"Ahh!" Evannah guffawed loudly, raking her hands through her hair in frustration.
"No, I must be running mad," she murmurs to herself.
She heard footsteps approaching from behind again, but decided not to look back,
As she ran as fast as she could into her home and locked the door behind her.
Her stomach clenched together in fear as she suddenly felt nauseous, she ran into the toilet to hurl.
She wet her face with water and sat down on the toilet seat. She could feel her heart in her lungs.
She brought out her phone; Her hands trembled as she dialed Luna's number, her mind raced with the eerie voice's call. She had tried to brush it off as a prank, but the fear lingered, refusing to be shaken.
"Hey, cupcake! What's up?" Luna's cheerful voice answered, a stark contrast to Evanna growing unease.
Evanna took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.
"Luna, I need to talk to you about something…I've been getting these weird calls at work."
"What kind of calls?"Luna's tone turned serious, her concern evident even over the phone.
Evanna glanced around her room as she stepped out of the toilet before answering in a hushed tone, "Someone's been calling me, saying creepy things…and I think they might be stalking me too."
Luna's response was immediate. "Evanna, that's freaky! Have you told anyone else?" Evanna shook her head, feeling a mix of fear and embarrassment.
'I didn't want to be a bother…but now I'm not so sure. What if it's not just a prank?'
"There was silence at Luna's end, then suddenly she burst into a wild laughter that surprised Evanna.
"What's so funny?"Evanna asked, feeling irritated.
"I'm so sorry," Luna replied, trying to suppress her laughter when she Suddenly bursting into laughter again
"Ho! Eva Am sorry please forgive me I mean it this time."
Evannah, getting a little frustrated and irritated, kept silent and went to the refrigerator to grab a bottle of soda and snacks to eat waiting for Luna to finish her roll of laughter .

"Oh my gosh! Luna, You are so annoying."
"How does Williams cope with you?" She asked, feeling irritated and amused.
Luna, unable to control her laughter on hearing Evanna's statement, laughed out loud Hahaha.
'Eva!' she clears her throat Becoming serious, ' I have always told you to go on a blind dates but you won't listen.
"You are turning thirty-six (36) next year Eva! And you know what that means."
"Do you think anyone would dare to stalk you if you had a boyfriend."
Hummm! Evanna sighed and rolling her eyes "here we go again"
"You know i'm saying the truth Eva" Luna said being firm but polite
"I don't know Luna" she said feeling frustrated. It's just that, I don't want to dive into another line of emotional trauma for now, I have had enough.
"You don't know how lucky you are to have Williams." Evannah said.
"Luna sighed, Hmm I understand you darling please don't mind me just take your time Hun."
Don't worry, 'We'll figure this out together, cupcake I'm here for you and please bother me, if not me who else would you bother. Luna's reassuring words flowed through the phone line, like a calming balm to Evanna's frazzled nerves.
"Do you want me to come over tonight?" Luna asked. Evanna's eyes welled up with tears, on hearing Luna's offer.
"No, she said with a faint smile. "I just needed to talk to someone." She tried to sound calm.
"Okay, but promise me you'll be careful." Luna said, her concern evident.
"I'll come over tomorrow and we can figure out what to do next."
Evanna nodded, even though Luna couldn't see her.
"I promise, thanks, Luna.
"Just talking to you makes me feel better, but you can be annoying." She said, chuckling.
They said their goodbyes and ended the call.
Evanna felt a sense of relief wash over her and decided to go to bed.
she stared at the ceiling as she laid down, fear came over her again. She was so scared that her thoughts could become real, she immediately shut her eyes and slept.

"Who were you with on the phone that made you leave me for half an hour?"
Luna turned to the voice coming from the corridor.
"Awww, baby Luna walked up to him with a smile and a tender kiss."
"Did I make you wait for long?", she said teasingly as she stared intently into his eyes.
Williams replied with a nod.
"I was on a call with Eva"she said as she sat on the couch.
"She seems to be in danger."
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"She told me about some strange calls she has been receiving."
"Wow! That's unbelievable," he exclaimed.
Luna heaved a deep sigh; "I know right!" She replied.
" I need to pay her a visit tomorrow" she said as her eyes were fixed on Williams as if to get a reply from him
Williams, understanding her,Replied.
"that doesn't mean I am happy that you left me alolne in the room, you could have just taken the call in the room.
Luna sensing his jealousy, Smiled at his childish action, and kissed him tenderly.
