Chapter 13 - In the New World

In a vast plain, somewhere a giant hole appeared.

Looking deep inside, one could see a handsome young man with white hair and wearing a pure white suit.

That person was none other than Ventair.

The violent explosion still echoed in the air, the debris of rocks and dust gradually settled, revealing a deep hole where Ventair had just collided.

He lay there, motionless for a moment, his body aching to every muscle, every cell. It felt like his entire body had just been smashed by a giant hammer, then torn apart by thousands of blades.

The intense pain spread throughout all his senses, making him dizzy.

He struggled to open his eyes. His eyelids were heavy, every movement was a torture.

The first sight that appeared before his eyes was a patch of the deep blue sky of the alien planet, dotted with gray streaks of dust that he had created.

He blinked a few times to adjust his vision, realizing that he was lying at the bottom of a deep pit, surrounded by broken rocks.

A small groan escaped from Ventair's throat as he tried to move. He felt an extreme fatigue, as if all his life energy had been drained.

From the moment he passed through the atmosphere at a terrifying speed, enduring the terrible friction and pressure, to the final impact, every moment was a test of survival.

Fortunately, he was not a normal person, so he would not die so easily.

He felt a dull pain everywhere, from head to toe, especially in his back and limbs.

His shield had been completely broken, and he could clearly feel the invisible bruises forming on his spirit body.

Looking down at himself, he saw that his original clothes were still intact as if nothing had happened.

'It really is a suit made from primordial energy.'

Ventair took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

He used all his strength, slowly pushing his hands down on the ground and forcing himself to sit up.

Every muscle in his body seemed to be contracting and protesting, but his will was stronger than any pain.

He was panting, sweat pouring down his forehead.

He sat up straight, his back against the wall of the pit, trying to regulate his breathing and regain his sense of his body.

In his spirit space, the Angels were seething with worry.

"Lord, are you okay??"

Seraphiel's voice rang out in his mind—clear, but trembling and filled with worry. She wanted to immediately appear to help, but still tried to restrain herself, obeying Ventair's command.

Abyzaria, although her face was still cold as usual, this time her voice could not hide the rare tension:

"Our defensive power... can only protect up to that limit, Heavenly Lord. If anything happens to you—"

She stopped mid-sentence, the words that had not yet been spoken weighed heavily on the hearts of each angel.

For the first time, Abyzaria felt helpless — something she had always despised.

Belloniel said bitterly: "Because we are not strong, you have to suffer like this, we are useless."

Ventair comforted:

"It's okay, you guys are doing too well, and now even I am very weak, let alone you guys are as strong as me."

Hearing this, the angels felt that their Heavenly Lord was gentle and kind, vowing in their hearts to try to be stronger.

Mechaniel, on the other hand, remained calm but his eyes were clearly analytical and worried:

"Angels," Mechaniel ordered in a steady voice, "let's start transmitting stable energy together to speed up his recovery."

At once, all four angels — Seraphiel, Abyzaria, Mechaniel, and Belloniel — simultaneously transmitted energy to him.

Ventair smiled slightly — a weak but genuine smile:

"Thank you, I'm just a little dizzy now."

A few minutes passed, and he felt the pain lessen considerably, and his strength gradually returned.

He had recovered a little, enough to act.

Ventair opened his eyes, stood up, and looked up at the edge of the pit, a not-so-small distance.

Ventair whispered and looked at the edge of the hole:

'Space Shift.'

An invisible energy surrounded him, and in a blink of an eye, his body faded, then immediately appeared on the edge of the hole, standing firmly on the flat ground.

Once out of the hole, Ventair took a deep breath, feeling the cool breeze brush past his face. He looked around.

Before his eyes was a vast plain, stretching to the horizon. The green grasslands stretched out, and colorful wildflowers competed to bloom, creating a vivid carpet.

The blades of grass swayed gently in the wind, creating undulating green waves. A few lone ancient trees stood tall in the middle of the field, their trunks huge, their branches and leaves luxuriant like giants guarding them.

In the distance, low, gently sloping hills rose and fell, creating a soft horizon. The sky was clear blue without a cloud, and the golden sunlight poured honey down to the world.

To his east, he could see a dense forest looming, dark and mysterious. The trees were so tall and dense that sunlight could hardly penetrate, creating a giant green wall, containing countless unknowns.

The chirping of birds echoed from deep within the forest, mixed with the chirping of insects, creating a symphony of nature.

The atmosphere of the forest was both majestic and wild, and contained hidden dangers.

Ventair was stunned by this magnificent and peaceful scene. He had never seen such a beautiful and pure scene. The overwhelming feeling was evident on his face. "It's amazing..." he whispered, his voice filled with amazement and admiration.

