📘 Chapter 42: The Ignition of the Alliance
Since the moment the gateways between universes opened, Earth was no longer just a battlefield... it had become the heart of an alliance unlike any seen before.
In upper orbit, Superman led aerial formations made up of multiple versions of heroes. Before him, a blue star exploded into a portal, and from within emerged a future-version Batman, clad in heavy, gleaming armor built with technology from a time unknown.
"The message got through," he said calmly. "I'm here because the world I came from... didn't survive."
From another portal emerged a Flash from a future dimension, his face scarred by solitude and fire, but he smiled as he joined the team:
"The last time I ran… it was to escape. This time, it's to save."
Soaring above them came Wonder Woman from a magical alternate Themyscira, surrounded by a glowing golden aura of ancient power.

On the ground, Kairos's crystal forces began to grow from deep within the Earth, as if trying to crystallize the planet from the inside. Skyscrapers melted into misshapen crystal towers, and the sky transformed into a fractured mosaic of light.
Ben stood beside Supergirl, Gwen, Kevin, and Green Lantern.
Strapping the new watch tightly to his wrist, Ben said:
"Tonight, we're not alone… tonight, all the universes are fighting with us."

▪️ Kevin faced off against an evil version of himself — one from a universe fully consumed by Kairos.He was controlled by the Kairis crystals. Their fight was like a battle of mirrors, each strike echoing with anger and regret.
▪️ Gwen extracted a shard from Kairos's own dimension and fused it with an enchanted spell, creating a temporary expulsion field that disrupted Kairos's frequency.
▪️ Green Lantern led elite forces from other worlds, using willpower energy to form massive shields that protected civilians from the crystalline attacks.
▪️ Superman flew into the heart of the storm, breaking through a towering crystal wall to free a stranded ship filled with survivors.

Meanwhile, Ben and Supergirl launched their own mission: to break into the Crystal Core — the command center of Kairos's dimensional control.
As they passed through the crystalline field, Ben felt a faint tremor in his watch.
Supergirl, flying beside him through swirling, fractured light, said:
"It feels like the crystal is trying to stop us from thinking… from feeling."
Ben responded with a confident smile:
"Then we just have to think louder."

Just as they neared the inner core, a massive shadow appeared — not Kairos himself, but a twisted creature that spoke with his voice:

Ben pressed a button on the new Omnitrix, which glowed with a deep blue pulse that cut through the void.
"We're not just protecting them… we're giving them a choice."
