Chapter 31 - Cahpter 31. Couples

"Craige, please…"

Lurens moaned, his voice thick with desperation. His whole body burned with need, slick and trembling. He was soaked from behind, and the pressure between his

legs was almost unbearable. He could feel how hard Craige was against him, the

pleasure radiating between them was overwhelming.

"I will, baby… just a little more," Craige whispered against his lips, kissing him

hungrily. His hand slid down to Luren's pants, fingers skillfully unbuckling them…

But then, voices echoed nearby. Some villagers must be walking toward there direction

They both froze. Craige glanced up, frustration evident in his eyes.

"Damn... I almost lost it," he groaned, quickly zipping Luren's pants back up. He pressed

a soft kiss to Luren's forehead. "Let's head back. We need to go north this afternoon anyway."

"Craige…" Luren's voice was quiet, hesitant. He shifted uncomfortably, a strange wetness

trickling down behind him. Was it… because he was an omega?

Craige followed his gaze, his eyes softening before letting out a low, amused growl.

"You're driving me insane, baby," he said, scooping Luren into his arms bridal-style.

"Let's get you cleaned up first."

"This is so embarrassing…" Luren muttered, hiding his flushed face in the crook of Craige's neck.

Craige chuckled, his tone teasing.

"Not at all. It just proves how good I am… and how much you like it when I play with

your nipples."

"Craige!" Luren smacked his shoulder, flustered.

Still laughing, the two of them slipped into the cool lake, letting the water soothe

their burning skin. Moments later, they returned to the group, who were

lounging beneath the shade of a large, ancient tree, sharing laughter and sweet

fruits under the dappled sunlight.

Cassian and Gab were also walking toward their direction, the tension that once stood like a wall between them now quietly faded. They walked side by side, their shoulders brushing lightly now and then, though neither dared to mention it.

Gab's fingers twitched at his side, aching to reach for Cassian's hand, but fear held

him back. What if it's too soon? he wondered, casting a nervous glance at

Cassian.

Cassian, sensing the look, turned to him with a small, uncertain smile. "You okay?" he

asked gently, his voice low enough that only Gab could hear.

Gab nodded quickly, looking away as his cheeks turned a faint pink. "Y-Yeah… I just… it feels strange. Not bad, just… new," he mumbled, fiddling with the edge of his

sleeve.

Cassian's hand brushed his again, this time intentionally. "It feels new to me too," he

said, his eyes soft. "But I'm glad it's with you."

Gab looked up, eyes wide and heart fluttering. For the first time in a long while, he

smiled, shy, but real.

"You are finally back" Arabelle was teasing but she was happy seing what happened

between Gab and his brother.

"Where did you go daddy?" Codie asked innocently while eating watermelon

"They just swim deeper" Clara answered teasingly

Everyone laugh happily.

They go back to the manor after enjoying a heart full Lunch.

The horses that they left was already in the stable, the knight get it.

After Craige's team departed for the north, Arabelle also took her leave, returning

to their estate.

Night fell upon Duke Cassian's manor, warm, still, and cloaked in silence.

Most of the employees retired for the night.

Gab had just finished his duties for the day and was about to retire to his room when a

hand suddenly grabbed him, pulling him away just as he was about to open his door.

"Cassian???" Gab gasped, eyes wide, mouth falling open in shock. "What are you doing?" Before he could process what was happening, he was dragged into Cassian's

bedroom.

"Sleep here tonight…" Cassian said, then corrected himself with a low, steady voice,

"No—sleep here starting tonight." He gently pushed Gab down onto the bed.

Gab's heart raced in his chest. Cassian was wearing nothing but a loosely tied bathrobe,

and the sight made his breath hitch. His voice came out small and uncertain.

"I-I need to shower first," he said, cheeks burning in embarrassment.

Cassian let out a soft, impatient groan but stepped back, eyes smoldering. "Make it fast," he whispered, his voice brushing against Gab's skin like warm velvet.

Gab's ears turned bright red. He quickly turned on his heel and darted to the bathroom, his legs nearly tripping over themselves.

Gab stood under the stream of warm water longer than necessary, trying to calm the

whirlwind inside him. His hands trembled slightly as he dried off and changed

into the bathrobe he found folded neatly by the sink. Every second ticked louder in his chest.

When he finally stepped out of the bathroom, the lights in the bedroom had dimmed to a

soft, golden glow.
