Bringing that news to the Police helped. Still, I made it seem that…it was a fall that killed him, as there was a canyon nearby. I really hated to have to do that, but, it would help go along with making it seem that he went missing and was found." Melanie explained. That's understandable, as some of the other plans would be pretty heavily questioned. Not to mention that Psychic Types could probably do lie detector stuff, anyway.

Also, this brings up something. We're going to be encountering another missing kid in the near future. Here's hoping that there wasn't any confusion about the cases. Since, based on what I remember…they had the same first name. Fortunately though, they wouldn't be the same age, considering the fact that Melanie had feelings for her previous trainer.

And if I'm remembering correctly, the one we're going to encounter, lives with a bunch of Kangaskhan. Could be somewhat interesting, but at least it means he's doing OK. Especially if they're taking care of him, as well. The fact I can understand what they're saying, definitely helps.

The sound of thunder met our ears once again, and then we began to hear the sound of rain.

"I didn't think it was going to get here that quickly." Melanie said.

"It's definitely not as strong as the one from a few nights ago." I said. "The thunder isn't being heard all that often, as an example. This is likely just a rainstorm, so it's nothing to worry about. Great to fall asleep to, I'll say that much." I can't imagine that it's all that great for Solais, either. Even if she did face a nightmare related to a bad storm, that fear will still be there. Given what she's capable of sensing, I wouldn't be surprised.

Speaking of which, a soft scratch was heard, on the door connecting our rooms. Melanie got up to open it.

"Sorry Lexie, gotta cut this short." I stopped her massage early, and got off of her back so she could get up and stretch.

"It's fine, I feel better already. Legs are still a little sore, but it'll pass by morning." Lexie said. Here's hoping, because we're going to be traveling again tomorrow. Although, I'm sure walking isn't going to be as hard as what was basically running a marathon.

Melanie shut the door after Solais came through. She hopped up onto the bed and laid down, before laying her head in my lap. I started to rub her back.

"Hey girl. Did the storm wake you up?" I asked.

"Mmm…yeah, it did. I guess even with Darkrai's…nightmare thing, I'm still…not over it." Solais said.

"I can understand. I used to be afraid of the dark, in my first life anyways. Took me several years to get over it." I said. Which was certainly true, though, having lights that turn off on their own after a while, definitely helped. Plasma candles, specifically.

"I hope that mine doesn't take as long to deal with." Solais mumbled.

"Just focus on the sound of rain, and don't worry about the thunder." I said. I blinked as the room's lights turned off. Then Melanie quietly pulled the curtains open. A flash from some cloud-to-cloud lightning, lit up the room in pale light. The rumble of thunder followed soon after.

"This is just a rainstorm, it's nothing compared to…you get the idea." I said quietly.

"Yeah, I know. Still…I can't help worrying, because it could always-"

"Get stronger, yeah." I find myself wondering if we'll see an electrical storm, at some point. Heavy rain, lots of lightning, but not severe enough for hail, or a tornado. The more I think about it, the more I wonder if that storm wasn't just a rare occurrence. Considering the fact that there are Pokemon moves and abilities that do change the weather.

But I've never heard of one that can whip up a super-cell like that was. I know for a fact that the Delta Stream has very strong wind, but there's only one case where that can even appear. And I highly doubt Rayquaza would have any reason to do such a thing. He's more likely to clear the weather than he is to cause something so destructive. Of course, that's just a guess.

As far as heavy rain goes, the heaviest I know of is from Primordial Sea, Primal Kyogre's ability. But Kyogre and Groudon should still be in hibernation, if I'm not mistaken. If it really was Kyogre, then one, why is Kyogre near Kanto? And two, why hadn't Rayquaza done anything before the storm could hit a city?

Something's off about that whole thing, and I don't know what. Course, the System's not saying anything. And that mega update didn't change anything with the weather, either. Probably best to not worry so much about it.

"I'm going to stay in here tonight, if that's OK." Solais said. "I don't think I'll be comfortable in the other room."

"That's OK." I told her. "You don't mind, do you Lexie?"

"There's enough space anyways. If she needs to stay in the same room, it's totally fine." Lexie said.

"That makes me wonder though. Since there's definitely going to be more than six on the team, what do we even do with the extras? Just…get more rooms?" Melanie asked.

