Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: Blood and Fire

Then Luna...

Darkness was descending over her eyes, but inside, it felt like an explosion was happening. She was losing blood, yet from that blood, an unknown fire was awakening.

She pushed her hand against Asher's chest.

A strange vibration spread — a crack between light and shadow.

Asher staggered back, disbelief in his eyes.

Gasping for breath, Luna spoke, her throat filled with blood and the fire of revenge:

"You thought I was just prey?

You were wrong, Asher… something inside me has changed."

Her eyes were no longer green — they carried the shadow of blood, the glow of rebellion.

Asher laughed, but that smile held caution.

"You've finally awakened."

Luna stepped forward, her body trembling but her eyes steady.

"You don't know me," she whispered.

"I didn't even know myself...

But now I know—

My blood will not just save me, it will start the war."

Thunder cracked outside, the window glass trembling.

And from within the shadows, a voice spoke—

"It's time."

---

Does Rein arrive?

Does Luna try to escape?

Or does the Shadow Battle begin between Asher and Luna?

I'm ready!

---

Amidst the thunderclap outside and the howl of the wet wind, suddenly—

The door burst open and a shadow entered the room.

At that moment, Asher's eyes trembled. He stepped back, as if the arrival was unexpected.

Luna was still trembling, her throat bloodied and her blurry eyes looking back.

Standing in the doorframe was Rein.

Raindrops glistened on his forehead, his eyes sharp as lightning.

In that moment, his gaze fell on Luna's bloodied throat and the burning eyes inside Asher's shadow.

In a second, Rein leapt forward. He shouted at Asher—

"Move away from her!"

Asher chuckled lightly, his voice cold and sarcastic,

"Your arrival… is a little late, Rein."

Rein didn't listen. He rushed to Luna's side.

And Luna—

In a mix of fear, pain, and relief, clung to him.

Trembling, she buried her face into Rein's chest, like a weary soul fleeing from the entire world.

"Rein…" her voice quivered, crying, suffocating,

"I thought... no one would come..."

Rein gently touched her hair with his hand.

"I told you, I would come. Even in all the shadows, I will find you. You are not alone, Luna."

Behind them, Asher's shadow slowly began to fade, his eyes holding a vague expression.

He whispered—

"Your fight is not over yet…"

And merged with the wind, as if he was never there.

---

Rein held Luna tightly. His chest still thumped rapidly, and his hand rested on her trembling shoulder to soothe her.

But then...

A strange sound.

Like waves of air emanated from Luna's body.

Rein froze. He looked at Luna and saw—

Her eyes... had turned green.

No, not just green. Like burning emeralds, shadows dancing within them.

Luna slowly raised her face. Her gaze had changed.

Rein was about to speak, but then—

The entire room filled with light.

Suddenly, wings blossomed from Luna's back — two huge, diamond-like dragon wings. But they were not frightening—they were regal, mysterious, and indescribably beautiful.

Her old blood-stained dress was gone. Instead, she wore a beautiful white-silver garment, as if woven from the body of an ancient queen.

Her hair... suddenly fell below her waist, shimmering like golden strands, waving in the air.

Rein stepped back in amazement. Only one word escaped his lips—

"Luna…?"

Luna spoke again—but her voice was no longer the same.

It was deep, resonant, as if two voices spoke in unison.

"I have awakened. I am no longer just human."

Lines of light shot forth from her hands.

"Asher knew… but now you see, Rein.

I am the heir of the blood, whose name no one dares to claim."

Rein froze.

His eyes showed surprise. Love? Fear? Perhaps both.

And Luna?

She slowly stood up, stretching her wings as if ready to touch the sky.

This battle was no longer just for survival... it was to prove her very existence.

---

Rein is caught between fear and awe—will he love Luna as before?

Luna struggles to control her transformation power—the room shakes.

Asher returns again, but this time not to stop her, rather for love or to test her.

Or perhaps another entity inside Luna starts speaking—"Who are you really?"

---

Rein stood motionless. He couldn't recognize the woman before him—her hair waving in the breeze, wings shimmering in the sunlight.

And in Luna's eyes, there was a void—and behind it, another memory floated.

Suddenly the lights stopped. Rein was about to say something, but then—

Time stopped.

Luna closed her eyes. And then...

---

[FLASHBACK: About a thousand years ago]

The earth was soaked in blood.

The air smelled of burning fire.

In the distance stood a girl—wearing a tiara, clothed in silver moonlight.

"Princess Lunavia of the House of Arkenveil."

The ancient priest's voice echoed.

"Half-dragon, half-mortal. Guardian of the Forbidden Realm."

She was alone.

Beneath her wings lay her burned kingdom, her parents, and friends.

For the last time, she spread her wings and said—

"If I must sleep for a thousand years… let me rise again when the world is in danger."

---

[Present Time]

Luna opened her eyes.

Rein slowly said, "Lunavia…? That name is written in myths…"

Luna nodded, a sad smile on her lips.

"It wasn't a myth, Rein. It was my past."

"I was born of flame. Hidden in time.

Now I've awakened… and the war has begun again."

---

The sky rumbled with thunder, the wind restless.

But suddenly everything stopped.

Luna stood still. A green light began to glow around her—not ordinary light, but a kind of conscious energy.

From her eyes, a soft green aura emerged, slowly surrounding her entire body as it began to dance.

Though her feet touched the ground, it felt like she was floating.

A melody played in the air—unknown, ancient, yet deeply familiar to the heart.

She began to dance.

No, it wasn't a modern dance. It was the Dance of Memories.

When the soul of a princess regains itself, each of her movements opens a door deep into time.

The light split into three parts—

Around Rein, Asher, and Luna's bodies, images of the past began to float one by one.

---

[FLASHBACK 1: Asher]

A battlefield. A young soldier, eyes filled with blood and regret.

Before him stood Luna, the bloodied princess.

"Don't fall, Asher. You're not a weapon. You're a soul."

Asher stopped. He never knew his first life was bound to Luna's.

---

[FLASHBACK 2: Rein]

An ancient library, sunny noon.

A small boy buried his face in a book.

Next to him sat Luna, a royal flower crown on her head.

"One day you'll protect me, Rein. Not with a sword—but with love."

Rein had laughed then, unaware of how heavy the future would be.

---

[FLASHBACK 3: Luna]

Her mother said to her—

"You have the power to break time inside you.

But remember, if you lose the memories of those you love, everything is meaningless."

---

[Return to Present]

The light slowly faded.

Luna's dance ended, but a peaceful, enchanting wave spread all around.

Both Asher and Rein were stunned—their eyes filled with tears.

Asher whispered,

"I remember... you saved me once."

Rein stepped forward and said,

"And you loved me... before you even knew what love meant."

Luna smiled. Her eyes no longer held fear. Only truth.

"We three, three directions. But once, one story.

Now I will not lose."

---

Then Luna...

The green light in her eyes grew stronger.

In one breath, she unleashed all the power inside her.

A shimmering green aura blazed around her body, slowly extending and sparkling like dragon wings on both sides.

Her hair was long, shining like golden rays, dancing with the touch of the wind.

She began to dance—a strange dance that not only revealed her own memories but also opened windows into the lost pasts of Rein, Asher, and herself.

With the dance, images began to appear one by one—memories, war, love, betrayal.

In that moment, the hearts of the three beat as one—

A new journey to reclaim forgotten pasts had begun.
