Chapter 3:- The Elements and Abilities.
The sun was rising slowly along the horizon. The rays of the sunlight were entering in Kaito's bedroom from the window. Kaito woke up and saw the time, "Oh! It's been morning already. Better I get ready for the academy or I'll get late." Kaito spoke while looking at the clock.

After a few moments Kaito reached the academy and entered in his classroom. There was about 20 minutes of time before the class starts, Kaito thought in his mind, "There's still 20 minutes of time before the class starts, maybe I should go and explore this academy to know it better." After this Kaito started to explore the academy. After this Kaito went to back of the academy, the back of the academy was full of trees, it was like a big forest. Kaito wondered,"This place is actually good." After this the bell rang and Kaito started to went back to his class, while running he saw a shadow behind one of the trees, Kaito stopped and slowly stepped forward to check out.
As Kaito reached near the tree suddenly Kaito had a flash back in that he saw, a person using an element, a black moon, a person fighting against a man, after this Kaito came back, Kaito stopped for a minute and thought, "Wha.. What was that?" Kaito was so much confused, he looked forward at the tree, there was no one. Kaito's mind raced "What just happened? Just right now there was a person!" Suddenly a female voice came from behind.
"What are you doing here?" Kaito looked back, the lady who spoke now was the girl from yesterday, Kaito said "Oh nothing." The girl spoke, "Return to your classroom didn't you heard the bell rang just now?" Kaito apologised,"Oh sorry my bad I am going to return to my classroom right now." Without talking much Kaito started to return to his classroom, the girl spoke again "Hey! Aren't we in the same class? I saw you yesterday in my class." Kaito replied, "Oh sorry I don't remember, I didn't saw you yesterday in the class. Sorry." The girl replied, "It's okay! There are students around 50-70 in our class. By the way my name is Yuki, Yuki Nakamura."
"Oh nice to meet you! I am Kaito Tenma." Kaito introduced himself. "Oh nice to meet you.. Kaito. Let's return to the class or we'll get late." Yuki replied. "Oh yes. Let's go." Kaito nodded. After this both returned in the classroom. After that the class teacher Ryo entered in the classroom.
The teacher spoke, "Uhm.. Good morning students. Today we are gonna announce the upcoming exam for you to become a rookie and one of the Amid Knight for the Amid Region." The class exploded in joy and excitement. Kaito got more excited. The teacher continued, "So we are gonna teach you everything about Tatwa, how to control elements and how to achieve one of the 6 different abilities." Kaito got even more excited, "Yes, the elements and 6 different abilities."
The class began with the teacher explaining the ranking system of the Amid Region, "So there are total 5 different ranks in the Amid Region.
1. Rookie
This is the lowest rank and most of the rookies are beginner mastering and learning to control their elements and abilities. They are given missions related to the city like cleaning finding something or someone or delivering message.
2. Amateur
This rank is given to the people who had passed the entrance exam for the Amid Knight exam and got qualified in top 8. They are given low ranked missions inside the city or outside the city. Example protecting someone going on a secret mission in another land.
3. Professional
They have mastered their elements and abilities and they are often given serious high rank missions. Such as assassination, stealing something from opposing nation.
4. Master
They are the highest ranked Amid Knights and they are given serious missions and sended in war, etc.
5. Legendary
There are only 10 legendary ranked Amid Knights each one is from other nation and they works like the leader of their respective nation. And they are always gone in serious meetings with other leaders to maintain the relations good with other nations and they are the strongest Amid Knights."
While listening this Kaito was getting even more curious and excited.
The teacher continued, "So the next one are the elements.
So, there are total 10 different elemental powers.
1. Fire
User can manipulate fire and provides user a fireproof body of the user cannot be burnt.
2. Water
User can manipulate water and provides user to not drown. It's super helpful in the serious missions.
3. Grass
User can manipulate grass for example leaf storms and provides user to talk to the nature, super helpful in difficult situations and user can disguise in nature.
4. Earth
User can manipulate land and provides user a strong body but low speed.
5. Ice
User can manipulate ice and doesn't provide anything but is one of the strongest element.
6. Wind
Can manipulate wind and provides user an ability to fly.
7. Thunder
Can manipulate lightning and provides user lightning speed.
8. Telekinesis
Uses psychic/telekinetic power to manipulate objects and elements of people. Provides user ability to levitate.
9. Terra
Can adapt the element according to the surrounding eg. When fighting in a icy region, user can use ice, earth, and fire. One will be of surrounding like ice is on earth so ice and earth and other one will be effective against the type. Goated but tricky and difficult to use. Provides user superhuman strength.
10. Stone
Stone can manipulate land and rock can be used to manipulate rocks and control the. Provides user a hard body to protect the body from deadly moves and attacks."
After listening to this Kaito thought for a second, "So there are 10 supernatural elements in this world as I was listening from the starting, so which element is the strongest?"
The teacher continued, "So there is a forbidden element that can't be learned. It is only achievable, and sorry for trouble but I can't explain about it as it's forbidden and it's not legal to explain this element."
Kaito's mind raced, "So there's a forbidden element. What would that be? I am gonna achieve it."
The teacher moved on the next topic, "So now it's time for the 6 different abilities." Kaito got excited as he was waiting for that specific topic.
The teacher continued, "So there are 6 different abilities based on the users training and element.
1. Adaptation
User can adapt to the stronger elements and in some cases he can learn other elements.
2. Energy
User can steal energy from nature or other elements.
3. Focus
User can target multiple enemies and and can attack simultaneously to many enemies at once. Super helpful in high ranked missions.
4. Copy
User can temporarily copy the surrounding elements. Example. If user is fighting on land user can use earth and rock elements.
5. Teleportation
User can teleport to any marked location but if has more experience they can teleport without any marked location. Helpful in assassination.
6. Summoner
User can summon a beast according to their element type."
A fire inside Kaito ignited. "Woah this world is amazing, I can't wait to learn one of these abilities and elements."
The teacher continued, "So that's it for today's class. Better get started to study on the day of your graduation you all have to choose any one of the elements out of 10. But before that you will need to pass the written exam that will be in next 6 months."
Kaito got serious for the written exam, "So a written exam, huh? There's no need to get scared, this is easy I am gonna pass this easily and choose the one element. Oh but which element should I choose, all of them are good and have their own advantages, hmm... Skip it I'll decide later." After the class ended Kaito rushed towards his house for the study to pass the exam.