"No, I don't think the centers would let us do that. Might have to think of something else." I said.

"What even happens if you catch more than six?" Solais asked.

"You probably get sent to the storage system, if the trainer already has a full team." Lexie said. "I've experienced it. It's, uh…not entirely unpleasant. But I can't speak for Kanto, as I'm sure it's very different from the PC boxes." Lexie said.

"It is. At least, in this world anyway. Well, for us, since anyone past our sixth member should automatically be sent to Oak's lab." Which is going to cause some…interesting things. Especially since, if the banned episode stuff does happen, and it seems like it has, so far. Ash is going to be sending, I think…about thirty Taurous, to the lab at one time.

Well, that's what happens normally. Since I'll be there, things are bound to end differently. Mainly since the guy that pulls a gun, can be disarmed before he can really threaten anyone.

"Alright ladies, let's get some rest. We've got traveling to do tomorrow, and a lot of it. We might be camping a few nights, going forward." Possibly, all depends on if we get lucky with the speed travel or not.

I got into bed and as I started to lay down, Solais hopped up at the end, and slowly made her way up to lay down next to me, placing a paw, and her head, on my chest.

"Sorry to steal him from you like that. I just feel like I'd be more comfortable here." She said.

"Oh, no, it's fine. I've got plenty of chances in the future, anyway." Melanie said. "Zee, you should probably start thinking about how you're going to handle all of us at once." She's right, though I think I might have an idea.

"I've got something in mind, but the questions are; one, can I even get my hands on it? And, two, how is it going to work with the way the System is set up?" I'm not actually sure if I even can acquire what I've got in mind. But, if I can, then that makes things much easier.

"Oh, really? What would that be?" Lexie asked.

"Shadow Clones."

"Wait, shadow clones? But, wouldn't shadow imply--" Melanie was interrupted.

"Not that kind of shadow, honey. If I can actually get my hands on it, and the System is updated to make it work, our schedule for who I stay with will get…much easier. What it does is create fully physical copies of me. They've got everything I do, except The Gamer powers, I'm pretty sure. Won't know for sure, unless I get them." I said. "Plus, anything they experience, gets transferred back to me, in the form of memories, when they dispel."

"So they're good for scouting then. That sounds…really helpful." Lexie said.

"Oh, it certainly will be. Especially in cases where it's too dangerous to have Pidgeotto fly up and look around. Course, they have more uses than just that. Multitasking included."

"You've gotta get people's reactions to the first time you use it. Like the weights with the race earlier." Melanie's voice got quiet. "It seems that Solais has nodded off."

"Looks like it. Think we should do the same. G'night ladies." It wasn't long before I dozed off to the sound of rainfall.

[Break]

I was awakened by a sharp pain on my chest. I hissed, and sat up quickly. This startled Solais, who already seemed to be awake. It looks like she woke up right when I did.

I felt something warm on my chest, warm and wet. Quickly realizing that A- Solais had a nightmare of some sort, and B- I'm currently bleeding because of a bad scratch.

She looked like she was going to say something, but I quickly covered her muzzle.

"Shh…don't freak out." I said quietly, while covering my wound with my right arm. "We don't need to cause a panic."

"But…but you're…"

"I'll take care of it. Come on." I got up, not quick enough to cause a head rush, but still pretty quickly. I grabbed my medical kit and hurried into the bathroom, flicking the light on. There were three large slash marks down the left side of my chest. Deep enough to bleed, but not enough to be serious. They weren't big enough to need stitching, either.

As I started to prepare to clean them, Solais let out a gasp when she saw the damage.

"Zeryph…I--"

"Enough. I know it was an accident." From her wince, that must've sounded harsher than I intended. "Let me deal with this first." It had taken a little bit off my HP, from what I saw, though it's a small enough number to not worry.

I growled quietly when the cuts began to burn, as I cleaned them. I could cauterize, sure, but that smell would definitely wake some people up. And that's the last thing we want.

"Why aren't you…using healing magic on it?" Solais asked a good question, but there's a reason.

"The same reason I didn't use it for Kaorah's bite. Don't worry, it's not the first time I've been scratched by mistake." Which is part of the reason I didn't freak out. With as long as I've had Kaorah, there were definitely some cases of accidental injury in the past.

