Chapter 11 - saint world 2

Yulo gazed at the bloody summoning circle that he had created and started completing the last step of the summoning. He began chanting in ancient saint language.

Midway through, as he was chanting, the circle started pulsating as the bloody words that he had inscribed at the center of the pentagon started rearranging into demonic letters that were incomprehensible to him; just looking at them caused his eyes to bleed.

He closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and continued chanting. Inside, he was happy because the circle moving meant the ritual was real… Seconds passed, then,

Boom!

He felt the presence of something he could only describe as vile and lustful descended.

The presence was so horrifying that his knees gave out, breathing became difficult, and his body trembled with instinctive fear; it was as if he was in the presence of his natural predator. If it wasn't for his stronger-than-average body and mind, he would have most definitely passed out.

A second later, the presence diminished greatly, and he opened his eyes and gazed at the demon standing before him, who was also gazing at him with a weird expression.

To be honest he was a little underwhelmed by the ferocity of the demon's appearance.

He was expecting a creature whose ugliness was beyond his, a creature who would give him nightmares just by looking at it, but what he summoned was a creature who was not half as ugly as he was.

Except for its aura, razor like teeth that seem to be able to devour the world, skin tone, extremely large penis, glowing purple eyes, and twin glowing colorful tails that twirl around like vipers, there was nothing else really foreign about its appearance.

But he knew better than to judge the demon before him solely based on its appearance.

He bowed his head once more, slamming it into the dirt and shouted in a respectful tone.

"Thank you, oh lord demon, for answering this pitiful one's call!"

…..

{Veal}

The moment Veal regained his vision, his purple eyes darted around with alertness as he scanned the surroundings.

Based on the dirt and darkness, he deduced that he was underground, standing at the center of a pentagram-shaped bloody circle.

And before him knelt a trembling figure covered in black armor. His eyes penetrated the armor and gazed down at the creature hidden inside. His memories stirred,

'Human… only one that would be considered extremely ugly by human standards.'

He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word, he felt a force descend down on him. Its aim and intent were clear.

Suppress.

Repel.

This force was the world instinctively suppressing and repelling him, who was a foreign creature. The force was a kin to invisible chains they weaved around him binding a portion of his strength and abilities.

His blood turned sluggish, his aura and pheromones dimmed.

'World suppression.' He snarled. 'My strength is now equal to that of an elite Bloodling demon.'

At that moment, the human welcomed him. Many ideas flashed through his mind, then he spoke,

"What's the request you have, and where is the offering?"

Yulo answered immediately,

"My lord, I request that you grant me the ability to take revenge upon this world that has done me wrong… and in exchange, I will give my everything and the world to you."

Veal frowned before replying,

"If it's just wanting revenge on the humans on this world, I can easily grant you the ability to achieve that. But I'm afraid you don't have enough authority to hand over the world to me, now, do you?"

Yulo paused for a second. Even though he didn't understand the language the demon spoke, for some reason, when it entered his mind, he understood the intent, and the demon was right. Who was he to offer the world? Did he own the world? No. He thought of things that he owned, and it was sad to say that he owned nothing. 'Do I even own myself?' he wondered… He was at a loss and didn't know how to reply.

"I-I," he stuttered.

"How about this? I will grant you the ability to take your so-called revenge. But I will dictate how you take said revenge, and we will also change the terms of the contract," said Veal in a calm tone.

"O-OK!" muttered Yulo without hesitation. As long as he could get revenge, he didn't care much for the how and the when, or what he had to exchange for it.

The moment he answered, Veal grinned, after which the letters on the pentagram twisted and turned into new demonic words, after which he pricked his finger and his blood dropped on the words.

His blood then twisted and morphed into words that represented his true name.

The pentagram then pulsed one last time before vanishing completely.

That was a demon contract.

Something that is used to bind agreement and disagreement between demons and others.

Once the contract is signed not even creatures at the level of gods can rebel against it.

"Now tell me about this world… and how strong are the strongest creatures?" he questioned.

Yulo then told him everything he needed to know: the world was a very small, human-only world and was ruled by one power, which was the Saint Empire.

The humans of this world greatly value purity and beauty; the more beautiful and the more pure you are, the higher you stand in society.

The supernatural forces of this world were very limited, and the strongest humans are equal to an elite Bloodling-rank demon, which was within his expectations considering the fact that the strength cap for a bronze portal world was the crimson bone rank.

He licked his lips, then drew out all the pheromones he could under the world's suppression. He then pointed at Yulo and,

Whoosh!

A purple light shot from his finger and penetrated Tull's skull. Yulo's eyes dimmed for a second, then they flashed with clarity,

"As you command, my king," he said, then stood up and vanished into the darkness.

As for Veal, he took a seat cross legged in the darkness. His tail dimmed as all of his aura vanished. For now, because of the suppression, he had to stay low-key, lest he fall to the humans of this world, considering the fact that he and the strongest were currently at the same level.

Many ideas and schemes of how he was going to sink this oh-so-pure world into depravity flash through his mind.

And on the side note, he was glad that there was no sign of the Matron.
