Monday morning.
Ren stepped into Class 2-B, trying to act normal. Totally chill. Nothing weird about having five beautiful girls low-key competing for his heart.
He nodded to himself.
Yup. I'll just stay neutral.
"Ren-kun," a voice called sweetly.
He froze.
Haruka Aizawa stood at the door with a cheerful smile—and a packed lunch.
"Wanna eat on the rooftop today?"
Before he could respond—
Yui stood up. "We… already made plans."
Then—
Emi: "He has student council duties."
Rika: "Actually, we're playing co-op at lunch."
Mei: "He promised to eat my special limited-edition panda bento!"
Ren's soul cracked.
"E-Everyone… chill—"
The Girls Argued. Ren Panicked.
Haruka folded her arms. "I waited years to tell him how I feel!"
Yui's voice was soft but firm. "I only need a few minutes with him… just to feel safe."
Rika: "I had dibs yesterday."
Emi: "As the class president, I propose a dating rotation system."
Mei: "I vote we all kiss him once to compare chemistry!"
Ren: "WHAT—NO—WAIT—"
After Lunch: Alone at Last?
Ren finally escaped to the school garden. He sat under a tree, clutching his lunch, emotionally exhausted.
Then—
Yui appeared again.
She knelt beside him, silent for a while.
"…I'm sorry. I didn't mean for things to get out of hand."
"It's not your fault," he replied. "Honestly, I don't even know how this happened."
Yui looked down. "But… did you enjoy yesterday?"
Ren hesitated—then smiled. "I did. It felt real. Peaceful."
Her eyes softened. "Then I'll wait. Even if I'm not the one you pick, I want you to know… you helped me heal."
She stood, brushing off her skirt.
"But if they're all going to fight for you…"
She leaned down, inches from his face.
"…I will too."
And just like that, she walked away—again.
Later That Evening…
Ren received a message on his phone.
📩 Haruka: "Tomorrow. My turn. No one's stealing it."
Another followed—
📩 Rika: "Prepare your thumbs. We're gaming."
Then—
📩 Emi: "Meeting you at 7:45 for morning duties."
And finally—
📩 Mei: "I'll be waiting at the gate. Hug attack loading…"
Ren collapsed face-first into his pillow.
"I didn't choose anyone… and somehow I made everyone mad."