I finished cleaning the scratches, and then bandaged them, before pulling a clean shirt on, at least for now. I just hope I didn't get any blood on the sheets or the carpet. That one would be hard to explain. Ya know, same can be said for when Kaorah bit me.

Next on the list was to open a portal, quietly, before cutting the light off. Soon as the portal opened, Solais went through. I followed behind shortly after, and closed it. The room on the other side was a small park, of sorts, underneath a skylight, with the only sound being the quiet noise of rainfall on the glass.

The next spell to leave my hand was Anthrofy, and I found myself in a tight hug. One which I returned with a single arm. Although she isn't crying, I can feel Solais shaking. She's definitely scared, and if she did indeed have a nightmare, then it's not a surprise. I can imagine after that one that Darkrai put her through, on top of that mess leading up to Fuchsia, hasn't been good for her.

[I sensed a portal. Is everything OK?] A voice echoed in my head. That was a surprise. I didn't know telepathy crossed the barrier, unless…

[Palkia?]

[The very same. I apologize if I'm interrupting everything. This isn't the normal time of day for your portals.] Palkia's right. I would be more surprised, if I didn't already know that he, and likely Giratina, could already do things like this.

[No, nothing serious anyway. Solais needed a more private setting.] She shifted in my arms, and smiled up at me. Seems her tears had finally subsided. [Bad dream, you see. Related to that whole mess leading up to Fuchsia.]

[I…see. Dialga should be getting into contact with you about that, in the near future.] Palkia's voice echoed. [According to him, none of the timelines had that storm happen. It was…out of place. Father wants us to investigate, and has Rayquaza on watch now.] Not a surprise, honestly. Especially since Rayquaza can stop another storm like that before it can even begin. [I shall be going, I'll leave you to tend to your Absol. Have a pleasant night.]

[And you, as well.] Palkia's presence faded away, and I regained my focus.

"You spaced out. Is everything OK?" Solais asked. I couldn't help a small chuckle at the irony of what she'd said…if you can even call that ironic.

"Palkia noticed the sudden portal." I answered.

"Huh, well, didn't they once try to pass through one? Him and Giratina, I mean."

"They did, the system patched it, but I believe it's been reverted so that they can, as they're not going to mess anything up."

"I see…" Solais shifted how she was positioned. "Hey…remember that day, on the St. Anne?" She suddenly asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, uh…I might not be in…in heat, but…I, um…I think I'm ready."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes…I want to. I feel like waiting any longer just…isn't going to go well, or…something." She said.

"Alright. But, understand that for the first time, you'll be in your other form. Same as the other girls." Better to take the natural form first, and then use magic later, after all.

"But, I want to…alright. Go ahead, I guess." I returned Solais to her normal self, and she stretched in order to adjust. "I'd much prefer my other form, but…if you think this is necessary, then--"

"This is better the first time around…because it's your natural form, just as how my body is what I am naturally." If I get to experience any of the Mystery Dungeon stuff in the future, I know for a fact whatever Pokemon I become, is going to be my other form. Provided that I don't learn it sooner, or get changed before then. We'll just have to wait and see.

"I understand, just…won't it be a little awkward?" Solais asked.

"No, not at all. You'd think the same would've been true for Kaorah, but it wasn't. And you've seen what I got out of that one." I had recently stopped covering it up as much. As it turns out, people seem much more likely to think it's a scar from a training accident. Some Pokemon recognize it for what it really is, but they never say anything. The few who have, like the Audino on the first night, either comment on it like he did, or just choose to not say anything.

"Yes, I…I guess I have. So uh…how are we going to do this?" Solais asked. "I'm not really…comfortable, with laying on my back, to be honest."

"We'll go with whatever feels the most natural. You don't even have to lay down." I said. I'd already shifted out of what I was wearing, and she had noticed, based on the blush she had gained. Seeing someone blush purple is…different, but it's just because her skin is blue. Hm, and I'd consider it an achievement if I ever got Kaorah to do that.

"So I can just…stand, I guess…right?"

"That's right. If you feel uncomfortable, or it hurts, tell me. We'll stop right away." I got behind her, on my knees, since I was tall enough that standing, myself, wouldn't really work. With her being just a little over half my height, especially.