He took a deep breath, filling his chest with surprisingly fresh, cool air. It had no smell of dust, no smoke, no industrial pollution like the air on Earth that he used to breathe every day.

This feeling was truly a gift, a release from the suffocation of the past.

After looking for a while, Ventair's eyes became more focused.

He had set foot on a new planet. Now, it was time to plan what he would do next.

He began to plan in his mind.

"According to Mechaniel's analysis, this planet is inhabited, so there might be intelligent races, and this is the most ideal place to collect energy."

"Then the immediate goal is to collect the power of faith, also known as divine energy, to transform it into primordial energy. That is the only way for me to create more Angels and develop my own power."

Ventair looked into the spirit dimension and asked the Angels:

"You guys, how can we collect divine energy from this world? Is there a specific and effective way?"

Seraphiel, her eyes sparkling with joy, immediately appeared more clearly in Ventair's mind.

"My Lord," she said in a clear voice, a bright smile on her lips, "this is something special that only an Angel created by you can do."

She paused for a moment, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"Your divine energy is derived from your passion and intense love for us. You used that purity to create angels of light like gods."

When Seraphiel mentioned Ventair's love for angels, a happy light flashed in her eyes. She tilted her head slightly, the energy wings behind her back fluttering, creating tiny sparkles like fairy dust.

She seemed a little embarrassed, but her joy was more evident. She was happy, proud, and happy to know that her existence, and that of the other angels, was the result of pure love and passion from God.

"Therefore," she continued, her voice full of pride, "we – the Angels of Light – can absorb divine energy from sentient beings. More specifically, we can gather energy from their passion and love for something in life, whatever it may be: an art, a form of knowledge, a person, or even an ideal. The more pure the passion and love, the greater the energy gained."

After hearing Seraphiel's explanation, Ventair was immediately excited. His eyes lit up visibly.

"Really?!" he exclaimed, a bright smile on his lips.

"This is truly a wonderful way!

This way, we can quickly gather the necessary energy!"

This ability was not only effective, but also seemed "beneficial" than he had imagined, allowing him to avoid other dark paths.

However, another question suddenly flashed through Ventair's mind. "What about the others?" he asked, his gaze shifting to the area where Abyzaria, Mechaniel, and Belloniel were in the spirit realm.

"Do they have other ways of gathering energy?"

Abyzaria, her red and black eyes filled with authority, immediately took a step forward. "My lord," she replied.

"Fallen Angels like us are the opposite. We can gain energy by absorbing the despair and hatred of some sentient being. The deeper the despair and hatred, the more powerful the energy."

Ventair nodded, a smirk crossing his face. "That's true of a Fallen Angel," he thought, a flash of humor. He recognized the perfect balance in this system: light from love, darkness from hate. This created a perfect cycle of energy.

"But other angels don't, this ability is only available to light angels and dark angels."

Ventair felt it was a pity, but having two ways to collect energy like this was already too good.

Then, both Seraphiel and Abyzaria added, their voices blending together:

"The ability to collect energy in these two ways is only available to the Angels you created, Heavenly Lord. It is not available to other races in the universe."

Hearing this, Ventair was immediately delighted.

A sense of pride welled up in his heart. "Wonderful!" he said, his voice filled with excitement.

"This means that my Angels are unique, possessing special abilities that no other race can match!"

Having learned their own ways of gathering divine energy, Ventair looked up at the blue sky, his gaze distant and calculating.

He looked at the vast plains to the west, then glanced at the dense forest to the east.

He made his decision. "We will go west," he said, his voice firm.

"The plains have a higher chance of encountering sentient beings, perhaps even humans. In the jungle, we may only encounter wild animals."

However, another problem suddenly arose in Ventair's mind. "But how can I understand and communicate with their language? Do they speak Earth?" he wondered, a hint of concern evident on his face.

Seraphiel once again seemed to know Ventair's thoughts. She smiled softly, her voice sweet and reassuring. "That's not a problem, sir." She explained gently.

"You can transfer a small amount of divine energy into your ears and mouth. When you do that, the energy will automatically translate other languages into a language you can understand. As well as speak their language. And only beings with divine energy can use this method."

Hearing this, Ventair felt relieved. A big problem had been solved so simply. He nodded, smiling brightly. "Excellent!"

He looked at his energy source and saw that he had 400 basic energy units.

Without hesitation Ventair reached out, placed his hands on his ears and mouth, and transmitted a small stream of the divine energy that the Angels had just transmitted to him.

He felt a slight tingling sensation, then a subtle change occurred in his mind. After he was done he turned around, walking resolutely west, towards the vast plains where new adventures awaited.

His first steps on this strange planet had officially begun, with a clear plan and loyal Angels by his side.