I reached out to touch between her hind legs, causing her to gasp. Her blush returned, and she purred softly when I started to rub with my fingers. It didn't take long to arouse her, though I'm sure the fact she wants this, definitely helps.

I pulled my hand away and then lined myself up properly, gently prodding her entrance.

"Remember what I said, if it hurts, or you feel uncomfortable, tell me, and we'll stop." I said. "Are you ready?"

"Y-yes…I'm ready." Her confirmation was all I needed. I grabbed her hips and slowly started to push in. I saw her wince, briefly, but it's likely just part of it being her first time. Of course, she doesn't have something to break, in there, like a human would.

I stopped when I felt that I was in far enough, and when I saw her nod, I started moving. She felt different, compared to Kaorah and Melanie, but that's to be expected, different species and all, but the response was much the same.

If her moans are anything to go by, of course, and they are. They're not as quiet as Melanie's are, yet not as loud as Kaorah's, either. Somewhere right in between.

"Mmmm…" I sped up once I was sure she had adjusted. "I can see now…why they…alternate…" Solais managed to say. "I'm glad I decided…not to wait for longer. This feels…good…" I smiled, and kept going. Knowing for sure that she's enjoying it, means that there's no need to stop now. Not until we're done, of course.

Much as I'd like to embrace her from behind, her tail gets in the way. Unlike Kaorah's, it's like a blade, almost. I'd rather not risk hurting her, or myself for that matter, if it turns out to be sharp.

I began to increase the pace, gradually. Solais had re-positioned herself, lowering the front half of her body to the floor, with her front legs folded beneath her chest. I changed my hold on her, so that I could support her hind legs if they got tired.

"Is it…OK…if I…share…this…experience…with…the others?" Solais asked, between moans and short breaths.

"Kaorah and Melanie? Sure. You've all mated with me, so, there's nothing stopping you." I quietly answered. I started to put a bit of my STR stat into this. The blush that Solais had, grew deeper. She's enjoying this, for sure. Although I do wish I could've gotten her on her back, she did mention how that position made her uncomfortable.

Her breathing began to speed up, and her moans were getting louder. Not by much, but I could tell. I'm not sure if she'd heard the other two talking at any point, but I have. During our travels anyway. Melanie thinks the quiet growling sounds I make are cute, though they're more of a subconscious thing. If I realize I'm doing it, or someone tells me, normally I stop myself.

"Are you…purring? Or is…that…a growl?" Of course Solais would notice it, too. And of course, I only do it if I'm enjoying something, or…

"A growl…to be sure. If you talk with…Melanie and…Kaorah. You'll know why I do it." Of course, Mewtwo knows about the growl, as well, but for a very different reason to what my girls know it for.

It didn't take much longer before I started to feel my release approaching, and from the sound of it, Solais wasn't far off, either. She'd begun to shift, mostly from a slight twitch in her hind legs. I could feel it of course.

"Something's…happening…and I'm…not…sure what…" She mumbled.

"Just let it…happen. It's not a…bad thing." I increased our pace, just a little more. It wasn't long before I felt her clamp down. A scratching sound met my ears when her claws dug into the floor, ripping through the carpet and scraping the floor beneath. She moaned loudly as she reached her climax. I growled, as I came inside her, then I began to slow down until I finally stopped. The only sounds afterwards were from our breathing, and the quiet sound of rain outside.

Slowly, I pulled out, and Solais lowered herself to the floor. Out of breath, sure, but she was smiling.

"That was amazing…" She finally said, after taking a few minutes to breathe.

"Good. I'm glad you enjoyed it." I said. Solais slowly got up, and turned around. She reared up and put her front paws on my shoulders, and then softly nuzzled me, which was returned. I followed up by kissing the end of her snout, the same way I do with Kaorah.

"Love you, Solais." I said.

"Love you too." She smiled, and got down. "Take us back. We should probably clean up, and then get back to bed. I feel like I'll be able to sleep really well, now." I gathered up my clothes while she was speaking, and then opened our exit portal. As soon as we were out, I set my stuff aside. After we cleaned up, we went to lay down. She joined me immediately after I'd covered up, and snuggled up next to me.

I started to rub her back, and felt her purring as we fell asleep together, once more. Only this time, there wouldn't be a nightmare for Solais to wake up from.
